“God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.”
–Nahum 1:2
Presently, almost EVERYTHING one hears of God is that “God is Love.”
Which is TRUE: God IS love.
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
–1JOHN 4:8
According to God’s Word–which is 100 percent TRUTH–God is love.
So, God MUST BE love–and He is.
But, God is so much more.
God is the PERFECT ‘balancing act.’
God is love–BUT, God is also wrath, judgment and vengeance to all those who disdain God.
Man gets himself in trouble because when man focuses on ‘love,’ he forgets about ‘judgment.’ Man is NOT equipped to balance things as finely as God does.
When a person concentrates on “God is love,” he most likely thinks of God AS IF God was a man.
God is NOT a man, with man’s drawbacks, defects and weaknesses.
When a person concentrates on “God is love,” he is looking at God AS IF God was a cuddly chew toy.
God is NOT a cuddly chew toy: God is a PERFECT judge, judging PERFECTLY–which sometimes means judging what may appear to be harshly, to the under-informed.
There is a reason the world wants those who dwell upon the earth to believe that “God is love”–to the exclusion of every other attribute or characteristic of God.
And it is an end times reason.
DOES the reader have any thoughts on what that reason could possibly be?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
