“Coincidence is the word we use when we can’t see the levers and pulleys.”
One day we will know all.
But that day is NOT today.
A great many people one sees walking around every day are deceived about the world in which they live and which they BELIEVE they know how that world works.
These desperately-deceived folk know how the world works BECAUSE the world has told them how it works.
And so, on the day when we know all, a GREAT MANY people will be astounded to learn that they have been deceived about how the world works.
One of the areas which those deceived people will (too late!) discover the ACTUAL FACTS about their deception is the incredible amounts of planning and hard work which goes into making so many events appear to be random and chance happenings.
BEFORE humans arrive at that day when they know all, a great many calamities will unfold.
Some of those calamities will be unleashed by man–though the deceived would vehemently argue against that point–and some of those calamities will be unleashed by an ANGRY God.
“Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.”
In case some readers did not fully understand Isaiah 13:6, here’s another.
“For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.”
BUT NOT TO STRAY TOO FAR FROM THE MAIN TOPIC OF THIS PIECE: Events which APPEAR to be random, chance happenstance are often the result of long months (years?) of planning and LOTS of scurrying and work behind the scenes where others cannot see.
Just one more friendly reminder for ANY who are watching.
WHAT does the reader believe about coincidence and ‘chance accidents’?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
