End Times Frustrations: There will STILL be Everyday Frustrations During the End Times

FRUSTRATIONS

When most folks think about the end times, they think BIG TICKET items.

War, pestilence, famine, rumours of war, man of sin, worldwide government, earthquakes, mark of the beast, eternal damnation, Armageddon: that will do for starters.

BUT, what many do not realize is that besides all of the calamity and natural disasters (and ‘acts of God’), one will also be faced with the ordinary, everyday problems which plague even the most calm during the most sedate of times.

Backed-up toilets, leaky faucets, no electricity, the car sputtering (when it runs at all), neighbors and co-workers who smile at your face but who beat you up verbally once your back is turned–you know, the common headaches which happen to most of us(it seems) EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Even God’s Word has something to say about the circumstance.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
–2TIMOTHY 3:1

Though 2TIMOTHY 3:1 is not real specific, “perilous” covers a LOT of ground.

Perilous” is USUALLY thought of as “DANGEROUS.”

BUT, in the insurance industry, “PERIL” can mean the RISK of losing something–which does NOT have to include DANGER.

Many people handle daily frustrations by ignoring them–or concentrating on something bigger.

HOWEVER, the manner in which a person handles the everyday problems reveal how that person might handle something larger.

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
–Luke 16:10

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
–Matthew 25:21

AND, the question has to be posed: “Will a person be able to ignore what is taking place during the end times?”

ONE GUESS: Not likely.

The Book of James gives a bit of VERY GOOD advice for those times when the daily torments (frustrations) of life drag one down.

” Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.”
–James 5:13

And the Book of Proverbs offers this observation.

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.”
–Proverbs 24:10

For the FEW who are believers in God, God’s Word, God’s Son, Jesus Christ and related things, one can take comfort in the words of the apostle Paul.

“For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
–1TIMOTHY 4:10

The many who are UNbelievers?

They will have to take comfort WHEREVER it may be found–if at all.

Affliction, both LARGE and SMALL, will take place during the end times’ last days.

The reader has been warned.

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
