THE FRUSTRATION OF MODERN LIFE

FRUSTRATION

Once upon a time, large corporations addressed the various and sundry problems raised by their products.

Corporations did this because the companies STRONGLY DESIRED the money which was in the pockets of those who complained.  To get this money (and to turn the complainer into a regular customer), companies engaged in what was known as CUSTOMER SERVICE.

But modern life has changed all of this.

NOW, the company does not need customer service or ANY effective mechanism for handling complaints about a product.

NOW, the company has clever little stories about how–for one reason or another–the company’s product is no longer widely available; about how LUCKY the customer is just to have been able to spend his money on the company’s product.

But users still have complaints–whether a company decides to address those shortcomings or not.

And so, ONE of the frustrations of modern life is that while products STILL have flaws and defects, the makers of those products have stopped offering remedies for those defects and flaws.

OF COURSE, the companies which no longer offer customer service would dispute this.  They would point to this metric and that ‘customer service phone line’ to demonstrate that they DO still care about their customers.

BUT–from conversations and personal experiences–the facts argue otherwise.

One financial company set up a ‘customer service’ phone line which required the caller to punch in the number of the financial company’s document.  The voice on the ‘customer service’ phone line ALWAYS informed the caller that the number was incorrect and to try again.  Because the numbers punched in may be recorded by the caller, it was soon noticed that the number the company stated was punched in was ALWAYS one number off what the correct number was.

The exercise this ‘customer service’ phone line provided was fodder for the old maxim, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

JUST ONE of the MANY frustrations one feels about modern life.

ANOTHER frustration is that products ALWAYS seem to be available IF one wants to order the product through the store, pay for the product and then WAIT for the product to be delivered.

Fewer and fewer products it seems, are offered for sale AT THE STORE.

Living in the End Times: The New Retail

BUT if one NEEDS the product IMMEDIATELY for use, then one is largely out of luck–OR one must find that product for sale elsewhere.

ONE OTHER frustration with modern life involves the mis-education of the youth.

Like the weather, the shortcomings of the youth are talked about, but little is done to remedy the ‘problem.’

OF COURSE, this SHOULD prompt the questions, “Who taught today’s youth?  Where are the youth learning these behaviors?”

BUT it doesn’t: the many articles proclaiming the defects of modern youth being MORE interested in the proclamation–rather than the cure.

When one is faced with a youth who is in the workforce BUT who is poorly-trained, then this leads to grumbles and frustrations.

ONE of the biggest frustrations with modern life seems to be that there is NO answer to the problems.

OF COURSE, another of modern life’s frustrations seems to be that the problem itself is NOT addressed.

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

Almost SIX YEARS AGO, ETPR published an article entitled “QUOTES: A Few Thoughts on Voting.”

In that piece, the world’s movers and shakers were featured as they expressed their not-too-complimentary thoughts on VOTING–and those movers and shakers MOSTLY spoke for this writer.

Almost SIX YEARS after that original piece was posted, we now return to the subject of VOTING.

We will start off with a few questions for the reader (who, most probably, still clings tightly to the fable of voting because it makes him feel like he has some control over his life and because a man cannot be a slave if that man picks and chooses the leaders of his country.  Right?).

1- Does the reader supposed that the electorate would have elected the steady parade of losers–particularly over the past 40 years or so–who have played the parts of our country’s ‘leaders’?  Even assuming that the electorate is confused, deceived and terribly against its own interests (as reflected in the actions of the USA’s ‘leaders’ since the mid-1980’s), one would have to presume that the electorate would have gotten it right at least a FEW TIMES in that time span and would have voted for someone who represented the common man.

2- Why do all of the explanations for WHY our ‘leaders’ do the things they do receive HEAVY promotion in the media AFTER those leaders step in it?

3- IF voting really did allow the peons to pick their leaders, why does the reader suppose so many DO NOT VOTE?  Are these people adverse to exercising control over those who tell them what to do?

4- Has the reader ever been told that “If he does not vote, he has no right to complain“?  This is a fairly effective way to stop a  great many non-voters from complaining.

5- When a reader has waxed eloquent about the ‘choice’ he voted for, has he ever been told, “Well, I just cancelled your vote because I voted for the other person“?

SURELY the terribly deceived–who believe they control the levers of power through their trudging to the voting booth and casting their ballot–have to give SOME thought to all of the doubters?

IF the reader spends a little thought on the project, can he come up with a BETTER system for the elites–who imagine they control the world–to announce the ‘winners’ and have the populace widely support those choices?

