A recent topic for thought occurred when while thinking of the various aspects of the last days before the return of Jesus Christ.
“I wonder what one worries about during the last days?”
After just a small amount of thinking, it was decided that this question–like so many others involving those involving that time period–has TWO answers: one, IF one is a believer in God’s Word; and a second IF one is NOT.
The answer is VERY simple and straightforward IF one is a believer.
“Not much.”
The believer has his reasons for taking this approach.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

God LOVES His followers.
The believer, because he has the Holy Spirit of God residing in him–AND because of his previous experiences with the subject matter– KNOWS that God really does care for him.
“He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.”

The believer KNOWS the REAL power of prayer–real prayer with the Holy Spirit of God helping that prayer to be heard by God, who will answer his requests because He answers ALL He hears–unlike those who pretend to be children of God.
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

SO, even as the world around him appears to be falling apart, the BELIEVER should NOT worry about much during the last days.
Of course, the BELIEVER is human and cannot miss the odd happenings of the last days which are NOT normal.
So, the BELIEVER is tested in this way.
IF one is an UNBELIEVER, then one has NO assurances by the most powerful entity in the cosmos.
NOT for protection and safety.
NOT for provision and deliverance from want.
NOT for ANYTHING.
Mostly, all the UNBELIEVER has to comfort him are his associations with other workers of iniquity AND his previous preparations (which he will find are woefully INADEQUATE).
SURE, those preparations looked good BEFORE any of God’s judgments began to fall.
BUT, once the time before the return of Jesus Christ REALLY gets underway, the UNBELIEVER will discover just how much he NEEDS a God he does NOT believe in.
SO, during the last days, there are TWO very different people with TWO very different ideas of what they should be concerned about.
TO which group does the reader belong?
WHY or WHY NOT?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE END TIMES WORLD IS A DARK, DARK PLACE. JESUS IS THE LIGHT.
The world–particularly the end times world–is a dark, dark place.
The darkness is caused by DECEPTION.
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

[One of the deceptions is the Satan-approved Bible translations which change 1JOHN 5:19 from “the whole world lieth in wickedness.” to “the whole world lies in the Wicked One.” But ANYONE who has studied the verse in the original Greek KNOWS that the original KJV translation is the CORRECT ONE.]
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

Though the world be covered in the darkness of deception, Jesus is the light of the world.

The BELIEVER is tested because God has declared that the end times are a time of testing for BELIEVERS.
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

So the believer will experience all of this MOSTLY because of the wrath of Satan–for all of those who are followers of Jesus.
THEREFORE, believers face the wrath of Satan–while UNBELIEVERS face the wrath of God, who created ALL.
“God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.”

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

“I THOUGHT I’D BE LONG GONE BEFORE ANY OF THIS HAPPENED!”
Although it has been awhile since it was last heard, there once was a thought which was commonly expressed during ANY discussions about the end times.
“I thought I’d be long gone before any of this happened!”
From listening to the REST of what the person said, it was discovered that this thought was a way of avoiding any talk of the end times. That is, the person would open with that thought and then look around AS IF that was all there was to the conversation.
However, after MORE thought was devoted to the topic, it was revealed that this thought was merely a way of saying, “I haven’t thought about it much. But I have my reasons why that is. Here’s one.”
“I thought I’d be long gone before any of this happened!”
AFTER some further reflection on the matter, it was determined that more than a few folks REALLY did NOT think much about the end times–though they have been set down in God’s Word for CENTURIES–and REALLY are surprised by both the events which are taking place AND the rapidity of those events happening.
Has the reader ever expressed this thought?
Which reason did the reader believe was behind such an admission?

