Last week, we published a piece about sunny days being a ‘gift from God’ which are capable of driving thoughts of a gloomy day of the LORD far from the mind.
THAT piece ended with the following observations.
Just a small reminder: God’s Word is forever, but sometimes God tempers His Word with a bright, sunny day.
Bright days filled with sunshine are a GIFT from a loving God–who created ALL.
BUT, they do drive thoughts of gloom far away.
AFTER turning that piece over and over in one’s mind, it was decided to add another line or two (to reflect greater accuracy.)
Bright days filled with sunshine are a GIFT from a loving God–who created ALL.
HOWEVER, some of those days were SO gloomy as to be able to be distracted by a sunny day.
AND, although those sunny days DO drive thoughts of future gloom far away, SOME things were MEANT to be gloomy–perhaps to make the day Jesus returns distinctive and to more easily bring that day to mind.
Like all gifts from God during the last days, the reader need ponder HOW one is to best utilize such a gift.
During the End Times, There Will Still Be a Sunny Day or Two
DOES the reader appreciate bright, sunny days?
OR, does the reader look for something DEEPER?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
—1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
