“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
–Isaiah 55:8-9
One may spend HOURS seriously contemplating the two verses in Isaiah 55 (8 and 9) and STILL not be able to ‘wrap one’s head around‘ what they are saying.
Basically, the two verses are telling man “Hey! You cannot even understand the things I consider. But, that’s okay: you do not have to.”
The PROBLEMS begin whenever man BELIEVES he can understand the thoughts and ways of his Creator.
Man cannot EVEN begin to understand.
Those few who come to the realization that they are not equipped to understand the considerations of God achieve a peace within themselves and with all that surrounds them.
The others?
They grapple and struggle with ideas which are “above their pay grade,” but which they refuse to acknowledge are beyond their capabilities to comprehend.
The basic problem is that man attempts to understand the infinite possessing finite faculties.
This is the ultimate case of squaring the circle: man is NOT equipped to understand certain things, BUT worldly men refuse to accept their limitations.

Whenever man has delusions of grandeur and believes himself the equal of his Creator, man most usually creates more problems than he initially tackled.
This behavior has been demonstrated throughout history, but during the end times, these actions increase because man’s disbelief increases.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
–2THESSALONIANS 2:3-4
To boil it all down: man is NOT God.
BUT, to the deceived, man IS God.
If they knew otherwise, they would NOT be deceived.
“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
–Isaiah 55:10-11
HAS the reader ever wondered about those things which lie beyond his understanding OR his ability to understand?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