“Journalists” are story-tellers. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes, there is an element of truth in their stories, but truth is not a requirement of what they do.
The GOP’s wrong-headed obsession with ‘the Christian Candidate’ – Of course there are no Christian candidates–particularly at the national level of politics. There are only imposters, pretenders and wolves. And those who believe that religious politics will rescue the country will soon see the results of that folly.
Revelation 13:4, 7-8 lays it all out.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Among those looking for religious politics to provide a savior are the many imposters, apostates and wolves in sheep’s clothing who circulate among the lost in the apostate churches.
By a GREAT COINCIDENCE, it just happens to contradict most of the other 5000+ surviving Bible manuscripts. And in a way that attacks the validity of much of Christianity. In this way, it resembles its brother manuscript Codex Vaticanus, supposedly found in a Vatican trashcan.
No wonder Syriac Sinaiticus is one of the world’s most revered artifacts.
Those who claim to be atheists define themselves by their claim that they do not believe in God.
Atheists claim that they play no favorites: they say they do not believe in ANY god.
But God’s Word clearly states there are NO other gods.
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me”

“Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.”

SO the atheist is saying there is no God.
The chatter about not believing in ANY god?
It’s just chatter: there are no other gods.
SO, in effect, the atheist is really saying, “I don’t believe in God.”
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

No, they all don’t necessarily dance to the same tune.
But they all dance for the same master.
There’s only one political team and both political parties (and all of the puppets) play for that team.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

“Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?”

Synopsis: Jonah was ordered to deliver a message to Nineveh: repent or die.
Jonah did not want to go on this mission and tried to run from God.
After a few adventures at sea, Jonah obeyed. After warning Ninevah of God’s judgment, the city sincerely repented and cried out for forgiveness. God heard the citizens of Ninevah and withheld the destruction.
This angered Jonah as he hung around outside the city, waiting for its destruction.
God gently asked him if “Doest thou well to be angry?” During the discussion, God gave Jonah some of the reasons He had for staying His hand. “more than sixscore thousand persons that can not discern between their right hand and their left hand” (120,000 children and infants).
“…and also much cattle.”
Yes, God loves all of His creation.
But He is a righteous, holy and perfect Judge.
His perfect love is balanced by His perfect judgment.
His hand will not be stayed forever.
Do you know the One who makes intercession for those who call out to Him?
One of life’s small pleasures is interacting with a whole cast of characters.
Even though most of the characters one interacts with are lost.
Even though some belong to antichrist cults. Obediently refraining from being unequally yoked, often such characters can provide a refreshingly honest view of life from the workers of iniquity’s perspective.
This is refreshing because most of the other deceivers one engages speak as if they are from some sort of Jane Austen novel where all of the characters are saying one thing and doing something else altogether different.
A few are involved in various criminal or shady dealings
More than a few are intentional deceivers playing their end times parts. Most of this group belongs to the “respectable crowd.”
Some are imposters.
However, most of the deceivers are unaware they have been deceived themselves.
Most hold Jesus Christ, the one cure for their hopelessness, at arm’s length.
Others tolerate talk of the Bible and Jesus Christ (but immediately try to change the subject–to ANY other topic).
Many are church folk, who provide an entirely different interaction.
And response.
Whether it’s a clueless lost teen OR an antichrist deceiving member of a secret society/coven/cult OR a smug person of little wisdom who has had the world pulled over his eyes OR someone making up lie after lie in order to weave a deceptive legend about themselves, they all have one thing in common.
No matter how bad, there are none wicked enough that it is wished they might end up in hellfire.
As such, one offers such characters the gospel.
And prays.
Jesus draws all men to Himself. [John 12:32] But ultimately, the person involved has to sincerely and truly accept the free gift of salvation.
The enemy works hard to ensure that man looks to anything or anyone else other than Jesus Christ. Satan flashes any number of distractions and makes a vast array of promises to his followers (which he has no intention of keeping) in order to keep the lost from the narrow way.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Ultimately, we are all just passing through this life on our way to an eternal destination: wherever that may be.
IF the reader be one who doesn’t believe this, it does not matter.
One can refuse to believe in gunpowder, but if one gets shot point blank with a gun, one’s unbelief will not alter the final result.

