IN the times in which we live, one is sometimes tempted to forsake the “assembling of ourselves together.” This goes hand-in-hand with the difficulty of finding a church which sticks strictly to the Word of God.
As opposed to finding plenty of churches which claim to stick to the Bible but who insert tons of their own doctrines, advice, speculation, etc.
Almost inevitably, a church will be recommended, visited and evaluated. Almost as inevitable, it will be found wanting in the very basics of what a Christian church should be.
True believers–very familiar with this situation–will offer their sympathy and talk then usually turns to “There will be better times when Jesus returns.”
The more worldly usually respond with the devil’s favorite retort: “There are no perfect churches.”
The time may soon come when believers will find it necessary to assemble together as they once did: in homes outside the buildings of an organized church. Which is one huge reason organized religion is pushing the retooled Shepherding Movement, intent on getting everyone “submitted” to a higher church authority.
It won’t do to have independent, Bible-believing true believers outside the authority of the wolves, hireling and false prophets and apostles of the apostate whore Church of the dragon.
PREACH THE GOSPEL!
But fellowship with other believers is a blessing, no matter how few may be the number. At one such recent assembling, many topics were touched upon. One topic which invites further discussion is preaching the gospel and what that does and does not entail.
Many confess a reluctance to share (preach) the gospel with unbelievers because they have the errant notion that they will “not do it right” or that they will “mess it up.” This comes from false teachers who exalt themselves whenever someone makes a profession of faith for Jesus.
We are to preach the gospel. The Holy Spirit will lead the person to the Lord–not us. Then, that person will either accept or reject the free gift of eternal salvation. Other than preaching the gospel (a very short and concise message), we really have nothing to do with it.
The latest craze from the apostate Church is that preaching the gospel is no longer enough; that instead of preaching the gospel, man should insert himself between the Holy Spirit and the possible convert. The “convert” should be “discipled” in the fables of man; that prideful man does a better job of “schooling” the “convert’ than the Holy Spirit.
This is the wide road to further apostasy.
Which, it’s strongly suspected, is why “discipleship” is such a big topic with the apostates.
There is much confusion today over what constitutes the Church, the Body of Christ, the apostates and the buildings Americans erect in which to gather themselves together. There is a great confusion between church buildings and the assembling of true believers; some of this is real confusion; some of this is feigned.
Boehner weighs expanding lawsuit against Obama – Blah blah blah. Let’s see: you have the power to constitutionally SHUT DOWN the executive branch by restricting funds BUT you file a lawsuit?!? Even better, you don’t use your power, you “weigh your options on expanding your lawsuit?!?”
IF John Boehner ever runs for president, maybe he’ll ask his buddy Barack to be his VP?

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
-–1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – (h/t:B)
Who made the following statements? Answer at bottom of page.
1- “Many sweat to reconcile St. Paul and St. James, but in vain. ‘Faith justifies’ and ‘faith does not justify’ contradict each other flatly. “
2- “I maintain that some Jew wrote it [the Book of James]who probably heard about Christian people but never encountered any.”
3- “We should throw the Epistle of James out of this school”
4- “The best way to get rid of the Devil, if you cannot kill it with the words of Holy Scripture, is to rail at and mock him. Music, too, is very good; music is hateful to him, and drives him far away.”
#4 directly contradicts Scripture. In fact, God’s Word states than those who rail at the devil do not know what they do and bring corruption and destruction on themselves.
Not even angels rail at the devil.
“Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.”
—Jude 1:8-10
“But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;”
5- “The Devil, too, sometimes steals human children; it is not infrequent for him to carry away infants within the first six weeks after birth, and to substitute in their place imps….”
6- “If I had to baptise a Jew, I would take him to the bridge of the Elbe, hang a stone around his neck and push him over with the words ‘I baptise thee in the name of Abraham’.”
7- “Moreover, that it is most solemnly and strictly commanded that we must be baptized or we cannot be saved…”
8- “Further, we say that we are not so much concerned to know whether the person baptized believes or NOT; for on that account Baptism does not become invalid…”
“And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.”
–Luke 6:12 – (h/t:B)
If ever one of woman born might have lived without prayer, it was our spotless, perfect a Lord, and yet none was ever so much in supplication as He! Such was His love to His Father, that He loved much to be in communion with Him: such His love for His people, that He desired to be much in intercession for them. The fact of this eminent prayerfulness of Jesus is a lesson for us—He hath given us an example that we may follow in His steps. The time He chose was admirable, it was the hour of silence, when the crowd would not disturb Him; the time of inaction, when all but Himself had ceased to labour; and the season when slumber made men forget their woes, and cease their applications to Him for relief. While others found rest in sleep, He refreshed Himself with prayer. The place was also well selected. He was alone where none would intrude, where none could observe: thus was He free from Pharisaic ostentation and vulgar interruption. Those dark and silent hills were a fit oratory for the Son of God.
The favorite topics of apostate church-dom are: homosexuals, satanists, atheists and TV preachers (such as Joel Osteen). The reason?
Because even most of the tares sitting in the pews can tell that homosexuals, satanists, atheists and TV preachers are not from God. It enables the churches to feel morally superior to someone.
HINT: Satan will not disguise his ministers as homosexuals. Satan’s agents will not show up as atheists or satanists. Some will come to the end times party dressed as TV preachers.
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
—2 Corinthians 11:14-15
When the dragon shows up in his end times Church, he will look a LOT like the ones sitting in the church at present.
That’s biblical. IF the reader doesn’t like it, best take it up with the author of the Book.
Rick Warren, senior pastor of Saddleback Church, and Russell Moore, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission, will meet Pope Francis and offer an “evangelical Protestant” perspective as part of a Vatican colloquium on marriage and family held this November 17-19.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?”
Two other Anglican leaders—the United Kingdom’s Michael Nazir-Ali and Nigeria’s Nicholas Okoh—are also among the 32 speakers, as are Boston Pentecostal leader Jacqueline C. Rivers and Anabaptist leader Johann Christoph Arnold. Mormon, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh leaders have also been invited.
The dragon has readied his Church to worship his man of sin.
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.
