THE PAGAN HOLIDAY OF IMBOLC AND GROUNDHOG DAY
February 2 is NOT “Groundhog Day” IF one is a committed pagan.
February 2 is Imbolc.
Imbolc or Imbolg (Irish pronunciation: [ɪˈmˠɔlˠɡ]), also called Saint Brigid’s Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Bríde;
Scottish Gaelic: Là Fhèill Brìghde; Manx: Laa’l Breeshey), is a Gaelic traditional festival.
MOST of the latest information on Imbolc insists that the day is celebrated on February 1. Older information, however, has the day as February 2. (Perhaps Groundhog Day and Imbolc BOTH being on February 2 was a little bit too coincidental.)
Neopagans usually celebrate Imbolc on 1 February in the Northern Hemisphere and 1 August in the Southern Hemisphere. Some Neopagans celebrate it at the astronomical midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox (or the full moon nearest this point). In the Northern Hemisphere, this is usually on 3 or 4 February.
So, according to the latest information, apparently, February 1, 3 or 4 were fine days to celebrate Imbolc.
NOT on February 2, however.
Regardless of the claims of which day to celebrate, it’s easy to see how the two days might be confused.
ONE custom, in particular, marks both days.
This custom would be WEATHER DIVINATION.
Of course, Groundhog Day is ALL about weather divination–and little else.
An important part of Imbolc has been the weather divination based on various animal doings.
The festival was traditionally a time of weather divination, and the old tradition of watching to see if serpents or badgers came from their winter dens may be a forerunner of the North American Groundhog Day.
Imbolc, being the fullblown pagan holy day, honored a pagan goddess: Brigid.
This is not so much a public feature of Groundhog Day–as it was stated, Groundhog Day has been about WEATHER DIVINATION and little else.
Celtic Reconstructionists usually celebrate the festival when the first stirrings of spring are felt, or on the full moon nearest this. Many use traditional songs and rites from sources such as The Silver Bough and The Carmina Gadelica. It is a time of honouring the Goddess Brigid, and many of her dedicants choose this time of year for rituals to her.
Like most of the churches, many of the early “saints” were previously pagan gods and goddesses. It’s no different with “Saint” Brigid of Imbolc who was previously known as the GODDESS Brigid.
Wiccans and Neo-Druids celebrate Imbolc as one of the eight Sabbats in their Wheel of the Year, following Midwinter and preceding Ostara. In Wicca, Imbolc is commonly associated with the goddess Brigid and as such, it is sometimes seen as a “women’s holiday” with specific rites only for female members of a coven.
Groundhog Day–which is the modern, cleaned-up version of Imbolc–celebrates WEATHER DIVINATION using Punxsutawney Phil, a groundhog. Phil supposedly sees his shadow and predicts if Spring will be earlier or later. Imbolc is not limited to groundhogs as weather progosticators, using different animals as their weather forecasters.
The pagan holiday of Imbolc continues to be celebrated around the world–though its name has been changed (to protect the innocent?) to GROUNDHOG DAY.
And as always: Imbolc, like many of the other pagan festivals we celebrate, is about FUN!, food and family.

And whether one celebrates the day on February 1, 3 or 4th OR on its more traditional day of February 2–just like Groundhog Day–Imbolc is STILL a reminder that the time of the pagan is almost here.
And AFTER the time of the pagans (42 months), the climax of human history–the return of Jesus Christ–takes place.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER
For one reason or another, September 11 has been a day on which things have happened in America.
For example:
In 1776, the British and Americans held a peace conference on Staten Island, NYC on September 11 that failed to put a stop to the Revolutionary War. The colonies continued in their rebellion and eventually became the United States of America.
In 1789, the US Treasury became operational as Alexander Hamilton was appointed its first Secretary on September 11.
In 1826, Capt. William Morgan was arrested in Batavia, New York. Subsequently he was kidnapped on September 11 and the story goes, was murdered. His posthumous book was published which supposedly revealed many secrets of the Masons. Morgan’s disappearance caused such an outrage that Freemasons “went underground” in America.
By a great coincidence, four years later on September 11 1830, the Anti-Masonic political party held one of the first political conventions in America.
1893 – Parliament of the World’s Religions opened in Chicago on September 11, where Swami Vivekananda delivers his speech on fanaticism, tolerance and the truth inherent in all religions. This antichristian declaration served as an announcement of the tone of the end times during the upcoming 20th and 21st centuries.
1919 – U.S. Marines invade Honduras.
1941 – Construction of the Pentagon began. The only massive government building which is in the shape of a pentagon.
On September 11, 1990, President George H.W. Bush gave his Address Before a Joint Session of the Congress on the Persian Gulf Crisis and the Federal Budget Deficit. In it he made his first announcement of the coming New World Order. 25 years later, the speech is chilling to read, but at the time Americans rallied to its call.

Americans are stashing cash away under mattresses, in freezers – Here’s a question for all of those busy beavers stashing their cash away: Do you think maybe the mystery of iniquity forgot to take into account that people would be hiding cash?
QUESTION #2: Is cash anything more than just little green slips of paper–particularly if the new rulers institute a brand new currency?
When the hammer comes down, no amount of cash will save one from what is to come upon the earth.
(By the way, stashing cash is something one does IF the system will remain in place; NOT if the system is going down altogether.)

THE PURPOSE OF SCIENCE

Some scientists want you to believe we’re closer to the apocalypse because scaring you gives them power. That’s why they’ve rebooted the Doomsday Clock.
Scientists are witch doctors in lab coats; the remnants of an ancient, pagan religion.
As such, their sole job appears to be to cast doubt on the Bible.
REBRANDING EVIL: Science is an Ancient, Pagan Religion
Science! are not the only pocket of this ancient false religion operating in the world today.
But Science! is probably the most visible.
USA: TURNING VICE INTO VIRTUE
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Why is the American Dream dead in the South? – Ours is a country that invented a completely new way of expressing the sin of “covetousness“: The American Dream.
The USA has specialized in turning sins into virtues.
“Pride” or “proud of” is something that is to be proclaimed.
The lust for stuff that we call The American Dream [“Immoderate desire for the possession of something, especially for wealth.”] was never a sin in America.
It was a noble calling.
Gluttony became “just getting our money’s worth” at the All-You-Can-Eat buffet.
No wonder so many church folk are proud that the USA was “founded as a Christian nation.”
