It doesn’t occur very often because music is a form of stylized propaganda.

That is, music is full of LIES–to be told and re-told over and over and over and over….
BUT, RARELY a song will have a lyric which contains SOME truth.
…and, as it so very often happens, a little truth goes a long way.
This does NOT happen because it was planned that way.
It happens inadvertently.
And so it was that a song popular about 20 years ago was heard and a lyric got stuck in one’s head.
The song was Obsession by a one-hit wonder named Animotion.
The lyric in question was sung by a woman (twice!) to a man who was obviously obsessed with her.
“I will have you, yes, I will have youI will find a way, and I will have youLike a butterfly, a wild butterflyI will collect you and capture you.”
This served as a little reminder that SOMETIMES the hunted becomes the hunter.
SOMETIMES the prey becomes the one who captures.
SOMETIMES the chased becomes the chaser.
A little reminder…

A little sometimes goes a long way.
DOES the reader ever get the words to a song ‘stuck in his head?’
DOES the reader have any thoughts on why this might occur?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
