The Last Word In the Bible

LAST WORD

During the past couple of weeks, someone posed a question which had been seen and heard before–and therefore, the answer was already known.

BUT, there are apparently a GREAT MANY people who do NOT know the truth and the answer is a novelty to them.

The question?

“What’s the last word in the Bible?”

The answer to the question is easily enough ascertained: just look it up in a Bible (preferably a King James Version (KJV)).

The answer makes all the sense in the world IF one is a church-goer–where the word is repeated many times during a church service.

The answer may be found in the last verse of the last chapter of the last book in the Bible.

What is the answer?

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
–Revelation 22:21

So, the answer is “Amen.”

Amen” usually means “so be it” and is an almost universal sign of agreement with whatever had been said or written before the word is spoken/written.

AMEN

–At the end of religious prayersso be it.

–an expression of strong agreement

So, the very last word in the Bible is “Amen.”

Makes sense.

[NOTE: For the reader’s information: The last word in the Old Testament is “CURSE.”

From Malachi 4:5-6

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”]

DID the reader ever wonder (OR did he know) what the last word in the Bible was?

DOES it ‘make sense’ that the last word is AMEN?

It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