IF the reader spends a little MORE thought on the matter, can he come up with a BETTER system than having THE MEDIA–which constantly monitors discontent among the citizenry–constantly WRITE about those sources of discontent?  This is true when the media ‘leads the charge’ against a supposed ‘bad’ leader: when the media gets out in front of the discontented and directs that discontent onto a particularly ‘leader.’

It SHOULD be practically SELF-EVIDENT that VOTING is a clever, little story told to those who so desperately want to be part of the system; a story which allows those wannabees (who hunger for power and prestige themselves) to believe they exercise SOME control over the system to which they have willingly ceded CONTROL OVER THEIR LIVES.

Another name for those who focus on regularly writing about politics might be the EXCUSE PRESS.

Another name for those who willingly invest their lives in the pretend world of electoral politics, might be the EXCUSE ELECTORATE.

Prayer cults of the dragon

There is NOTHING Christian about the Word Faith (Sometimes referred to as ‘Word OF Faith’) cults.

These are headed by antichrist deceivers. Much of what they teach is satanic in nature.

Because many are biblically illiterate, they are not only fooled, but fleeced by these wolves.

Word Faith Theology Within Mainstream Evangelicalism

One WF doctrine that’s particularly heinous is known as the “born again Jesus.” Briefly, it holds that Jesus died “spiritually as well as physically,” He “suffered in hell to complete his suffering for our sins,” He also supposedly “took on Satan’s nature,” He “became sin.” was “literally separated from God,” and then “born again in hell.

It was after all of this, goes the WF fable, that Jesus defeated the devil and rose from the dead. By the late 90′s all of this WF doctrine had been uncovered by Christian apologists.

This doctrine makes Jesus a liar when on the cross he declared “It is finished.”

What did Jesus mean when he said “It is finished”?

As regarding Christ’s words, “It is finished”, the word in the Greek is tetelistai and is rendered “to bring to an end” or “paid for in full” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary). What Christ was saying was that the work of redemption (paying for sin and securing salvation) was complete. If Christ did anything else beyond “It is finished,” in order to pay for sin, something is added to His completed work. This is what the Word-Faith teachers have done when they teach that salvation was completed in hell, after Christ died on the cross!

Word Faith has become so prevalent in evangelicalism, many times it’s not even recognized as such. Because it’s clothed in Christian terms, it’s held up and exalted AS IF it were biblical.

Like leaven, it’s been explosive in its growth.

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

It is as Jesus warned in Matthew 10:34-36. And so today, there are two fault lines which run through the apostate American churches.

One of these lines separates a great mass of those who call themselves Christians from the obvious heresies: the wolves prowling TBN, the prosperity gospel hucksters, the Luciferian cults, the Emergent Church superstars, the Vatican, the other gospel carnival barkers, the purpose-driven sensitive seekers and the blatantly occult/New Age teachings served up by the Christian mass media.

This line is fairly bright and is easily recognizable. Though there are many sitting in pews and manning the pulpits who are blind to these false teachers, a large segment of church-goers are wise enough to see these obvious dangers.

The other line separates a much smaller portion of those who inhabit the churches who recognize the rampant heresies which are already inside the Church: the occult imagery in the songs, the pagan practices masquerading as biblical, the overt mysticism and abandonment to experience-based religion, the headlong flight to Hebrew fables, the overt rituals of witchcraft, the blatant appeals to emotion, the vain repetitions of antichrist incantations, the steady drip-drip-drip of teachings which prepare for the coming of the One World Church.

Because these heresies are somewhat less obvious, it is this second, less-noticed fault line which sets a man’s household against him.

Many of these occult, antichrist practices are sanctified, not by God’s Word, but by way of being performed by their defenders.

Apostate American Church: Sanctification through Participation

Judging by the many comments on Christian forums and websites, the defenders of this noxious hot mess are vociferous and self-justified.

Make no mistake: the time is fast approaching when the betrayals–which today may only be social–will be to the death.

The spirit of antichrist is comfortably lodged in many American churches in 2014; proud as a peacock and dressed in its Sunday best–-though many who sit in churches today don’t really think of pride as a sin, but rather something to be trumpeted and proclaimed.

Meanwhile, the bands of Psalm 2 are literally being broken before our very eyes–and many in the Church are celebrating the unshackling.

One thoroughly modern notion is that man has to LAUGH in order to keep from crying.

This idea has been expressed, not only in a popular, often-repeated quote by a voice actor, but as the title for a play by well-known actor/comedian Tyler Perry.

The idea has also appeared as the title to an early SONG by the singer MADONNA.

