And just like that: not only is daylight sticking around each day longer, Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend, giving readers an “extra” hour of daylight at the end of the day.

Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday morning. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday morning (March 8).

DST will remain in effect for almost 8 months until November 1, 2020.

Daylight Savings Time

Industrialized societies usually follow a clock-based schedule for daily activities that do not change throughout the course of the year. The time of day that individuals begin and end work or school, and the coordination of mass transit, for example, usually remain constant year-round. In contrast, an agrarian society‘s daily routines for work and personal conduct are more likely governed by the length of daylight hours and by solar time, which change seasonally because of the Earth’s axial tilt. North and south of the tropics daylight lasts longer in summer and shorter in winter, with the effect becoming greater the further one moves away from the tropics.

By synchronously resetting all clocks in a region to one hour ahead of standard time, individuals who follow such a year-round schedule will wake an hour earlier than they would have otherwise; they will begin and complete daily work routines an hour earlier, and they will have available to them an extra hour of daylight after their workday activities. However, they will have one less hour of daylight at the start of each day, making the policy less practical during winter.

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And really: what is more exciting than manufactured drama?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

THE PARTICULARS OF PROPHECY

LOOKING FOR THE DETAILS OF END TIMES PROPHECY

From time to time, the question is asked “Why doesn’t ETPR feature more articles on prophecy?”

The question, after more conversation, is usually clarified to mean “more articles providing more DETAILS about prophecy.”

The short answer is that we do feature a LOT of articles about the particulars of end times prophecy. Because Jesus clearly warned of deception in Matthew 24 (3 times in 24 verses!), that subject figures heavily among our topics.

But, after more conversation/correspondence, what the questioner usually wants is more articles of the “This-is-what-happens-when” variety. There are literally hundreds of websites which feature such information (and dozens which also include “prophetic words” from various people associated with a website). Many have charts of when such-and-such will take place. Many have timelines for this-and-that.

A great many regularly discuss the latest topic sweeping the apostate churches; i.e., the Four Blood Moons.

As was mentioned, deception runs rampant–and nowhere is the deception deeper than in the pages of the Modern American Prophecy Industry or among the pews of the American churches.

And one has to admit: the tales spun by the apostates and the prophecy-mongers are mostly entertaining and dramatic (but unbiblical): 7-year tribulations, UFOs and ETs, scary antichrists, giants and nephilim, rebuilt Jewish temples, the paranormal, the red heifer re-discovered, the unexplained and the mysterious, robots, great end times revivals, raising the dead and other miracles by apostate pew-sitters, pre-tribulation raptures, half-human monsters, and fallen angels mating with earth women to produce half-human hybrids.

Which all makes for great Hollywood movies and mass marketed pseudo-Christian books.

But they make rotten eschatology.

But it is useless to discuss the details of the end times with someone who is deceived. A deceived person is able to dismiss or ignore all Scripture relating to the end times EXCEPT what deceivers have custom-twisted to fit their schemes. The ability to ignore or dismiss Scripture is one sign that the person is not a Christian, but a tare.

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

So, it would seem that the focus should be on deception, how to recognize it and how to counter it.

God has a way of using the Bible itself to supply all of the right details IF a person is free of deception–especially self-deception. Which is why, from time-to-time, we do feature an article which speaks to the details.

But for the time being, details are meaningless to a person who has been blinded.

And make no mistake: it is God, not Satan, who blinds the eyes of the wicked so they will not receive the gospel and be saved.

Because the Internet is the largest, most effective method ever devised to allow people to spy on themselves. And not only to spy on themselves, but to spy on their families and friends as well. And not only to inform on them, but to post pictures of them so that facial recognition software can add them to the various databases that have been constructed by Big Government, Big Business and Big Intelligence.

No, the Internet will stay put.

Every day the Internet automatically funnels trillions of bits of information into various files and folders–where it can be perused at leisure by one of the domestic spy agencies.

Oh, there may be some temporary outages–the better to create chaos, fear and uncertainty. But the Internet is a wonderfully-functioning spy tool which was constructed by the military for use by the military and the intelligence services–and Big Business.

Some may protest that the Internet is a great tool for communication.

And so it is.

Not only for communicating with those one knows, but with those one does not know, but who monitor the Internet 24/7.

When the Internet does finally go down, it will be the least of the world’s worries.

Don’t worry about the Internet.

Worry about those who use it.
