As One Ages, One’s Self-Image Usually Declines

AGING

No matter how sad it may make SOME people feel, it is a fact of life that humans are born, they then grow older from the time they come into the world and then they die.

And man does NOT have a lot of options in this scenario.

Man either dies of a dread disease OR man dies from trauma OR man dies of old age.

A FEW of the MOST selfish of mankind die from self-inflicted trauma.

And that’s that.

There are no “Get Out of Life” FREE cards.

There are no second chances.

There is only death–and judgment–awaiting each man at the end of his appointed time.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”
–Hebrews 9:27

And ANOTHER fact of life: man’s self-image suffers the older he grows.

As skin grows harder and wrinkles increase and gravity works its ways upon those parts of man which previously seemingly defied its effects, man comes face-to-face with an aging body which no longer much resembles that of his youth.

It becomes MUCH harder to lie to yourself about how attractive you are when the evidence of your true state is seen in your reflection.

THEREFORE: in order to combat these sinking self-images brought about MOSTLY by aging, today we reveal a little secret.

IF ONE WANTS TO ENJOY A LIFETIME OF IMPROVED SELF-IMAGE, ONE SHOULD IMMEDIATELY REMOVE ALL MIRRORS FROM HIS RESIDENCE.

[This will do NOTHING to deter the person who relentlessly pursues the TRUTH of his self-image. But there are so very few of these types around, they are little more than a statistical anomaly.]

HOW does the reader handle the effects of his aging?

It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
