Modern man believes he will survive almost ANYTHING.
Whether it be outer space aliens, tornadoes, asteroids OR financial calamity, modern man has been taught from an EARLY age that he is SPECIAL–especially by those self-esteem warriors known as grade school teachers.
And, that teaching is reinforced at every opportunity by the media.

BECAUSE moderns believe themselves to be SPECIAL, moderns have an extraordinarily confident view that they will triumph over all unforeseen circumstance.
Because the end times are a time of unforeseen circumstance, moderns appear to be uniquely suited to take on that challenging time period.
God’s Word, on the other hand, warns man that–regardless of the high opinions man holds of his abilities–he is in for some TOUGH moments during the end times.
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”
–Matthew 24:7
“And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”
–Luke 21:11
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
–Matthew 24:21-22
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
–Luke 21:25-26
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”
–Jude 1:7
So, there will be a LOT of unforeseen circumstances for man to watch out for.
UNDOUBTEDLY, some of the unforeseen circumstances will snare AT LEAST SOME of those moderns who believe themselves to be ‘special.’
Being–or at least, believing to be–‘special’ will NOT protect moderns from all of that which will come upon the earth during the last days.
War, famine, pestilence, wild animals, natural disasters–as well as happenings which have not taken place before in modern man’s memory–will make the end times an especially treacherous time to be alive.
Unfortunately, many moderns do NOT believe God’s Word.
And so, many moderns will NOT survive the dangerously tricky pitfalls of that uncertain time–regardless of the many warnings in God’s Word.
And, regardless of how ‘special’ one feels about one’s self.
DOES the reader have any thoughts about the conditions he will face during the last days?
DOES the reader believe theses conditions will be EASY or HARD to face?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
