Biblical eschatology (the study of the end times) has been so corrupted, Christians of the early Church wouldn’t have any idea what it is that modern church-goers babble about.
End Times Prophecy – So much of what passes for “end times prophecy” is usually an advertisement for someone’s particular deception.
The sad truth is: most “end times prophecy” writing is a mess.

The linked piece [End Times Prophecy] begins promisingly enough: the author has changed from a “pre-tribulation rapture” belief (totally unbiblical) to a “pre-wrath rapture” belief (only slightly more biblical). The pre-tribulation rapture doctrine is such a mess that even those without discernment are beginning to see its many, many problems. Mainly, it cannot be found in the Bible.

Because so many of their false doctrines about the end times are springing leaks, the mystery of iniquity is therefore offering “back-up plans” for the blind.
The increasingly-popular pre-wrath position is one of these Plan Bs.
Strictly speaking, the Bible does teach a “pre-wrath rapture.”
The problem is: what is being taught as “pre-wrath” is just another unbiblical bag of gobbledygook. This post highlights the popular “prewrath” deal as presented to an apostate church: it gives up one egregious deception (pre-tribulation rapture) in exchange for reinforcing a host of other deceptions.
The problem here is that there is still the obligatory end times charts and bells and whistles “proving” much that was foreign to Christianity for centuries (until the last 180 yeas or so): that there is a seven-year period of “Daniel’s Seventieth Week” (try to find that being taught in the Christian Church for the first 1800 years) known as The Tribulation and that period will host all sorts of sham end times events–as have been taught by the deceived and deceiving.

These events (a third Jewish temple, the Super Evil Antichrist, a peace treaty, etc) will happen (the mystery of iniquity hasn’t invested so much time and resources in their deceptive narratives for nothing. It takes a lot of money to make a “Left Behind” movie.)–but they will be satanic deceptions.

And they WILL deceive.
They have already deceived 90+% of Americans who profess Jesus with their lips now.
The finished job of deception will be completed at a future date.
“…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:”
—Revelation 12:9
.”..and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

Meanwhile, church-goers will go right on ignoring their Bibles (having outsourced such hard work as Bible study to the “professionals“). Evil men and seducers in the churches will continue smiling, all the while deceiving (and being deceived).
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
–2Timothy 3:13
And true believers will be further marginalized by the churches while watching for that soon-coming day of His return.
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
–Mark 13:37
DOES the reader have a colorful end times chart or timeline decorated with all sorts of happenings and events?
Does the reader READ his Bible, as recommended by the churches?
OR does the reader STUDY his Bible as commanded by God’s Word?
There’s still time to change directions (repent) and cry out to a merciful God to open your eyes.

THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
