Strong Delusion: God Allows Men to Believe Lies, Deception

STRONG DELUSION FOR THOSE WHO DON’T LOVE THE TRUTH: One of Satan’s greatest lies in the end times is that many are saved.

One of Satan’s greatest lies in the end times is that many are saved.

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. “
Matthew 7:14

But many occupying space in the apostate churches do not believe God’s Word.  So, Jesus put it another way.

“wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:”
Matthew 7:13

We serve a gracious and merciful God.  He gives every man enough faith to save himself.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Romans 10:3

God then draws every man, through His Son, Jesus Christ, to Himself. Every man must then make a decision either to follow God–or to reject Him.

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
John 12:32

Unfortunately, most men reject Jesus Christ–though many pretend to honor Him with empty words.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
Matthew 15:8

God will allow the many doomed to destruction in eternal hellfire to believe the lies which they insist on believing. God will blind their eyes and send them strong delusion.  Not because God wants to see men perish–to the contrary, God does not want to see any perish–but because men DEMAND to believe fables, traditions, deceptions and lies instead of the truth of the gospel.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9

Each person is deceived by their own sinful nature.

“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”
James 1:14

So God will allow them to wallow in their lies. Note it is God Himself who blinds the eyes of unbelievers–not Satan. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that Satan possesses such power.

“Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”
Isaiah 6:10

“That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
John 12:38-40

“And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.”
2 Corinthians 3:13-14

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-4

During the end times, God Himself will send a strong delusion so that ALL of those who believe deception and lies will continue in their deception until the very end.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

Seeing how strong delusion is coming (some make the case that it’s already here), it behooves every man to obey the commandments of God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Matthew 24:4

Does the reader have a love for the truth?

Or does he believe the cunningly devised fables of the media and so-called “Christian books” or “Christian teachers“?

Do the reader have a love for the truth?

Or has he shut his mind to the glorious light of Jesus Christ and retreated into the darkness of the satanic apostasy which rules the visible churches?

Though the Bible declares most will choose lies, the time for choosing the truth is now.

“behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
2 Corinthians 6:2

A love of the truth: it is essential to ANYONE who wants to prepare effectively for the end times.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:1-4

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
