THE END TIMES’ EVENTS ARE INEVITABLE AND CERTAIN TO OCCUR, WHETHER ONE BELIEVES IT OR NOT

A saying quite popular with the world goes something like, “Nothing is certain but death and taxes.”

DEATH and TAXES DO have a way of bearing down on all–especially those who try and escape the grasp of either.

BUT one additional set of circumstance which is CERTAIN to happen is outlined in God’s Word–and so, the events of the end times’ last days are inevitable.

Whether the reader chooses to believe those inevitabilities will occur or not.

A GREAT NUMBER insist they do NOT believe in the events of the last days, as recorded in God’s Word.

As has been recorded in these pages before, God KNOWS for certain what is to happen because God inhabits EVERY point in time, past, present and future.  The events of the future are as well-known to God as what the reader had for breakfast yesterday.

This is a hard point to wrap one’s head around–particularly for the UNbelievers.

HOWEVER, from conversations with many of those who loudly profess UNbelief in the events of the last days, a sizable amounts of those doubters may be more guilty of whistling past the graveyard than possessing a set-in-stone credo on this matter.

[IF the reader wants a good overview of the various end times events, he might refer to the Book of Revelation (chapters 1-22).]

Many of those who claim the loudest that they do NOT believe in any of that ‘end times stuff,’ know that something is not right.  They mostly do not know what it is that is not right, but they can see the telltale signs EVERYWHERE they look.

This does not stop such folk from claiming that ONLY the weak-minded believes God’s Word, but it appears that a number of such folk are constantly looking around and trying to figure out what it is that is causing them such uneasiness.

There was a lady a few days ago in a local Walmart who was loudly complaining about the Walmart services offered by the Walmart employees. This particular Walmart no longer accepts cash for any of its transactions–except for a VERY FEW cash register lines which are ALWAYS backed up with customers. Because this store no longer accepts cash, it creates slowdowns and other problems–about which many customers complain–the lady being just one of many in this particular Walmart.

God’s Word mentions that retail will CHANGE during the end times.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
–Revelation 13:16-17

There are a NUMBER of methods Satan may use to control buying and selling, but getting rid of cash appears to be a necessary first step down this slippery path.

The Walmart employees respond to all complaints on this matter with the excuse that “they cannot get change, so they are doing away with most cash transactions.”

BUT, this particular Walmart had quit taking cash MONTHS before the ‘can’t get any change’ story made its appearance. In fact, on the day this change occurred, Walmart employees were outside the store, meeting incoming customers and LOUDLY informing them that the store would no longer accept cash at its automated checkout stations.

Instead of reasonable discussions which examine the link between getting rid of most cash transactions and the coming control of buying and selling, the complainers usually crack a small smile when God’s Word is mentioned.

As one lady put it, “Let’s not get all tied down with the Bible, okay?”

ALL of these CHANGES to the way man has conducted his affairs of business for CENTURIES should cause anxiety in the ones who most desire their days to be anxiety-free.

But those who most desire that their lives are lived anxiety-free usually have developed effective defenses to any news which causes them to fret.

STILL, such folk appear to not be able to completely control their fears–and so, they look around for reasons why the times are SO anxious.

IF the reader is interested, ALL of this (the looking around, the search for answers, the continued fulfilling of God’s Word, the unbelief that God’s Word might be true) will continue until the return of Jesus Christ.

One of the staples of the false churches are the events known as “revivals.”

These public mockeries of the Bible do not feature the gospel.

However, most of the church folk who attend cannot know if these sideshows feature the gospel of Jesus Christ or not: they do not know what the gospel is.

These public spectacles feature music, loud preaching and lots of fake conversions.

Sometimes (depending upon the revival preacher) they also feature counterfeit healings.

IF the reader wants to know the truth, he can.  All one has to do is attend a few of these public shows and keep track of the lack of preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Too bad so few show any such initiative.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

LIFE CONTINUES ON: LIFE DOES NOT STOP DURING THE LAST DAYS

Recently, it was noticed HOW MANY people–down through the years–describe what goes on in their life during the last days AS THOUGH THAT LIFE HAD COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND DIVORCED ITSELF FROM THE END TIME WORLD.

