A FRIENDLY END TIMES REMINDER
When times are good and the living is easy, MANY men forget the uncounted ways they make their surroundings MORE comfortable.
This softening of one’s living space happens so often, it is not only forgotten, it is forgotten how many times it occurs.
And it doesn’t matter if the space one is making more comfortable is permanent or temporary.
[The media carries MANY stories about this circumstance in temporary lodging.]

What are some of the ways a person might make add a touch of the normal to his living space to help make it more comfortable for himself?
It’s all a matter of taste and preference.
One man might add MUSIC to make his living more easy. Another man might add ELECTRONIC or COMPUTER GAMES. A third man might ensure easy access to his FAVORITE FOOD or DRINKS. Still another might make sure that he has INTERNET ACCESS.
It depends WHAT makes that particular person comfortable and the living space he inhabits more ‘lived in.’
What happens IF these small comforts DISAPPEAR–which could easily happen for a period of time?
To those who are USED to having their comforts:
IF the electric power was off for any length of time, COMPUTER or ELECTRONIC GAMES would no longer be available.
IF the electric power was off for any length of time, MUSIC could not be played after the batteries ran out.
The same could be said of those who obsess over their CELL PHONES. Without power, CELL PHONES are just a piece of plastic and glass that one holds on their face IF the habit is strong enough.
DOES one start their morning out with a cup of their favorite COFFEE–and perhaps a PASTRY?
IF the electric power was off for any length of time, the only way to enjoy COFFEE is IF one has access to a fire source–as in the Wild West days.
Those very small things which provide comfort are a part of each person’s ‘normality;’ of what makes that person’s living space more ‘normal’ AND more comfortable. These small, mostly-daily comforts help make life more livable.
Gee, it sounds like a LOT of anxiety and stress could pile up IF something happened to the electric power supply.
So many of our creature comforts–as well as ‘normal’ necessities–depend on having electric power available.
Might anxiety INCREASE IF there was NO electric power?
A lot of people who don’t think very far ahead have purchased gasoline generators in case their electricity is interrupted.
Electric gasoline-powered generators are a GREAT idea–IF the power comes back on in a hurry.
BUT, one had better hope that the station where one purchases their fuel for their generator has a generator of their own: to PUMP that fuel IF the power is off for any length of time.
Just a few things the reader may want to keep in mind during the last days.
This has been another friendly end times reminder.
HAS the reader closely considered how different their life would be without the ‘small comforts?’
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
