From time to time, the ETPR reader will have seen references to “the schemes of man.”
YET, it was determined, after some careful study of past articles, that “the schemes of man” was a phrase which has been poorly explained.
ONLY ONE article (published almost two-and-a-half years ago) even mentioned (in passing) what the “schemes of man” were.
So, it was decided this week to examine the phrase a little more closely and try to emphasize just exactly what the “schemes of man” were all about.
IN SHORT, the “schemes of man” involve taking from the many and giving to the few.
“There is no salvation for civilization, or even the human race, other than the creation of a world government.”

A FEW of those schemes–which TAKE from the many and GIVE to the elite FEW–are
- Those governments which supposedly are run by men “elected” by the many (as well as government-mandated products and services)
- Various monopolies – whether they be products (sugar, prescription or recreational drugs) or services (electric, power, water); Whether they be known to the public (natural gas) or unknown (petroleum)
- Lotteries
- Things of the world which are claimed to have “intrinsic value” (such as government-issued or manufactured, alternate currencies)
- Stock markets
- Various gambling schemes, including professional sports
- Popular entertainment
The list ONLY features a very few of the schemes of man which take from the many and give to the elite few.
HOWEVER, all of the schemes by the few during man’s entire existence PALE beside the plan of those who imagine themselves to be “at the top of the food chain” to control the entire world and ALL of the things in it.
“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed [Jesus Christ], saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

This control of the world by the elite few (encouraged and assisted by Satan) is the ULTIMATE scheme of man: it is the ULTIMATE taking from the many and giving to the elite few.

So, that is the extent of what has been published here at ETPR about a phrase which is fairly regularly referenced.
A “scheme of man” is the taking from the many and giving to the few.
The reader might list quite a few of these “schemes of man” because some of them have been around for so long and because it is plain to see how they work.
Various lotteries are “schemes of man.”
Which is why so many gambling enterprises like the lotto are run by GOVERNMENTS. Government is one of the entities trusted (at least a little bit) by end times man to ‘play fairly.’
There are other “schemes of man” which come better disguised and therefore, are hard to discern.
Many of these additional schemes are run by business because end times man trusts business (at least a little bit) to ‘play fairly.’
For these schemes to be successful, the public (the many) must be convinced that the few are NOT raking in their cash. The many must be convinced that it is the many who are benefiting.
This is NOT the case.
And so, it is suspected that the “schemes of man” will continue right up until Jesus Christ returns to earth.
CAN the reader think of any schemes of man?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
