Many other performers (including Jack Nicholson who, it is claimed to have said: “I know the voices in my head aren’t real… but sometimes their ideas are just absolutely awesome!“) are tormented OR have tried killing the voices with drugs and/or alcohol.
The great majority ended up killing themselves instead.

Those preceding passages should provide a clue as to the identity of Babylon in Jeremiah 50-51 and Revelation 17-18.
The eventual winner of the contest will ascend to become a secular saint, an ambassador of peace and voice of the poor and downtrodden. But the road to such a lofty position is paved with landmines and booby traps.

My Vote – An impressive collection of narratives from start to finish, made more impressive by the author citing his advanced age.
But none of the narratives can match what is surely the oldest, most reliable media fib of every election being the “most important” in a lifetime.

The Hyde Amendment is named after its chief sponsor, Republican Congressman Henry Hyde of Illinois. The late statesman, known for his eloquent and unwavering defense of life, successfully barred the use of certain federal funds to pay for abortion in most circumstances.
Which means perhaps the pro-life movement ought to sort of celebrate, maybe.
