Fall guy is a colloquial phrase that refers to a person to whom blame is deliberately and falsely attributed in order to deflect blame from another party.
An expression which one does not hear much any more is “fall guy.”
Other words for ‘fall guy’ are “sucker” and “patsy.”
But in the times in which we live, a ‘fall guy’ certainly is useful. A ‘fall guy’ is someone who takes the blame for schemes and other plans which go astray. And, more than almost ANYTHING else, end times man desires to have someone to blame.
Enter the fall guy.
Americans at the present moment are exposed to a fall guy almost every day in the media.
Joe Biden seems pleasant enough and he usually smiles while taking the blame for America’s ills.
Though the WORDS of Joe Biden, in effect, proclaim, “I am NOT a fall guy,” Biden’s ACTIONS argue something else completely.
Joe Biden does NOT fit the popular notion of a perfect fall guy, but he’s close enough for government work.
What’s the popular idea of the PERFECT fall guy?
Raymond Chandler had the answer.
“A dead man is the best fall guy in the world. He never talks back.”
The idea that a U.S. president (Joe Biden) is a fall guy is NOT hard to figure.
Biden is blamed (particularly by the media) for INFLATION, when INFLATION has been happening for over ten years.
George W. Bush and Barack Obama started the rising prices train and rode it around for almost all of their terms in office.
But four years after Donald Trump’s (who spent BILLIONS on a wall that is non-existent) term, rising prices are supposedly the sole property of Joe Biden?
Please.
Joe Biden is also blamed for the high gas prices–though when was the last time the reader felt the price of gasoline was reasonable?
Biden is also blamed for American shortcoming in the foreign policy field (Ukraine and Afghanistan), when previous US presidents contributed to those messes.
Fall guys are as American as apple pie because Americans are so concerned with assigning BLAME.
In case the reader was worried for our national fall guy (Joe Biden), he shouldn’t be.
During the last days, it is STRONGLY SUSPECTED there will be a number of fall guys AFTER BIDEN.
There will certainly be enough BLAME to go around–until Jesus returns.
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
