And so it was that, not long ago, driving along on a sunny day, a car with its two passengers motored past a cemetery which featured a HUGE mausoleum on a hill by the roadside.

Warning

The end times are a time of warning.

“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

However, when EVERY word is one of warning or doom, then it doesn’t take long before many people will turn the channel.

Or IGNORE it completely.

In the times in which we live, words of warning are surely needed. But that doesn’t mean that warnings are the only words needed. Comfort, exhortation, edification and encouragement are also important no matter the season in which the Christian should find himself.

When every word is one of impending disaster, then it only takes one false warning about a non-event and the credibility plunges.

As it should.

There are plenty of events to occupy the attention of believers, but there is also much work to be done before Jesus returns.

Believers are to occupy: staying busy doing kingdom work until the King returns.

The world has many voices who are also warning these days. These warnings are mainly to generate fear, both for profit as well as other ends.

One of those ends is that it’s easier to herd a population of scared people than it is a population that wants to think things over.

Therefore, one strategy is to keep the population scared.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

One important question each reader will need to ask: Is the reader responding to a fear of man (which is a trap) or a fear of the LORD (which is prudent)?

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

COMMEMORATING THE LAST DAYS?

REMEMBRANCE

Every once in a while, a person will encounter a question which is UNIQUE.

The question–which was NOT particularly noteworthy and was rather run-of-the-mill–stood out because it was the FIRST TIME such a question had been asked–at least that this writer was aware.

“You talk a lot about the end times. Are you going to be celebrating when they finally get here?”

At first, the question provoked a response which CLARIFIED the question.

“You must mean THE LAST DAYS.”

And then, the question itself was addressed.

“Celebrating? Nah, I don’t think so. What’s to celebrate?”

“You think Jesus is coming back. Aren’t you going to celebrate that?”

“Well, the Bible says that there will be times when the occasion is celebrated. But that is AFTER the last days…when Jesus is actually back on earth and in control of things.”

“And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”

“So you WON’T be marking that time as something special?”

“Well, no–at least I don’t think so. I think that all believers will be sorry that so many others–who may have been “nice” or “helpful” or “friendly”–end up in the lake of fire. That’s kinda sobering.”

“After all of the grief you’ve suffered, there wouldn’t be the least urge to say “I told you so”? “

And that pretty much ended that conversation which had begun with a question which was quite UNIQUE.

FOUR YEARS AGO

UNEASE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE!™

The question one should be asking: “How long until the stories told to the public unravel so badly few will believe them?”

America should be more at ease than this – All too true–IF the reader believes the happy happy joy joy talk about the economy, about the state of life, about most everything.

We live in a country where the economy is booming (or so say the media)–but no one can afford to buy what they need.

We live in a country where the unemployment rate is the LOWEST EVER!–but few are working.

We live in a country where the wonderful reality presented through the media differs a great deal from the everyday reality which confronts most Americans.

Ultimately, that’s what it all boils down to: the carefully-constructed canned, plastic reality presented by the government/media/entertainment VS. an actual reality where many Americans buy lottery tickets to give themselves some type of hope while constantly rolling gutter balls in their everyday game of life.

Kinda like what the country experienced in the 1960’s after watching all of those 1950s TV sitcoms.

THE EVIDENCE OF UNBELIEVERS vs. THE PROOF OF THE BELIEVER

EVIDENCE

There are men who place the HIGHEST value on the products of the human mind.

There are men who place a HIGH value on human reason, human logic and human observation.

These hold that human reason and observation must form the foundation of man’s philosophies.

That Biblical revelations and declarations are of NO value, as far as determining the important points of life.

BUT, those who place such a high value on man’s reasoning have a number of problems with which to contend.

Never mind that reason, observation and logic are all based on information which can be CONTROLLED by other men.

So, it is quite possible that many who consider themselves as “free thinkers” are manipulated and controlled by others.

IF a man never is exposed to anything from God, then that man is quite likely to mistakenly craft his beliefs based on his LIMITED exposure to Godly proofs.

Though a human’s mind might be thought of as “powerful” IF compared to the lower animals or other humans, the human mind has a difficult time understanding a great number of things.

Particularly, concepts.

Which is one of the reasons why man–who has a beginning and end–has such a hard time explaining a God who has NEITHER.

Which is why man–who struggles through a life decidedly NOT holy–has such trouble discussing a HOLY God.

