One of the biggest fibs the world tells all who listen is that the return of Jesus Christ is the “end of the world.”
This is false.
A reminder of this erroneous point of view came via a brief conversation with a heathen friend who was certain “end times” equated to “end of the world.” In fact, he appeared to be quite surprised–and somewhat relieved–to find he was wrong.
HOWEVER, the return of Jesus Christ WILL signal a change in management from Satan to Jesus Christ. Armageddon IS the end of the control of this world by sinners and the agents of Satan.
The “prince of this world” will no longer be the prince of this world. The “prince of this world” (Satan) will be imprisoned for one thousand years upon the return of Jesus Christ and will not be able to tempt man during that time.
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
–Revelation 20:1-3
The day Jesus Christ returns is a day of vengeance and slaughter of the wicked foretold by God’s Word for several thousand years.
“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.”
–Isaiah 13:9
It is easy to see why the world believes this change in management from Satan to Jesus Christ is the “end of the world.”
After seemingly able to do as they please since the Flood, the wicked will at last taste the vengeance of an angry God.
To the wicked, evil and foolish–who will all perish–it will certainly SEEM like the end of the world.
BUT believers have nothing to fear from the chaos and calamities of that time.
The return of Jesus Christ is definitely NOT the end of the world for all who place their trust in Him.
“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.”
–Zephaniah 2:3
DOES the reader believe the end times mean the world is coming to an end?
WHY does the reader believe this?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
Every day brings confirmation that the world–particularly the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) and Corporate Entertainment–have tried to completely hijack the meaning of “apocalypse.”
“Apocalypse” DOES NOT mean “doomsday” or “end of the world“–although so many have misused the word for so long that some online dictionaries now reflect this widespread misuse by adding the corrupted meaning–so commonly used in the media–to the previously-accepted list of definitions.
IS the reader confused about what “apocalypse” means?
DOES the reader automatically think of physical solutions when he thinks of “the end of the world“?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. The climax of human history (also known as the Day of the LORD or Armageddon) on this world is detailed in Revelation 19:11-21
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he [Jesus] that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
–Revelation 19:11-21
WHICH side will the reader be on in the final battle?
THERE is still time to change direction (repent) and place one’s trust in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. –1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
—2 Corinthians 4:3
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
–Revelation 21:1-5
But, if we can know anything, we know the media lies.
Which would make Mr Musk just another water-carrying, run-of-the-mill toady.
Big Government and Big Media are continually spinning fables about “humanity wiping itself out” either through nuclear weapons or climate change or artificial intelligence or too much fatty foods or something.
All involve man wiping out man, proving that even when manufacturing tall tales of doomsday, arrogant man makes himself the star of the show.
Anyone who knows the Bible knows this is so much deception.
The end times ARE a time of destruction and judgment–for the wicked, the foolish and the lost.
BUT the end times are a time of GREAT REJOICING for those who honor Jesus Christ with more than their lips.
“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men”
–Isaiah 29:13
Alas, in the times in which we live: so few know the Bible.
Which is a primary reason why so many hang on Mr Musk’s every word.
As well as the incredible tall tales spun by the Corporate Media concerning doomsday.
HAS the reader been frightened by the many tales of the “end of the world“?
The world will change. HOWEVER, it will not change as the tall tales told by the media and those men exalted by the world claim.
There is still yet a little time for the reader to turn to the truth.

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
—2 Corinthians 4:3
(IF the book seems too hard for the reader, there are a number of articles explaining various parts of the Book of Revelation available in the ETPR Archives.)
“Does Trump have to run the table of the top three targets? Absolutely,” John Brabender, a Republican strategist, tells the Times. “The fact that we have to worry about winning Pennsylvania to win the presidency tells you it’s a difficult task.”
Odd behavior for two people; one, supposedly “politically savvy,” the other, a claimed “wizard of the media.”
What does the reader guess is the reason for these two trying to out-do the other in upsetting as many Americans as possible?
“Wherever there’s injustice, oppression, and suffering, America will show up six months late and bomb the country next to where it’s happening.”
-—P.J. O’Rourke
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
—John 20:31
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
THE GOSPEL
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19
“Across the nation, parents are concerned about encroachments by proselytizing evangelicals in their public schools, and are eager to establish the presence of a contrasting voice that helps children to understand that one doesn’t need to submit to superstition in order to be a good person,” the group’s web site says.
The more deceived among the population will comfort themselves with “IF you are not doing anything wrong, why worry?”
They’ll be singing that tune right up until they’re carried away, kicking and protesting “But I didn’t do anything wrong!”
The piece-by-piece construction of the prison called America–even while the crazy-mad propaganda machine daily indoctrinated Americans on how “free” they are–has taken a long time to build.
Does it feel like freedom?
”There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.”
–Aldous Huxley, 1961
This is the quote that’s widely popularized today. But the following quote is a more accurate one.
