When one was younger, one question in particular used to accompany all readings of the end times from God’s Word:
“How deceived does end times man have to be in order to think he can successfully fight against God?”
However, one did not count on man being nearly as deceived as he is presently.
God’s Word abounds with accounts of how end times man will array himself and his armies against God and of His Son, Jesus Christ.
“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.”
–Revelation 16:16, 19:19
OF COURSE, even now, modern man prepares for that lost end times battle (though many of his desires for ‘space weapons’ are claimed to be for the protection of man from non-existent ‘space threats.’)

There are HUNDREDS more similar articles. All the reader has to do to confirm this is to check the Internet search engines.
And so, DECEIVED end times man gathers his puny space weapons for a fight which is already lost. The MAIN reason he does this is because he is deceived.
God’s Word gives several accounts of the aftermath of this battle between God and man. What follows is one of those accounts.
“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
–Revelation 19:17-21
Modern man CANNOT make an ‘informed’ decision on the matter because he does not have all of the information OR he had erroneous information.
Fighting against God or His Son, Jesus Christ?
A losing battle, to be sure.
TO which side will the reader align himself?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