This was even remarked upon a few times over the years–although it seems that remarking on the treatment did NOT change the way those people described their lives during the end times.

Some thought was devoted to WHY IT WAS that some people seemed to divorce their lives from the events which occurred during the last days. Even though SIGNIFICANT amounts of thought were devoted to this project, NOTHING concrete was ever decided.

Although one man–when the phenomenon was pointed out to him–offered (rather cryptically) that “The end times and last days are a very special time.”

One other time, the circumstance was discussed with an UNbelieving acquaintance, who put forth the notion that “Perhaps it’s because they think of the last days as SEPARATE from the rest of their life?”

At one time, this writer thought that maybe this guy was onto something,  But, after a consultation with God’s Word, it was decided that there were NO instances where people during the last days allowed their lives to come to a complete halt as they enjoyed the ambiance of the last days.

So, why do many people feel that their lives will come to a screeching halt during the time when God delivers His wrath to a disobedient and rebellious creation?

Despite much thought invested in answering this question, no clear answer has ever been ascertained.

Yes, the accounts in God’s Word of this last days are filled with events which have NEVER BEFORE happened upon the earth.

However, NOT ONLY are humans  VERY accomplished at ‘rolling with the punches‘ during such happenings: MOST men are PROUD of this ability to adapt to adverse conditions–and are NOT shy at letting others know of their “ability.”

The accounts of the last days (taken from God’s Word, specifically, the Book of Revelation) portray man as going about his business during the last days while judgment falls on the earth and its inhabitants.

EXCEPT for the very clear exception of the Battle of Armageddon, life does not stop while this judgment is occurring.  And even during the Battle of Armageddon, most of the world is NOT present and gets its news of the conflict (it is assumed) in the same, second-hand ways it does now.

During the Battle of Armageddon (where a returning Jesus Christ battles Satan and his man of sin and the kings of the earth and their armies), life only stops for a while for those directly involved in the fighting.

PERHAPS the reader has some sort of explanation which, not only make sense, but satisfies the restrictions of the accounts in God’s Word?

‘LIKE THE WORDS WERE BOUNCING OFF THE SIDES OF MY HEAD’

A few days ago, a conversation was held.

The conversation started innocently enough: it began when someone mentioned the sheer amount of POISON contained in popular soft drinks and other foods Americans are busy stuffing their faces with.

“I drink a few Diet Dr. Peppers a week.  I USED TO drink a LOT more, but then I started paying attention to what was actually in the soft drinks I was buying. It came out a few years ago that India uses Pepsi and Coke as BUG KILLERS.  They’ve been trying to walk that story back ever since.”

“And this made you cut way back on your drink usage?”

“Oh yeah!”

The conversation THEN veered sharply into deception and modern man’s reaction to various popular deceptions.

“That sounds a LOT like me.  I used to drink diet drinks by the GALLONS every day.  After a few years, you would think I would have noticed that I NEVER lost any weight drinking all of those DIET drinks.  But noooo!”

“I never thought of that.”

I KNEW of all of the chemicals put into what I was drinking.  BUT IT DIDN’T MATTER TO ME.  I thought I just didn’t care, but I was deceived about the entire episode.”

“Deceived, huh?”

“Yeah, it was like the words were bouncing off the sides of my head: the warnings just did NOT matter.”

“And you think this was because of deception?”

Oh yeah.  The day I stopped being deceived was the day I drank my LAST diet soft drink.  Haven’t had one since.”

“Well, SOMETHING made you change.  I’ve never seen you drink a pop, diet or not.”

“I did have a root beer a few years ago.  For the taste of it.  It was okay.”

“So you’re saying that IF I was not deceived, I would quit drinking pop?”

“Yep.  That’s EXACTLY what I’m saying.”

“WHY?”

“Because if you’re NOT deceived, I think it matters that you are poisoning yourself.”

And that’s how that little conversation about soft drinks and deception went.

MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
