94-year-old Billy Graham’s warning for America – Billy Graham is praying for “a great spiritual awakening in America.”

The headline comes from a piece at WND which states “EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the first of a seven-part series by veteran journalist Troy Anderson about major evangelists who are turning their attention toward America to help ignite what Billy Graham describes as an end-times “great spiritual awakening.”

Apparently, Graham forgot he made the following televised statement in 1997 to Robert Schuller: “…And I don’t think that we’re going to see a great sweeping revival, that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time.”

However, the WND article paints a different picture.

At a time when many believe the midnight hour on God’s prophetic clock is fast approaching, major evangelists – Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Bonnke, Laurie, Chuck Smith, Banning Liebscher and others – are turning their attention toward America in the hope of helping ignite an end-times awakening.

One wonders how Billy Graham, who publicly renounced the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1997, could help “ignite an end-times awakening?”

1997: Three interview transcripts – Billy Graham’s Gospel?

“He’s calling people out of the world for His name, whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ because they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus but they know in their hearts that they need something that they don’t have, and they turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved, and that they’re going to be with us in heaven.”

“I think everyone who loves Christ or knows Christ, whether they are conscious of it or not are members of the Body of Christ.”

Graham then agreed with Schuller who said, “There is a wideness in God’s mercy.”

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Graham was even more explicit during an interview on Larry King.

KING: What do you say to these strong Christian leaders who get on television and say…you will live in hell if you do not accept Jesus Christ? And they are forceful. And judgmental.”

GRAHAM: “That’s their calling. That’s not my calling. As I became older I became more mellow and more forgiving and more loving.”

This is another gospel.

Believing Jesus is the only way is a basic part of being a Christian.

IF one does not believe that bedrock principle, one is NOT a Christian.

After reading the words supposedly put into the mouth of Billy Graham by the North Korean media, the verdict here is: None of the claimed fictitious quotes are as bad as the actual words which Graham is on record as saying.

The reader can decide.

What the North Koreans claim Graham said (there is no other evidence Graham said these things):

“If god is the leader of another world, saviour and ruler of the past and future life that exists in our imagination, I acknowledge the Supreme Leader Kim Il-sung is the god who rules today’s human world.”

“Kim is this world’s god. Why would a country like this need the Bible?”

What Billy Graham has said in televised interviews:

[When asked about whether those who do not believe in Jesus Christ will go to heaven] “It’s in God’s hands. I can’t judge. I don’t judge them.”

[When asked what he thought of Christians who tell someone they will go to hell if they do not believe in Jesus] “They have a right to say that. And they’re true to a certain extent. But that’s not my calling. My calling is to preach the love of God and the forgiveness of God…I used to do the same. I guess as I got older I got mellower.”

Billy Graham’s website tries to defend Graham’s apostasy online: The Only Way?

It’s instructive that in this video interview, neither Graham (nor Larry King) speaks the name of Jesus

In another televised interview, Graham said: “I think everyone who loves Christ, who knows Christ WHETHER THEY ARE CONSCIOUS OF IT OR NOT, they’re members of the body of Christ.”

“They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they know in their heart they need something that they don’t have.”

[“I’m so glad to hear you say that. There’s a WIDENESS in God’s mercy.”} “There is.”

Christians in the end times will lose their lives for saying what Billy Graham denies: Jesus is the only way to eternal life.

“and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Billy Graham denies the very basics of Christianity.

One cannot be a Christian and hold such views.

Billy Graham is a poseur.

BILLY GRAHAM: Leading an end times revival without the gospel of Jesus Christ?

We know what Billy Graham and his cohorts are saying about end time revival. What does the Bible say?

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
–2 Thessalonians 2:3

“Let no man deceive you by any means” appears to be fairly straightforward–and yet Christians are deceived. Picking up experiences, feelings, imaginations and emotions while laying down their Bible.

Jesus was even more explicit in His warnings.

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.[…] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.”

The hunger for “signs and wonders” will help fuel this great end times apostasy that will look remarkably like true church revival. The Bible says it will unfortunately fool many church-goers.

However, it will not fool Jesus.

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Mobilizing U.S. pastors for End Times Revival and Conference

The Bible has a great deal to say about the spiritual condition of the churches in the last days. Most of it is not good. When Jesus returns, will he find a “great awakening” led by such men as Billy Graham?

“Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

Increasing evil, times of peril, a huge apostasy of those who profess to be Christians, false teachings, false prophets, deceptive signs and wonders, and a delusion that will even deceive God’s own people if possible: scripture is full of pictures of the end times before the coming of Jesus and they all pretty much paint a bleak picture.

The Bible does say that there will be a great sweeping show of spirituality in the end times.

But it is not good: the world will worship the dragon [Satan], NOT Jesus Christ.

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast…And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4, 7-8

Does this mean that we are to stop witnessing? Of course not. Christians are commanded to proclaim the good news of the gospel to unbelievers.

But scripture says that it will be “as in the days of Noah” before Jesus comes back.

