“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
–Deuteronomy 31:6
The end times–particularly the days before the return of Jesus Christ–will be time of testing: for believers and unbelievers alike.
- The Last Days Are a Time of Testing For EVERYONE: The Wicked Will Be Tried, BUT So Are The Believers
- Though the Wicked Will Be Tried, Believers Will Be Tested During the Last Days As Well
- The Last Days: A Time of Testing For BOTH Sides
What is SIMILAR for both those who believe and those who do NOT is the circumstance of BOTH being tested. It does not matter if one believes God and His Word, one will be tested. Believers will be tested by the wiles of Satan (the dragon) and his workers of iniquity. Unbelievers will be tested by God and His judgments.
BUT, the reader should NOT conclude that there is NO differences between the righteous and the wicked.
There is.
The righteous will enjoy the presence of a holy God who is the most powerful of all and who created ALL that is in the universe.
The wicked workers of iniquity will have NO such presence.
No protection.
No provision.
No NOTHING.
However, few tears should be shed for the wicked. They (as a group) do NOT believe in God or the ultimate truth of God’s Word.
So, they do not believe they are giving up ANYTHING.
God will walk beside ALL who worship Him as God.
“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
–Deuteronomy 31:8
The believer AND unbeliever may BOTH suffer the ‘slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,’ BUT ONLY the believer will KNOW that God will reward him with everlasting life.
The wicked (unbelieving) have NO such comfort.
“And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?”
–Deuteronomy 31:16-17
“But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.”
–2CHRONICLES 7:19-20
TO which group does the reader believe he will belong?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
—1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