“It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison, and yet not free – to be under no physical constraint and yet to be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national state, or of some private interest within the nation, wants him to think, feel and act. The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative. The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him the walls of his prison are invisible, and he believes himself to be free. That he is not free is apparent only to other people. His servitude is strictly objective.”
–Aldous Huxley, 1958
Let’s have none of this nonsense that Huxley was a prophet.
He was no such thing.
Huxley was a member in good standing of the New Age/New World Order/One World movement–just as H.G. Wells was. He wrote, under the cover of “fiction,” what was being prepared.
Americans have walked around in chains for years, thinking they were free, oblivious to the fact that they were not. As we get closer to the time of real, physical chains, it’s beginning to become apparent to some. But, it’s too late. The chains that were once pleasurable are now irritating.
Some Americans NOW want to fight their chains.
Too late. The time for action was decades ago. That time is now in the rear view mirror.
Some Americans have discovered that their chains are sin.
The Bible says that sin is pleasurable for a season. That season is over and the bill is now due.
But there is hope for all of those bound by the chains of sin. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
–Romans 6:23
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.”
–Ezekiel 16:49
People have an image of a recent bachelor’s degree recipient who went to college for four years and is now 22-23 years old and is working at Starbucks. Those people are very rare.
Agreed.
A job at Starbucks would be a step up for many who have been seduced by the words of “Go to college and you’ll do just fine!”
Obama has killed more Muslims than any other US president.
The revelation that our President is not a Muslim will come as a shock to many who listen to the incessant drone of TV “news” and their shrill talking heads.
“But, but, but…look at this…and this…and this!”
Here are 2 questions for such a reader.
1-Do you think the press has favored Obama in its coverage, to the point of ceasing to be the press we pretended it to be?
2- Then why do you think a compliant press would print all of the “hints” you’ve been carefully provided so that you will make the “discovery” that Obama is a Muslim?
Points 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive; one can’t believe them both. IF the press is in the pocket of Obama, then 2 makes no sense.
Obama is a practicing member of NO religion most Americans likely would be familiar with. It serves the purposes of the Corporate Media that, for now, Barack Obama is portrayed as an undercover Muslim.
It makes it easier for Americans to swallow that the man has no sense of right and wrong with which other Americans can identify.
Make no mistake: Obama is deceptive and he is a fraud.
Many Americans have bought the Obama = Muslim charade, but real Muslims recognize him for what he really is.
An imposter.
No amount of 24/7 Americanized propaganda will change that.
And though most Americans are taught to rebel; to “fight,” the Bible says differently–many times.
“Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:”
–1Peter 2:13-15
From the most dramatic moment in life – the day of your birth – to first steps, first words, first food, right up to nursery school, most of us can’t remember anything of our first few years. Even after our precious first memory, the recollections tend to be few and far between until well into our childhood. How come?
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
Speaking this week at the Aspen Security Forum, John Carlin, the U.S. assistant attorney general for national security, issued a warning. “You haven’t seen yet a public action against Russia,” he said. “But it would be a mistake for them to assume that we are not going to apply this deterrence model when it comes to their action if they continue to intrude.”
It’s useful to be reminded of who has ruled the world and instituted its “borders which do not matter” policies.
The elites have encouraged a world where national borders, in many cases, have gone unprotected (and laws totally disregarded) and then used other elites to write about this situation, pretending as if they were surprised there was any disagreement with their machinations.
As usual, the solution will be more elites who will swear they “are different” and care for the public and “will make things right.”

END OF THE WORLD MOVIES: 5 End of the World Apocalyptic movies
FIVE END-of-the-WORLD DISASTER MOVIES!
THE PERFECT DISASTER MOVIE TITLE? HOW ABOUT
FATAL CATASTROPHE:
END OF THE WORLD ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AT DOOMSDAY VS ARMAGEDDON’S END TIMES ROBOT BLOODBATH!
Doomsday! End of the World! Armageddon!
Have you ever wondered if the movies we’re watching have a hidden message to them?
Zombie Apocalypse! Runaway Government Police State! Last Days!
Sometimes this hidden message is hidden in plain sight.
All action movies have a general theme that’s easy to spot: Good vs Evil.
But many movies have an underlying narrative as well; one which flies just below the public movie-goer’s radar, even in children’s movies!
However, Christians are commanded to discern what is in movies.
One of Hollywood’s most popular themes has been “end of the world” flicks. Doesn’t matter how the movie sets up the story, movies about doomsday are popular–and Hollywood has been creative at creating scenarios for the end of the world.
Natural disasters, epidemics, hostile takeovers, and of course: zombies.
With that in mind, here’s five end of the world movies, their underlying messages as well as a few personal thoughts from this writer.
