Man uses any number of media to promote the story that man is a SPECIAL kind of person: that man is mostly a GOOD person.
- Good deed: Charleston man offers ride back to Lowcountry for those with cancelled flights
- Tribute: Aaron ‘Train’ Brown, Coach and ‘Really Good Man’
- ‘I had to do it to save everyone’: Man breaks into school and shelters more than 20 people from blizzard
BUT, ‘man is good’ is little more than a PR story.
God’s Word has the final say (as usual) on the matter.
“They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
–Romans 3:12
Did the reader get that?
There is NONE that doeth good, NO, not one.
Man is created from dirt. Man is a product of his creation.
“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
–Genesis 3:19
Yet, man spreads the story that when man does something TYPICAL, it is something out-of-the-ordinary–instead of something to be expected.
Perhaps the biggest whopper is the one about “man’s inhumanity to man.”
AS IF when man does something terrible, it is NOT usual behavior for a man.
This is a phrase heard when something truly BAD has happened (war, terror, torture, etc.).
BUT, ‘man’s inhumanity to man’ is not an aberration.
‘Man’s inhumanity to man’ is merely MAN BEING MAN.
Man is a man–and that is NOT so GOOD.
So, the reader should NOT be surprised.
DOES the reader believe that he knows more than one person who is “good“?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