ALL of which reminds of something posited by world-renowned MADMAN DICTATOR, Adolf Hitler.

The idea has ALSO been used as a sort of remedy for how to deal with what’s wrong with our political system.

IN FACT, the notion that one must ‘laugh to keep from crying’ and the woes of the American political system are so intertwined, it prompts a question.

“Is there ANY other field of endeavor so crooked and bereft of hope of it being corrected that the observer is regularly advised to ‘laugh so he won’t cry’?”

Although ‘laugh to keep from crying’ is often offered as a CURE or WAY TO DEAL with the mind-numbing unpleasantries of a system of control, a little thought on the matter prompts a SECOND question.

“Is it?”

How frustrating do problems have to be for the reader to abandon all hope of FIXING those problems and just LAUGH about them instead?

A GREAT MANY modern multi-national companies have adopted this as their CUSTOMER SERVICE directive.

“You have to laugh to keep from crying.”

The idea is an admission of DEFEAT, but it is–through the wonders of repetition–sold as a TRIUMPH of mirth over matter: that one may ‘rise above’ the frustrating disappointments which regularly annoy ALL who turn to a system for help by LAUGHING at those disappointments.

Largely forgotten in this discussion is the idea that LAUGHTER is often regularly expressed by the INSANE.

The preceding is just a little something the reader MAY want to keep in mind the next time the reader is advised to LAUGH at the shortcomings of something.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.

MEDIA COVERAGE OF MIDDLE EAST CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION AND FEAR

Why the Media doesn’t cover the Jihadist attacks on Middle East Christians – Ahh, but the media does cover the persecution of Middle Eastern Christians.

IN FACT, this ramped-up coverage of a group of people the Corporate Media abhors was the recent topic of discussion.

Is the increased coverage over the last year or so because the media loves Christians and wants to warn them?

What is the reason for the noticeable increase in coverage–especially among the Alternate Corporate Media?

Maybe it can be summed up in one word: “fear.”

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
—2 Timothy 1:7

The thought that they may be called to suffer persecution for the name of Christ absolutely terrifies a significant portion of American church-goers. This fear is already at work.

Many American “Christians“–whether they admit it or not–are motivated by fear of what they may have to face.

One can sympathize: after years of being reassured that they were special, that they would never have to face what the Bible assures believers they “shall” have to face, they are beginning to get nervous. Certain doctrines which were labeled “heresies” 50 years ago are looking very attractive to those scared church folk right about now.

Consequently, the media will play upon these fears and stoke them.

In the meantime, the media will regale Americans with a steady stream of horror stories about Christian persecution around the globe. This is not to say that these events are not happening: they are. But the question remains: why has the Corporate Media suddenly become so faithful in making sure that Americans know about these events?

At the appropriate time, Americans sitting in the pews of th churches will be reminded of these fears. Because they haven’t had a love of the truth, many will convince themselves to walk a path they shouldn’t. Their flesh will remember the many media stories of the horrors of persecution and will whisper anything in their ears in order to avoid that unpleasantness.

MODERN DAY STORYTELLERS

Primitive man may have sat around the campfire while witch doctors, shamans and priests of false religions told stories of why and how things were the way things were.

Modern man has certainly advanced: he has no need of campfires.

Modern man sits around the television, computer or cellphone while digital talking heads (usually of men in white lab coats) fill his brain full of stories to explain why and how things are the way things are.

Over the past 100 years, the world has been taught a very different version of good and evil.

This New! Improved! version of good and bad has been provided, courtesy of Hollywood and its movies.

This new iteration of morality is highly conditional. That is, it all depends on which side is doing what as to whether an action or behavior is classified as good or evil.

In the movies, the “good guys” very often steal, lie and kill. BUT such actions are perfectly acceptable because they are committed by the “good guys.”

IF the “bad guys” are guilty of the SAME behavior, such actions are evil because they are committed by the “bad guys.”

Thus, most action-type movies set up two groups who commit crimes on film.

BUT only one side’s behavior is unacceptable because they represent the “bad guys.”

This deceptive thinking has gotten to such a point that–beginning around the 1960s–Hollywood movies regularly featured often-brutal anti-heroes; that is, these central movie figures display criminal actions, but because they are featured against villains who commit even viler crimes, the behavior of the anti-hero becomes perfectly acceptable in movie morality.

In such a way, the world is “nudged” away from the commands and precepts of God’s Word.

This is one reason the world is in the state it is in today.

It is also one reason that the situation will NOT improve.

It will only get worse.
