“Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.”

There are any number of verses from God’s Word in which He PROMISES to protect and otherwise take care of, those few people who have dedicated their lives to worshiping Him as God.
Believers KNOW that these verses are MORE than just WORDS: believers see these promises fulfilled EVERY day.
So, they KNOW they are true.
HOW DO believers KNOW?
Well…
A few ways:
One man’s teeth hurt him and cause him pain as they rot in his mouth; another man’s teeth remain firm and strong his entire life.
One man’s singing in the shower SCARES his neighbor; another man’s singing is like two songbirds who have put together the world’s most beautiful tune.
One man’s WEIGHT causes him grief as it balloons upward, seemingly with EVERY bite of food he eats; another man eats WHATEVER he wants–and ENJOYS it!–and does NOT gain weight.
One man catches a cold (it seems) every day AFTER winter is gone; another man ENJOYS the change of seasons and daydreams of summer.
One man never is able to SAVE any money, regardless of how much he makes; another man NEVER appears to run out of money or the things it can buy.
The world’s answer?
“Oh, that is just LUCK!”
NOT a very good answer to the MANY Bible verses on the subject.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
–Philippians 4:19
“The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”
–Lamentations 3:25
“Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.”
–Deuteronomy 3:22
Yes, there are a GREAT NUMBER of verses in which God PROMISES His protection and care to those who He calls His own.
Those who believe God’s Word KNOW these promises are real because they experience them almost EVERY day.
Those who do NOT believe God’s Word wonder how others can believe them because unbelievers NEVER see ANY of those promises in action.
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
–Joshua 1:9
HAS the reader ever wondered why it seems like the promises of God are for others?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
