DAY OF THE LORD: MORE on God’s day of wrath, vengeance and recompense.
In End Times Events – Part One, we covered the highlights of the days before Jesus returns–according to Jesus Himself (mostly) from Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 and 17.
In Part Two, Jesus fills in the blanks in the Book of Revelation as it was given to the apostle John by Jesus Himself.
Between Parts One and Two, the reader should be able to piece together a fairly good idea of what is to come during the days leading up to the return of Jesus to earth.
PART TWO
In the synaptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus hit the high points of what is to take place during the end times.
In Revelation, given to the apostle John about 50 years after Jesus resurrected, Jesus gives a MORE complete picture with more details.
For instance, in the first chapters of Revelation, Jesus addresses the seven churches of Asia Minor. ONLY two of those churches got a clean bill of health from God’s Son. The other five were warned what would happen IF they did not change some of their wicked ways.
In CHAPTER FOUR of Revelation, Jesus gives John a glimpse of heaven; in CHAPTERS FIVE and SIX, Jesus shows John what takes place when the seven seals of God’s judgment are opened.
CHAPTER SIX is where the imagery of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is found.
“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

The last verse in the passage cited is mentioned in Ezekiel 14:21, where the last four judgments given are called the “FOUR SORE JUDGMENTS OF GOD.”
“For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?”

So, the four Horsemen signify the devastation that attends the man of sin, war, famine and all other various manners of death.
These are COMPLETELY new details not contained in the earlier accounts of the gospels.
IF the reader was looking for NEW information about the end times, he could do worse than read the Book of Revelation.
The total WOE that is felt by the world’s leaders is expressed, according to Jesus in the last few verses of Chapter SIX.
“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
–Revelation 6:15-17
That the workers of iniquity would change their tunes from the incessant mocking (BEFORE Jesus and God demonstrate their power) to a plea to the rocks and mountains to hide them is telling.
The next several chapters of Revelation include the sealing of God’s one-hundred-forty-four thousand and various pictures of what happens when God leaves man go his own devices during the judgment of WAR.
Chapters eight and nine detail what are called the THREE WOES.
Chapter Nine begins with a retelling of the prophet Joel’s plague of devils–which the prophet describes in his 3-chapter book, ALTHOUGH Joel metaphorically calls the devils “locusts.”
Chapter Nine ends with a word-picture of what the judgment of WAR is like when it is augmented by devils: it does NOT sound pleasant.
In CHAPTER TEN, God and Jesus do a bit of housekeeping and last-days organization.
Chapter Eleven tells the account of the TWO WITNESSES, who testify for God and who are a thorn in the side of Satan and Satan’s man of sin and his kingdom for as long as they both live.
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”

The two witnesses and their doings are called the SECOND WOE.
IMMEDIATELY after this, the third woe (which involves the fall of the man of sin and his worldwide kingdom) with its ending at Armageddon take place.
Chapter twelve contains the picture of Satan tormenting the Jews (the REAL Jews–NOT the synagogue of Satan which Jesus spoke of in the second and third chapters of Revelation).
Chapter THIRTEEN contains many details of the worldwide government, the man of sin’s rule over the earth and the changes which take place in RETAIL to enable the mark of the beast and the man of sin’s program to kill those who still believe in Jesus. Chapter THIRTEEN also reveals the train wreck that is the man of sin’s administration.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN goes into more detail about what was already spoken in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 and 13.
In CHAPTER 15 (the shortest of Revelation’s chapters), God prepares the earth for the FOREVER reign of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Chapter SIXTEEN supplies some details about the Battle of Armageddon and the complete and utter failure of Satan’s forces to move God and Jesus from their appointed places.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN speaks metaphorically about the man of sin’s worldwide satanic church. CHAPTER EIGHTEEN reveals what happens during that collapse.
CHAPTER NINETEEN tells of Jesus’ victorious return to earth and the beginning of His forever rule. CHAPTERS TWENTY and TWENTY-ONE show various odds and ends of the coming kingdom of heaven.
And, those are the MAIN points of the end times.

THE END TIMES WORLD IS A DARK, DARK PLACE. JESUS IS THE LIGHT.
The world–particularly the end times world–is a dark, dark place.
The darkness is caused by DECEPTION.

