MANY Americans celebrate the day the United States of America first became a country on July 4th.
Unlike most things, Americans are STILL celebrating Independence Day 246 years after the event occurred.
And how do Americans celebrate?
By shooting off fireworks (mostly illegal), meeting and eating at picnics and bar-b-ques, and taking the day off of work.
Those who have placed their faith for the future in the strength and longevity of the USA, are most likely hesitating a bit during the 2022 celebration. To many folks, the USA doesn’t look as strong, as vibrant, as long-lasting as it previously might have appeared.
Those who have placed their faith and hopes for the future on the USA might want to hedge their bets this year.
But regardless of any misgivings on the part of some Americans, July Fourth (Independence Day) 2022 is only a few days away.
And that means MOST Americans will be using the day to celebrate those events which supposedly happened in America’s past.
Each iteration of July Fourth is also useful as a point to evaluate the state of the USA.
Is the United States in BETTER or WORSE shape than it was last year?