By a great coincidence, when the police arrived at the shooting scene, the boyfriend was outside the house. In what had to be a world-record for investigation, police almost immediately declared the boyfriend had nothing to do with the shooting.
And that’s how it’s done countless times a year.
Once upon a time, when investigating such investigations, the following maxim was observed:

If the police immediately say, “There’s no foul play” then it’s correct to suspect that foul play has taken place.
Else how would police know before conducting any investigation? When “no foul play” is declared before an investigation has taken place, then the decision of “no foul play” was made before anyone could know if foul play occurred or not.
“Every year, 2 billion of your tax dollars are spent holding those undocumented immigrants and illegal border crossers, many for no reason other than their undocumented status.”
Essentially, these people not only broke the law, they traveled across the border to break it.
BUT the article attempts to justify this by pointing out:
“We’re not talking about murderers here.”
Though in some cases, we ARE “talking about murderers here”.
The end times are not only a time of lawlessness, they are a time of lawlessness which attempts to justify itself.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
–Isaiah 5:20
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
—Hebrews 9:27
“Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

Here’s a clue: when someone insists they traveled to heaven and back, it is a fraudulent claim.
Notwithstanding the apostle Paul’s account in 2CORINTHIANS.
“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”
–2CORINTHIANS 12:2-4
CONTRAST Paul account–that what was seen “is not lawful for a man to utter.”–with the very wordy accounts of all of the contemporary heaven travelers.
As a little inside joke, the book’s authors surnames were Malarkey.
Because they really enjoy writing Obama articles which make particular readers angry. This was written to make certain readers scared and angry–that’s a two-fer.
When Bush II was in office, they wrote the same type of articles–only then, it was to make “liberals” angry.
The idea is for part of the country to really hate the president. Then, whenever that president steps down, the part of the country that hates the old guy will be so thankful and happy that someone—anyone–new is coming into office they give the new guy a “pass” for a good while.
This is an old Corporate Media trick, but this writer began noticing it during the Bush I administration.
When Bill Clinton took over, there were so many people who were just happy that Bush I was gone; that Clinton wasn’t Bush. By the time the Clinton’s left office, Americans were ready for someone new: Bush II was given a huge honeymoon period. Conservatives KNEW that Bush II would restore the “dignity” back to the presidency after eight years of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s criminal shenanigans.
So what if liberals knew Bill Clinton wasn’t really a liberal?
So what if his policies were suspiciously like H.G.W. Bush?
At least he wasn’t Bush!
He’s one of us!
Conservatives seethed for eight years because they “knew” that Clinton wasn’t even a legitimate president. Ross Perot–the billionaire who was just an ordinary guy (sound familiar?)–ran twice and Clinton never even got 50% of the vote in either election.
Clinton was illegitimate.
The Corporate Media then enjoyed eight years of writing Dubya and Evil Dick Cheney stories that made “liberals” foam at the mouth. The Yale graduate Bush II particularly enjoyed mispronouncing words, especially “nuclear.” That convinced liberals he was a moron.
So what if conservatives knew Bush II wasn’t really a conservative?
So what if his policies were suspiciously like Clinton’s?
At least he wasn’t Clinton!
He’s one of us!
Liberals stewed for eight years because they “knew” that Bush wasn’t even a legitimate president. He stole the election–both times. The first time in Florida, the second time in Ohio.
Bush II was illegitimate.
Now America is enduring the Obama period.
And the Corporate Media never missed a beat manipulating readers. The Obamas seem to enjoy doing the things which infuriate “conservative” Americans. Taking long, expensive vacations or playing golf when the country seems to on its way to perdition. The media enjoys writing articles about Obama riding a bike like a girl, bowing to foreign dignitaries and dropping hints that this president is an undercover Muslim.
So what if Obama is not really a liberal?
What if he continued many of the hated policies of Bush II?
At least he isn’t Bush II! He’s one of us!
Conservatives fumed for eight years because they “know” that Obama isn’t even a legitimate president. He isn’t even eligible to be president. Obama is a foreigner.
Obama was illegitimate.
However, a very little-noticed fact of the 2008 election: neither candidate was constitutionally eligible. Neither was born in the USA.
And now, it is 2018 and our president is Donald Trump.
And–surprise!–according to the same Corporate Media:
In fact, they’re not even particularly clever counterfeits.
IF the wicked and lost can see through Kenneth Copeland, Paula White and company, real believers would have no trouble identifying them for what they really are.
Which is one way to spot counterfeits: they listen to these wolves in sheep’s clothing and try to defend their heresies.
