SCIENCE! is NOT as most imagine it to be.
SCIENCE! is a religion.
This can be ably demonstrated by the great number of scientific theories, postulations and stories which have to be taken on faith.
“Anybody who has been seriously engaged in scientific work of any kind realizes that over the entrance to the gates of the temple of science are written the words: ‘Ye must have faith.’”

Planck spoke of the ‘temple of science.’ What normally takes place in temples?
Science is an Ancient, Pagan Religion
HOWEVER, the truth NEVER changes. What is true today will be the true tomorrow.
Science Constantly Changes, The Truth Never Changes
The truth is immutable.
THEREFORE, when a man of science (Max Planck) makes a statement which contains kernels of truth, it is the rarest of occurrences.
Planck was a Nobel Prize winner in Physics in 1918.
As a scientist, Planck made MANY nonsensical statements during his lifetime. The following was NOT among them.
“A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.”
At another time, Planck reworded his statement:
“An important scientific innovation rarely makes its way by gradually winning over and converting its opponents: What does happen is that the opponents gradually die out.”
Together, these two statements are known as “Planck’s Principle.”
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. . . . An important scientific innovation rarely makes its way by gradually winning over and converting its opponents: it rarely happens that Saul becomes Paul. What does happen is that its opponents gradually die out, and that the growing generation is familiarized with the ideas from the beginning: another instance of the fact that the future lies with the youth.

Planck’s Principle has been sometimes reduced to “Science progresses one funeral at a time“.
At any rate, ‘Planck’s Principle’ is that rarest of things: a truthful statement about science from a man of science.
DOES the reader put his faith in SCIENCE!?
It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