Among those who had a quite high opinion of man’s mind was the French philosopher and writer, François-Marie Arouet, who went by his better-known name of Voltaire.

“The human brain is a complex organ with the wonderful power of enabling man to find reasons for continuing to believe whatever it is that he wants to believe.”

“No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thinking.”

“The true triumph of reason is that it enables us to get along with those who do not possess it.”

It was while scanning a collection of quotes by Voltaire that it became apparent that the evidence of unbelievers lacks the proof of the believer.

When a man examines something with his natural senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell) he limits the amount and type of information he might uncover.

Such a man, using such sensory inputs, often uncovers nothing more than nonsense–especially if that man is examining certain types of information.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

A believer will NOT limit his informational inputs. The believer will then take advantage of ALL information gained.

This is the proof of the believer.

By limiting his information to all which may be discerned NATURALLY (by sensory inputs), a man LIMITS what can be known spiritually.

So, those who place the highest value on the human mind, LIMIT what information that mind might receive.

Such men THEN make their judgments based on the LIMITATIONS they imposed upon their own mental resources.

It is such men who label those who receive ALL information as “primitive” or “primitive thinkers.”

THE TALL TALE OF THE RELUCTANT POLITICIAN

Has the reader heard the one about the politician who refused the opportunity to grab power, money and attention?

Media tries to create uncertainty about Hillary running

Speaking of creatures manufactured by the Corporate Media, probably the most unconvincing media creation is the “reluctant politician.”

This is the crass and craven politician, who lives for power; who hungers for attention and the limelight like other humans hunger for food. A politician who might not hunger for power, money and fame is a creature of make-believe, who is put together by the media in order for Americans to believe that there is a politician who “has to be talked into running” or “has to be coaxed into taking the reins of power.”

Hollywood has long created these humans who don’t exist to further the plots in their movies and the Corporate Media is the originator of story lines.

One of Hollywood’s favorite fictional persons is the “whore with a heart of gold.” It is a variation of many of the same story lines written about politicians. These selfless politicians, only concerned with the welfare of their country, were most usually played by Jimmy Stewart.

Most often, media stories about the Reluctant Politician are usually told right before said politician makes another naked grab for power, money or attention.

SIX YEARS AGO

THE FORKED TONGUE OF NASA

One would think that trusting an agency which displays a serpent’s tongue in its logo might be showing a lack of wisdom.

NASA is one of the world’s leaders in the production of creative stories.

Obama’s NASA has no chance of putting a human on Mars – If the NASA of George Bush admitted on their website that it did not possess the technology to put a man on the moon, one wonders how the NASA of Barack Obama would be able to put a man on Mars?

However, any American who listens to the mad pronouncements of our “space agency” is probably beyond the arguments of logic, reason or history.

Such Americans have a “magic wand.”

It is called the “magic wand of conspiracy theorists.”

Whenever an argument appears for which they have no answer, they wave their “conspiracy theorist” wand and they imagine that the argument disappears!

Such people many times say they do not trust the government, yet they fully trust the government’s version of how things came to be.

Such people many times say they do not trust the Corporate Media, yet they fully trust the Corporate Media’s version of how things came to be.

Odd.

NINE YEARS AGO

THE BASIC PROBLEM OF THE TRANSGENDERED FABLE

Problem

Regardless of the GREAT CREATIVITY with which the fable of transgenderism is told; regardless of HOW MANY TIMES that fable is told; regardless of how DRAMATICALLY the details are related: there is a fundamental problem with the fable of transgendered individuals which will NOT go away.

Basically, transgenderism is still a fable.

Suppose one goes to the grocery store and purchases a banana.

After arriving home, one can decide to call the banana an “apple.”

One can pretend that the banana is an apple.

One can put a label on the banana that says “apple.”

When one’s neighbor comes to one’s house and asks about the banana, one can vehemently insist that the banana is an apple.

The sincerity of the one claiming the banana is an apple might be unquestioned.

In fact, it might even be claimed that one believes with one’s whole being that the apple is a banana.

In addition, one can take a marker and write “apple” on the banana skin.

One can even cut an apple and adorn the banana with the apple peels.

But at the end of the day, no matter what one does, the banana is still a banana.

In this case, the reality of a banana seems to trump the persistence and creativity of the person desiring the banana to be an apple.

How hateful is that?
