MANY are those who feel they are “beating the system” by consulting familiar or demonic spirits.
FEW are those who KNOW better.
The FEW are those who BELIEVE God’s Word to be TRUE.
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12
On one side are the trinkets and parlor games which those who consult demonic spirits reap; on the other side are the very clear promises of God to ALL who resist such blandishments.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
–Luke 10:19
“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
–Romans 16:20
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”
–Matthew 10:1
“And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits”
–Mark 6:7
Yes, some of the accounts are what Jesus said to the original twelve disciples. BUT, those promises were the first ones made for generations of followers of Jesus Christ.
On one side are ALL who consult with illegitimate supernatural power.

On the other side are all of those who, down through the centuries, have stood on the very clear promises of God.
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
–Ephesians 6:11-13
The world has taken to promoting the demonic (devils) by the unfulfilled promise of FUN!
Believers know that such promises are come-ons for those who traffic in self-destruction.
WHICH side is the reader on?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
