The Deceived Would Have Access To More Infallible Proofs IF They Were NOT Deceived

“The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God”
–Acts 1:1-3

Jesus Christ used, what Scripture calls, ‘many infallible proofs’ to convince skeptics of his resurrection.

These ‘many infallible proofs’ are PROOF OR EVIDENCE FAR BEYOND WHAT IS NORMALLY USED TO CONVINCE SOMEONE WHO IS SKEPTICAL.

Once one becomes a believer (a committed follower of Jesus Christ), one is given–what Scripture calls–‘MANY INFALLIBLE PROOFS.’

This is proof and evidence FAR beyond what normal men consider to be convincing proof or evidence when one is pondering a perplexing problem.

So, NOT ONLY does the follower of Jesus have FAITH–which is the “the evidence of things not seen“–the follower of Jesus ALSO has PHYSICAL and/or metaphysical evidence of what God has declared about His Son.

Together, these several types of evidence form an unshakable foundation of truth–which is why so many willingly give their lives as witnesses (martyrs) for Jesus.

NOW, the wicked, evil and foolish do NOT have any of these evidences.

But would it matter?

IF the unbeliever had ‘infallible proofs,‘ would he not try to ‘explain them’ away?

FOR, IF the UNbeliever had infallible proofs–and he referred to them as evidence–he would no longer be an UNbeliever.

Having access to the evidence which is plain to see and which abounds is a function of belief.

The UNbeliever lacks this evidence because the UNbeliever does NOT believe, but is DECEIVED.

HOWEVER, once the stranglehold of deceit is broken, then infallible proof become MUCH easier for the former UNbeliever to access.

In this manner do many former UNbelievers become ZEALOUS believing followers of Jesus Christ.

DOES the reader believe his future is set in stone–either for good or for bad?

It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
