THE APOSTLE PAUL’S WARNING
In the third chapter of Paul’s epistle to the Philippians, the apostle put forth (to the readers) a threefold warning.
“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.”
–Philippians 3:2
Although those words may sound a bit odd today, in Paul’s time, they were understood by his listeners.
Here is the way one commentator put it YEARS AGO.
Philippians 3:2 Php 3:2
Beware of dogs, So the Jews, by way of contempt, used to style all heathens: and now, as a just return for their contentions and obstinate opposition to the true religion, the Apostles, St. Paul and St. John, retort it upon themselves. See Re 22:15; Ps 22:16. Pyle.
Perhaps the unbelieving Jews are called “dogs,” to signify that in the sight of God they were now become as abominable for crucifying Christ and persecuting his Apostles, as the idolatrous heathens were in the sight of the Jews. In Re 22:15 the atrociously wicked are called “dogs.” Dr. Macknight.

— beware of the concision, By this name St. Paul calls the Jewish teachers, who were not only circumcised themselves, but now, after the coming of Christ, taught that the outward circumcision of the flesh was necessary to salvation, whilst they were at the same time destitute of the circumcision of the heart. Beware the concision.
Back in the day, ‘concision’ almost EXCLUSIVELY had to do with ‘circumcision’ and the way false Jews came to view that rite as an automatic way of life–INSTEAD of it being a part of a covenant which had been updated by Christ’s resurrection.
The MODERN definition of ‘concision’ MOSTLY has to do with being CONCISE.
Paul’s warning was to his church to watch out for those who claimed to be Jews because they had the OUTWARD sign of circumcision of the flesh.
He called this cutting of the flesh “the concision” and likened it to those parts of the law which forbid ‘cuttings of the flesh.’
Such as tattoos and the like.
ALL of this is what Paul was referring to when he warned to “Beware of the concision” in Philippians 3:2.

THE OLYMPICS AND RELIGION
Olympic Games’ roots are steeped in religion
They absolutely are.
Pagan religious roots.
The ancient Olympic games honored a host of pagan gods–which the Bible tells us are demonic.

Which brings us to the well-promoted difficulties the Rio Olympics have had. With any crisis, there will be voices in the media offering suggestions.
Purely because they want to help and do good, you understand.
Some of those voices are suggesting a permanent home for the Olympic Games. Some are suggesting perhaps a consortium of nations would do a better job.
Perhaps the Olympic Games might even become the World Games, helping to unify the world through the ultra-pure medium of sports?
A world pagan sports spectacle for a pagan world.
Perhaps that is where this particular path leads?

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

THE ROMAN ROAD TO SALVATION vs THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
A few days ago, a SHORT but INTERESTING discussion was entertained about the topic of “eternal salvation.”
When the subject turned to the ‘mercy (grace) of God,’ THEN the discussion revealed a few interesting points.
When it was pointed out that NO ONE is saved without the mercy (grace) of the LORD, the other person in the discussion quickly referenced a (man-made) tool called “The Roman Road to Salvation.”
The Roman Road (as it is many times called) is compiled from some verses found in the Book of Romans.
This reference was held up as being contradictory to what was claimed as “NO ONE is saved without the mercy of God.”
The discussion then came to a quick end as the other person promised to “study the matter and get back to you.”
AFTER looking into the matter of the ‘Roman Road to Salvation’ vs the gospel of Jesus Christ, several points became apparent.
We now present FIVE of those points.
1- God’s Word has MANY scriptural references to the gospel (good news) of Jesus.
IN FACT, Jesus Himself commanded:
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
–Mark 16:15
The Bible is silent about the Roman Road.
2- God’s Word promises that it is the gospel which is the power of God unto salvation, NOT the Roman Road.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
3- While the Roman Road DOES mention Jesus several times during its presentation, Jesus is NOT the focal point as He is during the presentation of the gospel.
Believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and be eternally saved.
Do NOT believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and be eternally damned.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

Believe the Roman Road to Salvation and perhaps be saved eternally.
Do NOT believe the Roman Road to Salvation and one is no worse off than he was before.
4- The Roman Road, like its accomplices (whatever their names), seems to place a great emphasis on ‘making a decision for Christ.’
This feeds man’s desire to be the center of all attention–even during eternal salvation.
God’s Word says that the decisions of man have very little to do with where that man will spend his eternity.
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.“

5- The Roman Road to Salvation would seem to be a perfectly acceptable SUPPLEMENT to the gospel, NOT a SUBSTITUTE FOR the gospel.
As many (particularly, in the churches) would have it to be.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. HOW OFTEN SHOULD ONE PRAY?
ALWAYS BE PRAYING
Some pray at night.
Some pray in the morning.
Some pray before meals.
The Bible is not silent about HOW OFTEN to pray.
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”

From the above references, it can seen that the VERY BEST PRAYER is the one which is CONSTANT and NEVER-ENDING.
It may be interrupted from time-to-time by the day’s activities and events, but it is one, long continuous prayer and unceasing paean to God Almighty.
It is a continuing communication/lifeline with the only One who keeps us in this hard, wicked world.
