The End Times Handicaps Faced By the UNSAVED

handicap

IF one has been a regular reader of End Times Prophecy Report.com, then one is acutely aware that he is, on a fairly regular basis, URGED to become saved (from God’s judgment and the hellfire and torment which that judgment bring to those who are unsaved).

NOW, leave the torments and afflictions aside for a moment.

Those troubles are REAL enough–even IF one does NOT believe they will ever take place.

There are a number of OTHER pitfalls which the unsaved reader faces during the end times which have little to do with his eternal torment.

A FEW of those worries are NOW presented.

  1. The UNSAVED person does NOT have God’s Holy Spirit for guidance and comfort. This leaves the UNSAVED person open to massive deception, with only his own self to determine what’s true and what’s false.  And a person who is left to their own devices is a person who is abandoned to fail. NOT possessing the Holy Spirit of God–God’s Ultimate Lie Detector–is a HUGE disadvantage during the times of untruth which the earth is soon to experience.
  2. Half-truth and outright lies are the hallmark of the last days before Jesus Christ returns.  Some of these untruths have been unearthed, rehearsed and practiced for YEARS: they sound VERY convincing.  Without God’s Holy Spirit, the UNSAVED person must wade through this miasma of deceit using his own innate resources.  That is NOT very efficient or successful for the UNSAVED person.
  3. Communication with the Most Powerful Being in the Cosmos involves a RIGHT relationship with PRAYER.  One cannot have a right relationship with PRAYER unless one has the Holy Spirit of God helping at every step along the way.  This includes the Holy Spirit PRAYING for the SAVED person in a way which makes that prayer conform to the will of God (which means that the PRAYER will be heard by God–and if it is heard, then He will act upon the PRAYER request.
  4. The reader will NOT ever hear of a SAVED person complaining that God does NOT answer his prayers.  That is because the saved person has MUCH experience with God answering his prayers–EVEN those prayers which were considered by the pray-er to be about ‘small matters.’

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”
–1JOHN 5:14-15

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
–Romans 8:26-27

There are OTHER advantages to being led by God’s Holy Spirit during a time when few other landmarks present themselves for the person in question to use.

God willing, we will address some of these other advantages in a later piece.

HAS the reader EVER considered the advantages to be gained by having God’s Holy Spirit?

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
