Perhaps man is attracted to what is SHINY because man is easily deceived and believes something that LOOKS like it is highly lustrous is a thing which contains a lot of LIGHT?

There are stores dedicated to providing that which is SHINY. Many of these stores appear to operate in the category “Party Supplies.”

Maybe because SHINY is so much FUN?

It seems that those things which are SHINY are just naturally attractive to man.

Has the reader ever wondered why this might be?

Some other words which could be used for SHINY are glitter, shimmering and (especially) sparkle.

During the present days, ‘sparkle,’ in particular, has received the media’s attention. ‘Sparkle’ is NOT often paired with SHINY. HOWEVER, ‘sparkle’ is FREQUENTLY paired with SHINE.

The world can usually be counted on to sing the siren song of “shiny sparkle = GOOD.” Not surprisingly, the sparkle and shine quotes are revealing.

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

Man has ALWAYS been attracted to that which is SHINY.

And during the last days of the end times, there will be a NUMBER of people who APPEAR to be agents of LIGHT but are working for the enemy.  In this way, such people can be said to be SHINY.

Probably the best-known of the SHINY last days people is the man of sin.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”
–2THESSALONIANS 2:3

The man of sin is ALSO known as the false prophet; i.e., the false Messiah.  This man will LOOK like God’s Son, Jesus Christ, but if anyone pays close attention to what he is saying, the man of sin will SOUND like the dragon (Satan).

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

As with most things SHINY, the man of sin is held out as BAIT: as the world’s great solver-of-problems.

And, as with the GREAT majority of those SHINY things, the man of sin winds up paying for his deceit.

“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse [Jesus Christ], and against his army [from heaven]. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

Another GREAT deception of the last days is the dragon (Satan) himself, who presents himself as a FRIEND OF MAN–instead of the dragon being the ENEMY OF MAN.

The dragon is one SHINY serpent!

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
–2CORINTHIANS 13-15

The dragon may be SHINY due to the his once being an angel of the LORD.  Still, God’s Word warns of such deceptions.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
–Galatians 1:8

So, the dragon and his man of sin–who are two of the central characters in the worldwide REBELLION against God–APPEAR to the deceived as agents of righteousness.

Beware of SHINY people in the last days!

How many of one’s thoughts are truly one’s own?

The entire process of thinking, as well as what many believe to be “internal conversations with themselves,” is vastly different than what many suppose.

This can be known because a man/woman will be alone, working at something which has their attention and then a thought suddenly comes into their head.

This thought may prompt them to abandon their work, to make a call to re-ignite a long-settled argument with someone they know, OR to go around in circles tormenting their self over something which happened long ago, the outcome of which they have NO chance of changing.

In other words, the thought (which they assume originated from within their mind) leads them to action which is detrimental in some way to their self.

Most who suffer from these mental lapses and torments do so because they no longer believe God’s Word. IF they did, they would know that many thoughts are put in a person’s mind by entities which are unfriendly to humans.

The Bible calls these entities “devils” (demons).

Thoughts which lead the thinker to somewhere other than peace or a constructive resolution are not from God.

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

A person is to keep control of their mind at all times.  The Bible advises believers to worship God

“with all their whole mind.”

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”

Keeping control of one’s WHOLE mind is why it is important to pay particularly close attention to the formation of thoughts and take captive those contrary to God’s Word.

Man has ALWAYS been attracted to that which is SHINY.

Of all of the SHINY (those things which capture the attention of the eyes and which appear to be luminous) objects available during the last days, perhaps the most dangerous to those who dwell upon the earth, are the many SHINY STORIES which are told by the ENEMIES of man.

These stories SOUND good–as long as one does NOT look too closely at them–but upon closer inspection, these narratives lead those who follow them to destruction.

SHINY stories have been told for centuries: some as what we call “history;” others, as what we call “education,” “science” or “medicine.”

The reader can KNOW that these narratives are nothing more than SHINY (attractive) stories IF the reader had enough interest in doing so.  But, most are more interested in believing those things which are told to them by those they KNOW lie to them.

The SHINY STORIES of the last days are a particularly NOXIOUS form of narrative.  They not only DECEIVE, they lead the unwary to their destruction.

Among the SHINY STORIES already told (especially to those who inhabit the churches), the Pre-Tribulation Rapture fable is one of the most destructive.  Although worldly sources try and give this Johnny-come-lately story a centuries-old background, the narrative is relatively new, being a few hundred years old.

There are a number of other SHINY STORIES which exalt the dragon (Satan).

One of these has to do with Satan being called the ‘God of this world’ by the deceived.

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
–2CORINTHIANS 4:4

This is perhaps the EASIEST story to debunk.

1- There is NOWHERE in God’s Word which declares that there are any other gods other than God Almighty.

2- In the chapter before 2CORINTHIANS 4:4, the discussion is focused on God–NOT Satan–and God’s ability to uniquely blind men to the truth.

“And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.”
–2CORINTHIANS 3:13-16

Another SHINY (full of reflected luminescence) STORY told about the dragon during the last days is about the dragon’s overwhelming power and his victory over God and God’s Son, Jesus Christ.

The followers of the dragon BELIEVE this SHINY STORY with all of their hearts.

This does not make the story true, however.

God (who created the dragon) declares that He will ensure the followers of Jesus will have enough power to defeat the dragon and his minions.

As Jesus once told his disciplines:

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
–Luke 10:18-20

One more story is the one told about how the dragon will slay those who stay loyal to their Creator and refuse to worship the dragon.

