FROM A LAND OF PLENTY TO A LAND OF WANT

While discussing a host of topics this past week, the mood of the four people involved in the discussion turned somber.

What it was which dampened the group’s mood was the topic being discussed.

The topic?

The shift of the United States from a LAND OF PLENTY to a LAND OF WANT.

There was VERY LITTLE disagreement on whether this desolation had occurred. MOST of the discussion concerned the ‘finer points‘ of the matter.

The discussion began as a question: “How long has it been that you have noticed the USA sliding backwards?”

NO question about whether this ‘sliding backwards’had occurred; only a question asking confirmation that it had happened–and WHEN this was remembered so that it stuck in the person’s memory.

“Couple years.”

“I’ve been writing about it for at least FOUR or FIVE years.”

“Yeah, probably three to five years.”

“That you’ve noticed?”

“Yeah, it COULD have been longer than that, but I’ve been noticing things falling apart for the last three, four or five years.”

“What, in particular, have you noticed?”

“Oh, without a doubt, it’s been the roads. They’re falling apart and they don’t do ANYTHING to fix them!”

“No, it has to be the stores. There’s NO merchandise for sale and what they do have is overpriced and NOT what anybody would want.”

“How many times have I said ‘This is like living in a third-world country!’?”

“If you want anything, you have to order it online. The stores don’t have much anymore.”

“So, you all think that the USA has gone from a LAND OF PLENTY to a LAND OF WANT?”

“Yep.”

“Absolutely!”

“Definitely!”

ANYONE who grew up when the United States was hauling in the world’s valuables in exchange for those little, green slips of paper called dollars has noticed that the USA is NOT favored anymore.

The United States was the wealthiest country EVER. There was a reason for this: an end times reason. The USA is STILL a rich country–just not as rich as it used to be ten or twenty years ago.

Folks who were around ten or twenty years ago have no problem in ticking off the number of things which have changed for the worse.

Has the reader noticed any of these changes?

Or, has the reader told himself, “Things will get better, they always do.“?

As far as that recent discussion went, the MAIN points seemed like they were agreed to.

It was only the particulars (how long has this been going on, how can you tell, etc.) which were discussed.

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

So, whether one is wicked or a believer, there will be enough stress and concern around for EVERYONE. This stress for the wicked will be because their judgment is SURE.

This stress for the believer will be because he KNOWS he will be a convenient target for the workers of iniquity.

Which is the primary reason EVERYONE is full of UNEASE during the last days before Jesus returns.

THE BEAST OF REVELATION: A FEW OBSERVATIONS

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
–Revelation 13:8

Yes, we know there are TWO beasts mentioned in Revelation 13. We are referring to the first beast, introduced in Revelation 13:1

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
–Revelation 13:1

Much has been written about the two beasts of Revelation 13. Much has been written to purposely mislead readers. This has been taking place for hundreds of years.

A FEW OBSERVATIONS

1- The two beasts are SYSTEMS, as clearly explained by the angel to John. The first beast is given a mouth to speak for it. This appears to be the man of sin (Who is also called the “false prophet”).

2- The first beast is ALSO a king. Which is the Bible referring to: the system or the king? It depends upon the context of the verse which refers to the beast.

Some background on the beast(s) in Revelation 13.

The prophet Daniel had a vision about four beasts. The fourth of Daniel’s beasts is the same as the first beast described in Revelation 13.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.”
–Daniel 7:7-8

Daniel speaks to an angel and the asks him the truth concerning the beasts. Concerning Daniel’s discussion with the angel, Daniel reveals a bit more.

“Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
–Daniel 7:19-22

This was the same beast which King Nebuchadnezzar had earlier seen in his own dream–which Daniel interpreted for the king.

First, the interpretation of the king’s dream was revealed to Daniel in a night vision.

“Then was the secret [of the interpretation of the king’s dream] revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”
–Daniel 2:19-22

Then, Daniel went in to see the king. The king not only wanted the interpretation of his dream: the king would not tell anyone what the dream was he had dreamed–the king wished for a “wise man” to tell him the dream AND the interpretation.

“The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.”
–Daniel 2:26-30

What in the king’s dream was relevant to Daniel’s later vision?

Daniel saw the fourth beast kingdom; he saw it destroyed by the return of Jesus Christ to earth and the setting up of the kingdom of heaven (God)–(though Daniel did not know the dream was specifically referring to someone named Jesus).

“This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.”
–Daniel 2:36,40,44-45

FINALLY, Daniel was later told the meaning of his vision of four beasts by an angel.

The angel tells Daniel the beasts of his vision are KINGS.

