Why Prayers Go Unanswered

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”
—1 Peter 3:12

“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”
—John 9:31

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:”
—Psalm 66:18

Periodically, end times man is warned that God’s Word is true.

Periodically, end times man is warned that ALL of God’s Word is true.

Periodically, end times man is reminded about what God Word has to say about those who pray, the prayers that are prayed and God’s response to those prayers.

To the very FEW who are believers, there are NO unanswered prayers.

To the wicked MANY, there are NO prayers which are answered.

God’s Word declares that God will answer ALL who pray with the will of God.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
–Romans 8:26-27

Likewise, God’s Word is CLEAR that God will NOT answer the prayers of the wicked–even if those who are wicked who mistakenly consider themselves to be God’s children and EVEN IF the wicked attend services weekly at one of the churches.

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”

OF COURSE, Satan (the dragon) and his workers of iniquity will CONTINUALLY tell the lost that they are SAVED and going to heaven because they are good, church-going folk.

Why do prayers go unanswered?

The simple answer is that the prayer is offered by someone considered WICKED or EVIL by God.

So, IF the reader has ever complained that God is NOT answering his prayers, the reader is advised to follow the same advice offered years ago.

WHERE to Go For Accurate End Times Information?

A great many men are curious about the end times.

But only a portion of that number care enough to get ACCURATE end times information.

SOME men obtain their end times information from false teachers or false prophets or some other charlatans.

SOME men turn to Satan’s workers of iniquity for lovely, self-serving end times stories, either on the Internet or elsewhere.

SOME men get their end times info from those who attempt to make a quick buck from the curious.

SO WHERE to those FEW get their ACCURATE end times information from?

God’s Word, generally.

Specifically, the most reliable information about the end times is to be found THROUGHOUT the Bible, but there are several places in God’s Word which have the events of the last days as their theme.

ALL 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation, particularly the 13th chapter.

The 24th chapter of Matthew. Consequently, chapter 13 in Mark and 21 in Luke also contain MUCH information about the last days.

Then, there are chapters which contain good information, such as 2THESSALONIANS 2 or the 3 chapters of Joel.

FEW consult God’s Word about the events taking place (or about to take place) on the earth because FEW believe God’s Word, the ONLY source of truth in today’s world.

So there are a GREAT MANY who are interested in the events of the end times.

BUT, there are only a FEW who are interested enough to get ACCURATE information about those events.

IS the reader interested in what will happen upon the earth in the near future?

IS the reader interested ENOUGH to consult God’s Word on the matter?

OR, does the reader believe the God’s Word is just a ‘bunch of stories’?

It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Coarse Language Among the Moderns

One sign of the time in which we now live is the coarseness of modern discourse.

Words of a vulgar type–which once were not heard in public among the learned–are, in modern times, not only heard but celebrated as a way of showing that one is up-to-the-minute cool and fashionable.

The language of modern politics is the language of professional wrestling: filled with name-calling, filthy imagery and insults.

The coarseness of modern speech overwhelms most readers as media, culture, entertainment and other facets of ‘acceptable’ behavior freely use and promote such previously-verboten words.

[The reader can most probably compile a list of speech which would NOT have been used in public only 15-20 years ago.]

Unspoken is the world’s promise that, if such speech is used, it signifies that the user is merely employing the world’s latest tools to demonstrate his ‘open-mindedness.’

IN FACT, to point out that such language is coarse and low is to mark one as a ‘fuddy-duddy‘ in the minds of the worldly.

In reality, dirty words are dirty words.

And ALL dirty words–particularly those used in passing–will be judged.

As usual, God’s Word has given its verdict of such talk.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
–Ephesians 4:29

“The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.”
–Proverbs 15:28

As Jesus Christ Himself once warned:

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
–Matthew 12:36

The degradation of public language is one more sign of men favoring the world’s values over God’s.

OF COURSE, God’s Word details the degradation of, not only men’s speech, but of men themselves.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God”
–2TIMOTHY 3:1-4

Those who promote such things will be quick to reply that “It has always been so.” That EVERY older generation has complained of the wickedness of the younger.

AS IF, this somehow invalidates the complaints of those earlier generations.

HAS the reader noticed this coarseness of public speech?

THEN the reader needs to know that it will continue to get WORSE before it gets better.