[One of the deceptions is the Satan-approved Bible translations which change 1JOHN 5:19 from “the whole world lieth in wickedness.” to “the whole world lies in the Wicked One.” But ANYONE who has studied the verse in the original Greek KNOWS that the original KJV translation is the CORRECT ONE.]
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

One of the nagging questions for believers during the end times is
“Why would ANYONE fight against God or Jesus Christ?”
Why would ANYONE take on the most powerful being EVER?
Are such futile fighters missing part of their brains?
After much thought (over the years), it has been decided that there are several cogent answers.
The FIRST of those answers has to do with the person’s BELIEF SYSTEM. IF a person has been taught from an early age that God does NOT exist (or that God is a weak God), then one can probably be excused from thinking that there’s not much downside to taking on such an entity.
OF COURSE, the creation of all things argue against such a teaching.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

It is an unfortunate circumstance, but BAD TEACHINGS lead to BAD THINKING and BAD DECISIONS.
BUT, someone who is REALLY interested in knowing the truth will be satisfied: so BAD TEACHING is only a hindrance, NOT a good reason to close one’s eyes and stick with that WRONG TEACHING.
ANOTHER reason why someone would fight against God the Creator of ALL THINGS, is that the person DOES NOT BELIEVE God is who His Word declares Him to be.
The most usual person suffering from this bad belief is someone who listens to Satan. IF one is listening to Satan, then one KNOWS that Satan doesn’t have a very good relationship with the truth.
A regular listener of Satan will have caught the devil in more than one untruth.
So why would ANYONE listen to the father of lies?
Because nonbelievers do not have all of the pertinent information about God, they suffer from ANOTHER deficiency: a lack of good, complete information.
This is a problem which man (by himself) CANNOT remedy. Only God can make the change, not man.
“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

NOW, man being man, man has been known to ‘hedge his bets.’
Why wouldn’t someone ‘hedge their bets’ on this most important of decisions?
The ONLY answer one may reasonably arrive at is that the person is not interested in ‘hedging his bets.’
In other words, the person is fairly certain that they are right and all of this ‘God talk’ is nothing more than nonsense from the weak- and primative-minded, intended to control all who pay attention to such tripe.
The reader might devote a few moments to PRAY for such people as those deluded enough to fight against the universe’s most powerful being.
And while he is PRAYING, the reader need devote a few moments to himself: that HE is NOT deluded by BAD THINKING or BAD TEACHING.

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

Chinese House Churches ‘Crazy for the Gospel’ – However, when it comes time for the Chinese to line up behind the man of sin, these ‘gospel-crazed’ Chinese will be fighting to get to the head of the line.

IN THE MEANTIME, readers will notice the USA’s sinking by the many (negative) changes which will be taking place.

Some of the changes have to do with the way one conducts his daily business with the world. Other changes have to do with the USA no longer receiving MOST FAVORED NATION status from the rest of the world.
IF one grew up in the United States, one was used to a standard of material wealth which was the envy of the REST OF THE WORLD–which made this material wealth possible.
As the circumstances have changed and the USA no longer is the recipient of the world’s wealth, it will become apparent to the reader in MANY little ways.
ONE of those ways is the state of the highways and streets across the fruited plain.
NO LONGER is America the home of smooth and easy driving on smooth and surfaced roads. Without the money it has enjoyed in the past, many roadways NOW suffer from an apparent lack of upkeep.
ANOTHER change of this sort has to do with the LACK of good-paying jobs which once seemed to be the birthright of the USA.
Regardless of what the media accounts claim (that Americans are suddenly lazy and do not want to work), jobs–other than minimum wage service jobs–are hard to come by.
The reader will, no doubt, have noticed several changes to the way he normally conducts his personal business.
These changes ALL have to do with making Revelation 13’s mark of the beast easier for future men to receive.
SOME of those changes are:
Many retail stores–including the largest ones–do NOT stock as many goods as have in the past.
A PUSH is on to get folks to buy ONLINE and have it delivered to the buyer. This is urged primarily as a way to save time (and money!)
More layers of approval are involved for ANYONE who buys or shops online. In order to pay for those things bought, a buyer must be APPROVED and his method of payment okayed BEFORE any transactions occur.
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

God’s Word declares one of the last methods which identify the man of sin and his system.
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

[Though the world’s celebrities (as well as OTHER rich and celebrated folk) have nothing but apparent scorn for 666 and all those who are queasy about the number, God’s Word informs the reader that there is a good reason for this unease.]
Has the reader noticed ANY of the changes which indicate the USA is NOT the same financial powerhouse it once was?

When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. “Journalists” are story-tellers. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes, there is an element of truth in their stories, but truth is not a requirement of what they do.
A Kraft Foods spokesman gave “no reasons” for the shortage.
Of course not–because there is no shortage.
Seriously, Kraft manufactures Velveeta. There is no reason they can not make more. It doesn’t contain any hard-to-get ingredients.
To help out, even the late night comics chipped in with several Velveeta brand jokes.

Americans are being treated to more paid advertisements masquerading as news stories. But that’s not surprising. After all, isn’t America the Home of Product Placement?
Kraft is just taking advantage of the system to promote Velveeta this way.
It is similar to the fake TIDE stories that run on local news stations and in the press every 4-6 months.
This is product placement (also called embedded marketing/advertising; also called advertorial) which uses the Corporate News Media instead of movies. More proof–as if any was needed–that NY Times chief-of-staff John Swinton knew what he was talking about when he declared: “We are intellectual prostitutes.”
Swinton made his declaration in 1880.
Do readers think it has gotten better or worse over the last 134 years?