1. World War Z. According to IMBD, there have been 64 zombie movies released in 2013 alone. The zombie craze has certainly captured the interest and imagination of this generation. It appears a movie is no longer interesting unless it has a zombie attack of some sort in it.
In World War Z, Brad Pitt stars as an ex-United Nations employee searching for a cure for a worldwide zombie pandemic.
Opinion: Any movie that has an end of the world theme desensitizes the viewer to end times Bible prophecies. Hollywood has done an excellent job of distorting the end of the world and how it is going to happen–and this is not just World War Z, but every Hollywood end of the world-themed movie.
Coincidence?
This movie definitely followed in those footsteps and has created a false idea of what will happen and how it will end.
Another Zombie production that has captured the hearts of television lovers everywhere is, The Walking Dead.
That’s right, more zombies: 16 episodes worth every season.
Chaos will surely be part of the end times, but if readers want the straight story of what will really happen, begin reading Revelation 6.
Seven seals opening, World War 3, death riding a pale horse, earthquakes, pestilence, almost 2 billion people dying: if Hollywood really wanted an apocalypse script, here’s the real deal.
2. Hunger Games. In Hunger Games, two young adults or children from each of 12 districts, volunteer to represent their district in a fight to the death against the other districts’ reps.
Children killing children.
That doesn’t seem like it should be something worth watching, but the movie manages to make it all appealing.
First published in 1954, “It was labeled a parable, an allegory, a myth, a morality tale, a parody, a political treatise, even a vision of the apocalypse, Lord of the Flies has established itself as a true classic,” according to goodreads.com.
Upon reading some of the reviews for a book that pits children against children, phrases like, “one of the most disturbing books I’ve ever read”, “I hate this book”, “This book is horrifying”, and “There’s a reason why they didn’t teach this book in middle school.”
Doesn’t sound very endearing, does it?
Most of these reviews were written between 2007 and 2008. Fast-forward 5 to 6 years. Here’s a few reviews for the Hunger Games.
“Am I still alive? Yes! I can stay alive for the next movie.”
“It does set a better example for young impressionable pre-teens than gushing stories about sparkly co-dependency.”
“I LOVE THIS BOOK! I’ve said to a few people that if I wasn’t married, I’d have to marry this book.”
So what exactly changed in those 5 to 6 years? Did the idea of violent child murders just become the norm?
Opinion: Through the magic of Hollywood–and video games–Americans have become desensitized to death and murder. Parents murdering children, children murdering parents: it has become commonplace. A typical day’s news at the Daily Mail (UK) confirms it.
“and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.”
—Mark 13:12
Oh what a scary place to be in.
END OF THE WORLD MOVIES: What does Hollywood say about Doomsday? Does it agree with Bible prophecy?
3. 2012. 2012 was a landmark movie simply because everyone claimed the world would end in 2012 based on the Mayan calendar. Of course, when people believe the world is going to end, many prepare. Some prepare spiritually. Rising church attendance was reported as many turned to church for the answers.
Some prepare physically. Many “preppers” reportedly made shelters filled with non-perishable food items and supplies to last them through whatever they thought was going to happen.
2012 pandered to those viewers who were adamant that the world was going to end in 2012–and newspapers reported there were millions who believed this. Who was more accurate: the Bible or the Mayans?
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
—Matthew 25:13
4. I, Robot. Set in the year 2035 A.D, I,Robot depicts a world in which robots are common assistants and helpmates to humans. Programmed to not harm humans, robots had two other rules: to keep humans from harm and do anything that humans ask–as long as it does not interfere with the first two rules.
When a “suicide” takes place, an officer (Will Smith) who already despises robots, suspects one of them to be the murderer. Amid the chaos, eventually a hostile takeover ensues.
In 2011 President Obama launched the National Robotics Initiative. Four agencies have joined in this effort to provide research funding for next generation robotics. This includes developing robots that work with and alongside people.
Sound familiar folks?
If the Lord tarries and we reach the year 2035, I’m curious just exactly what shape this initiative will take.
5. I Am Legend. Another Will Smith end of the world classic. In this film, a plague has killed most of humanity and transforms the rest into monsters. Years later, Smith, who plays Robert Neville, is the only survivor and is struggling to find a cure.
Opinion: I think we can all agree that one of the saddest scenes in this movie is when his dog dies.
What else is truly sad?
People are so focused on Hollywood’s fictional version of the end of the world, they are desensitized to the Biblical reality of what is to come.
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
—Matthew 24:36
Hollywood’s product is fantasy.
And what is fantasy but lies and deceits cleverly packaged as the “magic of Hollywood“?
“And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you.”
—Matthew 24:3-4
The world will not end according to a Hollywood script, but according to what is written in the Word of God. Hollywood and the media are the devil’s puppets, used to entice and deceive people.
And it has worked.
But God is a God that does not fail and He keeps all his promises.
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
—2 Peter 3:3-8
