“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
-–Matthew 25:13
WATCH AND PRAY:
TWO GREAT END TIMES COMMANDMENTS
Along with “take heed,” “watch” and “pray” are the commandments most often given for believers in the end times.
“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”
–Mark 13:33
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
–Luke 21:36
“If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”
–Revelation 3:3
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
–1 Peter 4:7
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”
–Colossians 4:2
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
–Matthew 25:13
While the world is physically preparing, believers are to depend on the Lord for their protection and provision.
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man”
–Jeremiah 17:5
“He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.”
–Proverbs 28:26
While the world will be howling at the return of Jesus, believers will be sheltered in the rock that is the Lord.
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
–Psalm 91:1-2
In the end times, believers are to remain sober-minded, stay alert and watch and pray so that the day of the LORD does not overtake them as a thief in the night.
Though every eye will see when Jesus is about to return, the world will neither be expecting nor watching for Him.
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.”
–Revelation 1:7
Even though the people of the world will see Him, the world will continue to listen to the lies of Satan: therefore, sudden destruction will come upon the deceived world.
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
–1 Thessalonians 5:3
“Watch” and “Pray” are both important parts of end times spiritual preparation. Indeed, they are both commandments and duties.
Though disappointment is sometimes a temptation and the sheer wickedness and deception of the end times world seems overwhelming at times, obedient believers will NOT be dismayed.
Instead, they will both watch and pray.
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
–Mark 13:37
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
—John 20:31
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
“U.S. officials say that ISIS is facing a severe strain on its cash supply. ISIS blames it on poor oversight, economic sanctions, and betting all their money on the Carolina Panthers.”

Remember Gov. Scott Walker? The guy who was the first to drop from the bloated GOP presidential field (back in September 2015) after gathering a whole ONE PERCENT support (if that)?
Walker is the Early 2015 Poster Boy for the the 2016 election. As such, he will be discussed and fussed over by the Corporate Media for a few months as they attempt to convince Americans that yes, Scott Walker really, really matters.
He doesn’t.
In a few months, the media will discover some terrible flaw in Walker and he will fade from the public eye, having fulfilled his role as an early campaign distraction.
Scott Walker is part of the little play the media is putting on for Americans called Campaign 2016. Everything the media writes between now and the election is only to hide one fact from readers/viewers: the next president was selected long ago.

Everything that is–and has been–written is merely to persuade Americans they should accept and embrace the selectee.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
—John 20:31
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

“A new study from the University of Sussex found that horses can recognize human emotions based on our facial expressions. Yet another reason you should never play poker with a horse — and they never pitch in for the pizza.”

OF COURSE, during an “apocalypse,” when everyone is going hungry, probably no one will think to clean out a Wal-Mart or Kroger. So, the readers of this piece of end times propaganda will most likely have those places all to their selves, right?
One understands the world’s irresistible urge to prepare physically for the end times.
However, it is impossible.
Still, there is never a lack of men who believe they can outsmart God.
WATCH AND PRAY: TWO GREAT DUTIES AND COMMANDMENTS OF THE END TIMES
Along with “take heed,” “watch” and “pray” are the commandments most often given for believers in the end times.
“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”
–Mark 13:33

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
Chelyabinsk meteor – This happened in 2013. It is a good example of the nonsense fed to those who depend on the Corporate Media for their information. A “meteor” supposedly flashed across Russia. However, when reviewing the videos of the event, it’s hard not to notice that the “meteor” has an exhaust trail. Later, a Russian politician accused the USA of testing a rocket over Russia when it was shot down by the Russians. What really took place? It’s anyone’s guess, but it’s hard to believe anyone who saw the video would believe the meteor story. 1491 people were injured in the crash and explosion that followed, “according to reports.”
At some point, one gets weary of the long-thought-out lies of the Corporate Media and their endlessss reasons for the complete failure of the puppets in DC.
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
—Luke 21:36
A discussion recently took place concerning what one might do to prepare for what’s soon to be coming upon the earth.
The number one suggestion was to believe on Jesus Christ, place your complete trust in Him for eternal salvation and be born again.
The number two suggestion was to obey the commands which Jesus gave concerning the end times.
First and foremost among these commands was to “be not deceived.” By being born again, one receives the Holy Spirit, which will lead the believer into “all truth“–IF one listens.
Secondly, believers are commanded to take heed (be alert), to watch and to pray always. Luke 21:36 gives additional, specific information that the believer is to “pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass.”
That is the goal of praying always: to be ready; to be prepared for what is coming; to be spiritually fortified. To obey the commands of Jesus Christ and to be found worthy to stand before Him when He returns.
And that was pretty much the extent of that particular conversation.
“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”
—Mark 13:33
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
