1: what provides amusement or enjoyment, specifically playful often boisterous action or speech
/full of fun
2: AMUSEMENT, ENJOYMENT
FUN! is truly a word of the WORLD.
One way to know this is that God’s Word does not contain the word, “Fun.”
FUN! is something that is FREQUENTLY promised–particularly by Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media).
BUT, FUN! is something that is RARELY delivered.
In fact, many–who have been disappointed at the lack of promised FUN!–deliver their own verdict when the materialized FUN! doesn’t show up.
“That doesn’t even sound like fun!”
For all of those who have been too often disappointed at the failure to engage in FUN! that has been suggested, here are a few facts about that worldly sensation.
1- FUN! OFTEN proves to be a will o’ the wisp: frequently pursued, rarely caught.
2- FUN! often is promised as a come-on to lure the unwary to an event.
3- FUN! is often used by others to lure someone to take part in their plans.
“Come on! It’ll be FUN!”
4- The Fallacy of FUN! is that FUN! is often pursued where the person concerned ONCE UPON A TIME actually had some fun doing an activity.
The IDEA of FUN!, once enjoyed, will be chased until there is NO hope of ever repeating the experience.
5- Many times, any fun that IS experienced will be FLEETING. Quickly coming and just as quickly leaving.
FUN! is the ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it’ experience.
6- FUN! often leads its pursuers into ends they later wished they had avoided.
MANY criminal actions start out as a pursuit of FUN!
7- The FUTILITY of FUN! is that experiences are, many times, UNIQUE.
A person may hope to repeat the enjoyment he ONCE received, but more often, that person receives DISAPPOINTMENT–rather than FUN!
Wonder why the world so often promises something so hard to replicate?
DOES the reader have any ideas?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
—1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