That the dragon will kill those who do not worship him or his beasts is true.

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

The SHINY STORY is the one told to persuade those who dwell on the earth to WORSHIP the dragon–instead of God.

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8

These are only a very few of the SHINY STORIES which deceived men believe NOW and LATER. IF the reader is interested enough, he may read about these events in the Book of Revelation. But most are deceived and thus will NOT invest a little time to ensure their eternal salvation.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.

1- capable of being molded or modeled; pliable.

2- having a quality suggestive of mass-produced plastic goods, especially artificial

The media/culture/entertainment world is full of those rich and celebrated elites we call “celebrities.”

By far, most celebrities have a plastic-like quality to them.

Celebrities DO NOT do much that is constructive, but they DO keep busy. Their primary work seems to center around

1- Making sure the world knows their opinions.

2- Putting on clothing which will create a “buzz.” When one is a celebrity, that means ANY clothing.

3- NOT putting on clothing; this will still create a “buzz.”. Many celebrities appear to be newsworthy based solely on how little clothing they don.

4- Being seen, either by themselves; with their entourage; or, with other celebrities.

5- Being an activist and taking part in supporting one or more trendy “causes.” Many celebrities have become the public face of their latest cause. Celebrities usually take up causes which are popular among their friends.

Many celebrities mainly come from the worlds of acting; i.e., a world where one pretends to be someone else for money. This is a prime reason so many celebrities are so accomplished at pretending to be JUST LIKE their fans. Pretending to be like one’s fans is an important skill for celebrities.

Maintaining appearances and pretense are also big reasons the opinions of celebrities can change so quickly.

“Artificial” and “pliable” are two qualities of plastic.

They are also qualities of the well-paid opinion-setters we call celebrities.

Just one reason so many celebrities’ lives turn out so differently than their public words would lead their fans to believe.

PRESIDENTIAL NAME GAME

One of Donald Trump’s ancestors changed the family name from Drumpf to Trump, but at least Donald Trump himself did not change his name.

That we know of.

Which reminds this writer of how many presidents (especially of the recent variety) have operated under several different names.

  • Barack Hussein Obama has answered to at least five different names in his lifetime, including Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barack Obama, Barry Dunham and Barack Hussein Obama
  • Bill Clinton was born William Jefferson Blythe.
  • Gerald Ford was born Leslie Lynch King Jr.
  • Ulysses S Grant was born Hiram Ulysses Grant.
  • Dwight David Eisenhower was born David Dwight Eisenhower.

There were three other presidents who dropped their first names or used minor name changes.

Those listed are what are publicly known.

One suspects this is merely the tip of the iceberg.

PRANKS?!?

A disturbing trend is the gross mistreatment of people under the label of “pranks.”

It’s everywhere, one mild example is in the following video:

Watching this video, one doesn’t feel laughter.  Only a sort of sadness for the butt of the numerous “jokes.”

But, as stated, this is mild stuff.  The Internet is awash with people slapping others, hitting others–all in the name of “pranks”–and then laughing for the cameras to illustrate that “It’s a joke. Laugh.  Don’t you have a sense of humor?”

Sometimes the pranked people cry,mostly from hurt or humiliation.

This phenomena didn’t begin this week.  It began 20 years ago when it was noticed that schoolkids would do something anti-social and then offer “I’m only joking” or “I’m just playing.” as a justification for their behavior.

“Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death, Is the man who deceives his neighbor, And says, “I was only joking!”

It’s progressed over the last 20 years and, one suspects, it will progress further.

This institutionalized crude cruelty has been promoted by the media and the culture to the point of producing a generation of sociopaths devoid of empathy or morality.

Sad.

EIGHT YEARS AGO

THE MOVE TO HEBREW ROOTS

Hebrew roots

The world–particularly the world of the churches (the Church of the Tares)–is moving to a false holiness which has as one of  its forerunners, the Hebrew Roots movement.

One sign of this is the number of church folk who take trips to the man-created state of Israel as a public symbol of “ultra spirituality.” Some go so far as to take journeys to Israel every year.

And make no mistake: some do take the trip to Israel for spiritual reasons.  But it is not the spiritual reasons it is publicly presented to be.

This is part of the worldwide movement to swamp Christianity with a return to the Old Covenant–which has been upgraded to the New Covenant.

“In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”
–Hebrews 8:13

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
–2Corinthians 5:17

Hebrew Roots: Restoring the Hebrew roots of the Christian Faith – As in Paul’s day, so in our own.  There will always be those attempting to place believers back under the Old Covenant.

“But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”
—Hebrews 8:6

“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.  For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:”

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
—Galatians 2:16

The Old Covenant was replaced for a reason.

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”
—James 2:10

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”
—Galatians 5;4

“You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.”
—Galatians 5:4 (NASB)

Finally, there is Hebrews 8:13–which should put all of the Hebrews Roots crowd in their proper place.

“In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”

To all of those who believe in the fables of this movement: a few questions.

1- Will God Almighty forget the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, and return to the Old Covenant?

2- Will the veil which was rent from top to bottom be re-sewn and used in a new temple in Jerusalem?

“And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.”
–Mark 15:38

Who or what is behind this movement?

The Bible is clear: it is a group which is the enemy of God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ. However, this group will pretend to be holy and dedicated to God in order to deceive.

It is a group which rejects Jesus and is still looking for a messiah.

It is a group which long ago gave its allegiance to someone other than God Almighty.
