For better or for worse, man is largely a creature of habit.
Regardless of what an individual may claim, man relishes his ROUTINE–which is where most of his most enduring habits are located.
ETPR has touched upon various facets of a man’s routine–and the habits which make up those familiar ways of doing things.
We have previously examined man’s prejudices against admitting that he even had a routine.
We have previously examined the comfort to be had from a familiar routine in times of confusion and chaos.
We looked at those who worship the familiar and why a routine is such an important part of that.
We even focused on how hard it will be for most folks to adhere to their established routines during the last days of the end times.
BUT, we NEVER shined a light on the disadvantages and advantages of such a routine made up of habits.
We did mention that the comfort of routine COULD be used to control a population of men who were USED TO such comforts.
The BIG advantage of habits?
They bring the comfort of the familiar to a person who is surrounded by the unfamiliar.
The BIG disadvantage?
Those who believe they control the world KNOW that man finds comfort in his habits and routine. Those who believe they control the world can easily manipulate this information in order to herd the masses of men to where those workers of iniquity want them to go.
THE CONCLUSION OF ALL OF THIS?
Man is a creature of habit.
BUT, it appears that habits are something of a double-edged sword.
The reader has his habits which make his life more comfortable.
BUT those same habits might be used against him when the time of chaos comes.
The warning is to be careful.
OF COURSE, not many heed warnings of that type these days.
WHAT does the reader believe about those behaviors which occur regularly enough to be called “habit“?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
