Let this piece serve as just a friendly reminder to all of those folks who have looked to the GOVERNMENTS of man to provide the necessities of life.
Those nice things will NOT last forever.
There will be MANY governments who take advantage of all of the unsettled times to DITCH many of their obligations.
And while MOST Americans automatically think of the poor when they think of government relieving the discomfort of want, the MIDDLE CLASS gets LOTS of hand-outs–whether or not they admit it.
America’s ‘SAFETY NET’ which we have heard so much about?
Government will drop supplying food and shelter and other necessities of life to the downtrodden at the first sign that the last days are upon us.
Governments will unburden themselves from obligations which they took on during ‘better times.’
NOW, will the indigent quietly starve to death if they no longer receive money on their EBT cards (Formerly called ‘food stamps.’)?
Most likely they will NOT.
And so crime will become just another part of everyday life as those who formerly sucked at the government teat find ‘other,’ less-willing suppliers of ‘benefits’ WHICH THE GOVERNMENT USED TO SUPPLY.
Is there anything to be done about this future period of want?
It’s not very likely.
After all, God has planned this and warned about it all in His Word for THOUSANDS OF YEARS (in some cases).
This has been a friendly end times REMINDER.
DOES the reader depend upon GOVERNMENT to supply his needs?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
