Though MOST believe the last days of the end times are a time of judgment for the wicked and/or foolish, that time period is ALSO a time of testing for the few believers on earth.
Oh, the UNbeliever is tested–with almost all found wanting.
“I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.”
–Isaiah 13:12
But the believer is ALSO tested during this time.
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
–1PETER 4:12-13
Even though God–who inhabits every point in time–already knows how each believer will react to his testing, perhaps the believer does NOT know?
And so, as each believer in that circumstance passes the ‘fiery trial which is to try you,’ he most probably will experience a GREAT relief at having passed such a testing.
It is STRONGLY suspected that the uncertainty surrounding such a testing by God Himself contributes to a believer’s tribulation.
Because even though God knows, perhaps the believer is not so sure?
A test reveals whether the knowledge a person has can be summoned whenever it is needed, to be APPLIED whenever it is needed.
IS the reader prepared for his fast-approaching time of testing?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?

DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