“I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
–Daniel 7:16-18

Daniel wants to know more.

So, the angel also tells Daniel the beasts are the KINGDOMS of those four kings. The fourth beast kingdom–unlike the other beasts–shall rule the entire earth.

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”
–Daniel 7:23-27

3- The first beast of Revelation 13 (as opposed to the SECOND beast of Revelation 13) is a POLITICAL system with a POLITICAL king (leader).

4- The second beast of Revelation 13 is a RELIGIOUS system with a RELIGIOUS leader (the False Prophet).

5- Though there are two beasts mentioned in Revelation 13, by the end of the chapter, there is only one beast.

All the references at the end of the chapter are to “the beast,” not “the beasts.”

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
–Revelation 13:17-18

6- John is told by the angel that the ten horns are ten kings (leaders). These leaders control the worldwide political system at the beginning. Eventually, three of these leaders lose their place (Daniel 7:8).

7- This happens when the man of sin ascends and takes control of the beast. The political and the religious systems merge into one worldwide system of control under the man of sin.

8- The angel also tells John the seven heads are seven world empires. The last empire had not yet come when the angel’s visitation took place; this last empire would “when he cometh, he must continue a short space.” It sounds as if this last empire is the worldwide beast empire of Revelation 13.

9- One of the heads of the beast receives what appears to be a deadly wound. This wound comes by the sword (war).

10- This head (king/kingdom) of the world empire appears to be dead; to have been killed by the sword (war), but it only LOOKS that way. The world empire recovers.

BONUS- The beast (political/religious system) that “was and is not” goes into perdition (eternal destruction and torment). Originally, this system came out of the bottomless pit, where it had been held.

HIKING THROUGH THE END TIMES

There are a NUMBER of events which most people simply get WRONG about the end times.

Mostly, because they have been TOLD (the WRONG way) what happens.

EARTHQUAKES

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

There are a GREAT MANY folks who are SURE that one sign of the end times is an INCREASE in EARTHQUAKES.

But God’s Word says NOTHING about that and, instead, Jesus said that there would be EARTHQUAKES “in ‘divers’ places”

Diverse (usually dye-VERSS) is frequently called upon to emphasize variety. It means either “dissimilar” or “unlike” (as in “a variety of activities to appeal to the children’s diverse interests”) or “having distinct or unlike elements or qualities” (“a diverse student body”)

(Many others have claimed that ‘divers’ refers to the different types of earthquakes.)

MARK OF THE BEAST

There is a GREAT MANY folks who believe that 666 is something one gets to prove he supports Satan.

That is NOT what God’s Word says.

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

The buying and selling IF one has the mark (which is what most folks remember)?

It is a satanic mechanism to ensure that one worships Satan’s beast.

666 is a sign of worship.

YACHTS?

ALL who have spent GREAT SUMS of money on boats to occupy themselves after Jesus comes back so earth stopped reading God’s Word a few chapters too soon.

Specifically, Revelation Chapter 22.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

There will be NO sea when Jesus returns and earth gets re-made.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.

France’s Yellow Vest protesters return to the streets enraged by billions pledged to rebuild Notre Dame – When the gloves come off and the true face of one-world government is unveiled, does the reader believe that the media version of “protest” will continue?

How many protesters does the reader believe will have to be mowed down before one ceases to see “Molon labe” T-shirts?

How many “peaceful marches” does the reader believe will be broken up before all of the “from my cold, dead hands” bumper stickers are scraped off of citizens’ personal belongings?

How many protests does the reader believe have to be brutally and publicly crushed in order for protests to cease altogether?

How long before loud public chatter about “I know my rights!” is no longer heard?

The reader need not answer: it will not be that long before we can all see it happening and then answer the questions ourselves.

AND THE WINNER IS: THE LESSER EVIL!

This election is an unpopularity contest for the ages – Here’s a clue: over the past 100 years or so, they ALL have been unpopularity contests.

Come on. Seriously. Let’s just go back the last 28 years.

PRESIDENTIAL CONTENDERS AND THE VAT TAX

2020 Candidate Andrew Yang Says U.S. Needs a Value Added Tax (VAT) – Some of those “running for president” only do so in order to give themselves a platform to float trial balloons of a leaden nature.

However, there will NEVER be an end to politicians calling for new taxes on the public.

The VAT is a particularly sneaky tax.
The VAT is a tax which taxes the layers of tax ALREADY ASSESSED on a good or service.
The VAT raises oodles of money–the public’s money–for politicians to steal and waste.

ALL are good reasons why there will NEVER be an end to politicians who call for a VAT for the USA.

Particularly by those politicians who claim to want to be U.S. president.