Can readers spot the Orwellian Doublespeak? (Emphasis mine.)
“We encourage free speech and defend everyone’s right to express their points of view even if unpopular. But YouTube does not permit hate speech. “Hate speech” means content that promotes hatred or violence against members of a protected group (race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity). Sometimes there is a fine line between what is and what is not considered hate speech. If you’re not sure whether or not your content crosses the line, don’t post it.
“We encourage free speech” but do “not permit hate speech.”
WHO determines which is which?
WHO determines what constitutes “hate?”
WHO determines whether a group is “protected” or not?
Why, I believe all that is determined by whomever has control! Remember this short lesson. It’s in effect every day in the “Land of the Free.”
Free Speech = any approved speech
Here’s the way it works: it’s the elites prattling on about “free speech, free speech, free speech“–right up until the moment that they have ironclad control.
Then “free speech” is nothing more than a quaint notion.
For the elites, “free speech“–like “equality” and “brotherhood” and so many other concepts–is a vehicle to be ridden until other transportation can be secured.
Then it is discarded.
At some point, the Corporate Media–and that includes YouTube and other representations of the Corporate Media on the Internet–will morph into the Ministry of Truth.
NEWS FLASH: The system is going to crash–whether former middle class Americans without jobs tap into benefits they long paid for or not.
But by spreading the infamous doctrine of “The Cloward-Pivens strategy,” those who still have jobs (but who can see the writing on the wall) see each uptick in food stamp use as threatening the benefits they might use IF they ever needed them.
And increasingly, they feel they will have to resort to them at some point.
It was recently observed that man has such a hard time paying attention to the very clear warnings about the end times because man has such a hard time comprehending the meaning of words like ETERNAL, FOREVER and EVERLASTING.
Because man’s life here on earth is so short and fleeting, man is used to understanding time in very short increments, such as hours, minutes, days, months and years.
100 years is a LONG time for most men–particularly if one is referring to a lifespan.
BUT 100 years is a blink of an eye to God Almighty, who has ALWAYS existed and will always be.

In fact, both the Old and New Testaments point out the great difference between man, who is a creation with a short, finite life, and God Almighty, who has always existed (indeed, who created time from out of eternity for the use by man, who needs time to mark his short existence) and exists at every point on the time line we call eternity.

Man DOES struggle to wrap his head around concepts like FOREVER and ETERNITY.
Perhaps that is one reason why God’s promises of eternal life seemingly bounce off the ears of those who hear them.
The asteroid is called Bennu, and every six years, its egg-shaped orbital path brings it just 185,000 miles from Earth — roughly 53,000 miles closer than our moon. In about 200 years, there’s a 1-in-2,700 chance it could sail close enough for Earth’s gravity to reel it in. That would be very bad.
1- Man never does learn.
2- Man will never run low on arrogance.
3- Contrary to what the New Agers, scientists and public schools would have one believe: man does not evolve; man is not perfectible. Man is inherently fallen and evil. On his own, he will end up exactly where the Bible says he will end up.

Is there any evidence that the string-pullers want Americans to respect ANY system which believes in such “out-dated” concepts as “right and wrong?” Is there any proof that the ones calling the shots want Americans to give their allegiance to any power higher than the federal government?
Not one shred. Still, such stories persist because they do have a purpose.
Or they would not be in the Corporate Media rotation.
That purpose will be made apparent soon enough–perhaps even as soon as 2014?!?
THE INTOLERANCE OF THOSE WHO DISAGREE: Tolerance, love and brotherhood are a one-way street.
Your God and My Dignity – One could quickly note that any attempt at “dignity” absent God is a cruel sham–but we’ll refrain.
Why the restraint?
Because, buried amongst the normal blah-blah-blah of the homosexual’s incessant demands for one-way respect is a good point. That point is that today’s apostate American churches DO hold up the homosexual as a sort of existential threat. But the churches have a VERY GOOD reason. It has nothing to do with holiness or the Bible.
It has everything to do with the moral degeneracy of the churches.
Homosexuals join satanists and atheists as the last groups recalcitrant pew-sitters feel a moral superiority over.
With the occult and witchcraft rampant and pagan rituals, deceiving spirits and antichrist messages the only items on the American church menu, there are not many issues on which the churches exhibit any differences from the world.

So, homosexuals and “gay marriage” get trotted out by the wolves in the pulpits as tried-and-true methods of assuring those inhabiting the pews that they are good, moral, holy people of God.
That being said, the author’s linked piece is so much standing in the middle of a roadway screaming at the traffic to stop and travel only the direction HE wants.
There’s the usual “My intolerance is majestic; your intolerance is bigotry…”–a line of reasoning which makes just as much sense when employed by the sexual predator or axe murderer.
