God’s Word warns that hard times are coming.
Hard times are coming for those who disregard God’s Word.
“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.”
–Isaiah 13:9
But hard times are coming for EVERYONE, no matter whether they follow Jesus Christ or not.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
–2TIMOTHY 3:1
The last days are a time when God avenges ALL afflictions and sufferings doled out to His followers by other men.
“For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.”
–Jeremiah 46:10
While God will avenge Himself of His enemies, believers will suffer hurt and harm at the hands of other, wicked and foolish men during this time.
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
–Revelation 6:9-11
BUT, through all of the chaos and confusion and calamity, followers of God and His Son, Jesus Christ have ONE resource which is denied to all others.
“And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods. But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.”
–2KINGS 17:38-39
Even the world–which is full of the brave words of men who disdain God Almighty–can see that hard times are coming.

And so, man (believer and UNbeliever alike) will wait for the last days when God judgment fills the air.
The wicked have God to thank for their discomfort; the righteous have other, wicked men to thank for their’s.
Again, hard times are coming.
Hard times are a certainty.
There doesn’t seem to be much disagreement on whether or not hard times are coming.
The BIG POINT of disagreement on the topic appears to be what man can best do to survive those hard times–IF man is able to survive at all.
A MINOR POINT of disagreement on the topic appears to be WHEN the hard times will get underway in earnest.
A choice MUST be made: the reader can EITHER trust God–in whom many do NOT believe–or trust man (other men or himself).
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
–Psalm 146:3
“Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.”
–Psalm 40:4
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
–Psalm 118:8
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
–Proverbs 29:25
Has the reader made any preparations for those coming hard times?
DOES the reader believe that hard times are coming?
WHY or WHY NOT?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
