When engaged in a spirited conversation the other day, it occurred to this writer that SOMETIMES a person will be on the RIGHT TRACK but then suddenly veer off onto a path provided by those who imagine they control the world.
The particular topic being discussed was the deceptions in politics and advertising.
MOST are more familiar with the advertising deceptions because MOST are more familiar with the ads they see for the products they buy.
At least MOST are MORE familiar with the products they buy than the leaders who are provided for them, ostensibly, free of charge.
At one point, a woman involved in the conversation exclaimed–almost SHOUTING (as though she had just stumbled upon a GREAT TRUTH)–“They’ll say ANYTHING for the money!”
It’s hard to remember if the woman was voicing her thoughts toward the lies of celebrities used in advertising or the lies told by political leaders.
But the REPLY to the woman’s distress MIGHT be something for readers to remember in the coming months. (Although the popular game show, Jeopardy!, was not on at the moment, the reply took the form of a question.)
“Men are CERTAINLY motivated by money. But might men be motivated by things OTHER than money?”

DOES the reader weigh each and everything he hears by asking “Who stands to make some money from this?”
DOES the reader now realize this sort of thinking is short-sighted?
It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?

DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