Were the days of Noah a time of great revival?

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
–Genesis 6:5

It is and will be a harsh climate in which to be be a Christian: a time of spiritual hand-to-hand combat; a time of winning souls one at a time.

“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
–Luke 15:7

Will Billy Graham lead a great end times awakening?

Perhaps.

Will it be a great Christian awakening?

“Behold, I have told you before.”

At an Internet aggregator called Christian Homophobia, a variety of linked articles purporting to demonstrate that Christians hate homosexuals. The author, one Gerrit Visser, is at an immediate disadvantage due to the title of his site. There are homophobes and there are Christians, but the term “Christian homophobe” is itself a contradiction in terms.

If the person hates homosexuals, that person is committing as great a sin as the homosexual. A true Christian is not to exhibit hatred, which is the same as murder in the eyes of God. A person who has hate in his heart is separated from God.

“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.”
—1 John 3:15

Now, there are the Westboro Baptist folks (“God hates fags“)–who are neither Baptists nor Christians–and other of their ilk who do what they do. Someone is paying the Westboro cult very good money to do what they do–which is to bring reproach to the name of Christ. But again, they are not Christians. They are a group of no more than two dozen who profit handsomely from their ungodly behavior.

Christians are commanded to love the homosexual, but they are also commanded to hate sin. Jesus died for the homosexuals just as he did for all sinners who will turn from their sin and believe on Him.

Just as He loves all of His creation, God does not desire that any should perish. God loves homosexuals–right up until the moment they die. Then the Perfect Judge must judge perfectly. Christians are to tell the homosexual of his sin and, more importantly, that God in His mercy, made a way for them to be free of sin’s shackles through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Mr. Visser defines his own terms as far as what constitutes a “homophobe.” In so doing, he rejects Biblical authority and creates his own basis for his authority.

“The existence of christian homophobia is fueled by bible interpretation. It is expressed in the condemnation of homosexual behavior. Christian homophobes label the homosexual orientation as sin. As a consequence christian fundamentalists don’t fully accept LGBT identities as categories.”

Ironically, this rejection of Biblical authority places Gerrit Visser on the same level as the Westboro performers. Perhaps if he tires of running his Christian Homophobia website, Mr. Visser might make a little money on the side by joining the Phelps clan to do a little Westboro-style preaching about hatred?

They both appear to be cut from the same cloth.

Exalted by the World: The Fake Man of God

The end times are a time full of deception and deception surrounds us on every side, thus being one confirmation of the times in which we live.

One place where deception lies thickest is among the multitude of people who know not much, maybe a little bit about the Bible.

Another place which suffocates under end times deception is the churches.

Finally, deception especially surrounds the poor workers of iniquity.

But the multitudes of people who don’t know the Bible don’t care to know the Bible. Otherwise, they would study it.

The churches are a counterfeit of the enemy.

And the workers of iniquity?

They are the most deceived of all: in the business of deceiving other people, they perhaps wallow in more deception than their unwary targets.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

THE PERFECT STORM OF DECEPTION

The perfect storm of deception: where the multitudes of deceived people, the counterfeit churches (which await the man of sin) and the deceived and deceiving workers of iniquity all intersect is in the person of the “man of God” who is exalted by the world.

Such as Billy Graham.

The Only Way?

Followers of Jesus Christ claim a belief that—today and for the past 2,000 years—has raised eyebrows and caused others to ask, “really?”

The belief that Jesus Christ is the only way to obtain salvation, the one way to find God, the single way to receive eternal life can confuse or concern people. It can seem limited or judgmental, and it leaves out the countless other beliefs that billions around the world ascribe to.

Who is one to believe: Jesus or Billy Graham?

HERE’S A CLUE: ANY man exalted by the world as a “man of God” is NOT.

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
—John 15:19

Get that?

“The world would love its own.”

The world will not exalt a true man of God: the world HATES the true man of God. The world only loves its own: the world will only promote the counterfeit and fake man of God.

Billy Graham is not a man of God: he is deceived and deceiving. By his own words (more than once), he has declared Jesus is not the only way to heaven.

That is the declaration of a non-Christian.

The Bible warns of false apostles, deceitful workers, evil men, wolves in sheep’s clothing, seducers, ministers of Satan: all pretending to be something they are not.

The Bible also warns of the deception which is prevalent in the end times.

Together, they make the perfect storm of deception.

Only the Holy Spirit can guide someone through such spiritual darkness to the truth.

Black Jesus is also offered so apostate Americans can once more reassure themselves with the notion that they have discernment.

Catholic League has pretty chill response to Black Jesus – Excusing blasphemy comes easy to 2014 Americans who supposedly love Jesus.

What about nonbelievers?

Comparing bible versions, it appears that the New International Version lends more support to the possibility of mind control slaves among non-believers.

So what’s the conclusion, whether you believe in MK-ULTRA or not, or whether you believe it is an elaborate cover story for something else altogether?
