OCCASIONALLY, a person wishes he could have recorded a particular discussion.
On those occasions, one usually doesn’t realize UNTIL LATER how many good points were covered AT THE TIME such a discussion took place.
And so it was that a few weeks ago, a discussion which touched on one’s BELIEFS took place–and it wasn’t until later that it was discovered that MANY good points were raised (by BOTH involved in the discussing).
As was already stated: sometimes a person wishes they had a recording of such a conversation–to later refer to and so NOTHING important would be forgotten.
BUT the conversation was NOT recorded–and so, reliance upon one’s memories will have to do–however spotty and imperfect those memories might be.
However, TWELVE points WERE remembered–and so, those TWELVE have been listed for the reader.
Therefore, SOME of the points touched upon during a discussion of one’s BELIEFS follow–along with a number of observations on those points.
1- EVERYTHING one believes: he believes what he is told.
It does NOT matter what that belief is.
This is one BIG reason Satan’s mystery of iniquity places such GREAT emphasis on education.
“Get ’em when they’re YOUNG!”
2- Education NOT ONLY teaches the points which one’s belief system is built upon, it constantly REWARDS those who memorize and learn the stories they have been told.
The ‘education system’ is all about rewarding those who learn the finer points of the stories they are told by the education system.
3- One surprising fact is that so many younger, self-reliant youth REBEL against what they are told–no matter if they are told over and over and over again.
A GREAT NUMBER of readers will agree: The youth don’t like to listen.
Oh, they’re listening, but they believe they are NOT.
One way to KNOW this is the number of formerly-rebellious youth who end up being ‘molded’ into fine, upstanding citizens.
4- Another surprising fact is the great number of those once-REBELLIOUS YOUTH–who want to learn to do things ‘their own way’–who eventually end up returning to the fold by following the stories they once rebelled against.
5- MOST people think they pick and choose what they believe. This is because MOST like to feel they have SOME measure of control over their lives.
However, MOST do not ‘pick and choose’ what they believe. What MOST people end up believing is chosen FOR THEM by those in control of education,entertainment, the culture and other points of reference in one’s life.
6- IF the reader has been told false stories all of his life, he will come to believe lies–though the lie-believer probably does not realize he is being told falsehoods.
WHY is the reader told lies?
There is more than one reason, BUT one BIG reason folks are told so many lies: IF One Does Not Know the Problem, One Can Never Find a Solution
7- The reader can KNOW he is being indoctrinated NOW by how repetitious the stories he reads every day are.
“But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.”

Has the reader EVER wondered why that which he is told is constantly repeated?
Even stories which were told 20, 30 or 100 years ago are regularly repeated–by education; by entertainment; by the media–in order to keep those who believe on the hook.
8- IF ONLY the reader would think back and remember how repetitious the stories were which he was told when he was YOUNGER (by the education system, for example).
9- MOST feel they are able to choose what they believe BECAUSE they choose what to believe from a bouquet of stories they are given as a youth.
10- So-called ‘conspiracy theories’ gain a LOT of adherents because MANY who KNOW the stories they are told are NOT true LOOK AROUND for alternate explanations.
MOST discount the truth of God’s Word because one of the most constant points of indoctrination are attacks on the validity of God’s Word.
11- Eventually, most leave conspiracy theories behind because they discover that the information presented in most conspiracy theories is no more reliable than the information they KNEW was false in the first place.

12- Those FEW who turn to the truth of God’s Word find they are given ‘infallible proofs’ which allow them to pierce the cover of darkness and deception which surround the world’s stories.
Since the world knows NOTHING about such information, the world assumes it must NOT exist.
Therefore, the world remains deceived.
“And the great dragon…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”
–Revelation 12:9
And those are the points REMEMBERED–as well as the odd observation or two–from a conversation held ONLY a few weeks ago.
HAS the reader ever wondered how he arrived at his set of beliefs?
It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
