Devils and Evil Spirits – End Times Prophecy Report

The Mind of Satan

Several years ago, someone asked “Why does Satan do the things he does, knowing that in the end he utterly fails?”

To cover up that NO answer was readily available at the time, a few jokes were made of an answer.

“Maybe the devil is just not that smart?”

“Maybe misery loves company?”

“Maybe no one has explained to Satan that he is a LOSER?”

“Maybe the devil is the shortest of short term thinkers?”

In the intervening months, a little more thought (at odd times) has gone into providing a REAL answer to that question.

Has the reader EVER known anyone who was so full of himself that he thought he was IT?

Maybe that is Satan?

After all, he does think he is better than his creator.

“Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?”
–Isaiah 14:11-17

Someone who believes they are as SMART and ultimately, as POWERFUL as God is hopelessly deluded.

Perhaps Satan–like all of his followers–is deceived?

One empire of men, built on deception and teetering whenever the winds of truth blow into town.

Satan made his play for ultimate power in the universe and failed miserably. Perhaps this failure not only DRIVES him to commit great EVIL, but also blinds his mind to the truth of the One he sought to overthrow?

Satan’s workers not only DECEIVE other men, they are DECEIVED themselves.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
2TIMOTHY 3:13

Although God calls Satan a “man” in the Isaiah passage, MOST men do NOT think of Satan as being a “man.”

HOWEVER, IF Satan IS a man, then believers are COMMANDED to pray for him.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men”
–1TIMOTHY 2:1

Perhaps Satan is so eaten up by ‘What if’s,’ he cannot think straight himself?

Satan is USUALLY thought of as a POWERFUL force of evil–and that is correct. Satan is powerful, however, because he is so deceptive and so good at substituting whatever it is he is selling for the truth. The MIND of Satan–after one strips away all of the baggage–is what is powerful.

One mind: committed to doing GREAT evil, but commanded by God to do so as well.

Apparently, Satan is NOT a powerful creature bent on destroying folks due to his great strength or spiritual power.

During the end times, Satan turns to the spirits of devils to gather the kings of men to battle God and His armies at Armageddon.

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon [Satan], and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
–Revelation 16:13-14

HOWEVER, the reader would do well to remember NOT to engage in ANY conversations with Satan.

In addition, the reader would do well to remember NOT to bandy words with Satan.

A person could get lost wandering around in the mind of Satan.

Satan may be limited in his physical abilities, BUT his mind is his biggest weapon!

DO NOT RAIL at the devil.

“Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.”
–2PETER 2:11

Stay away from Satan and perhaps he will overlook you.

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

The End Times World Cleans Up the Demonic

God’s Word declares that, during the end times, DEMONS will be the possessors of GREAT supernatural power–which the dragon (Satan) will utilize in his quest to rule the earth.

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
–Revelation 16:13-14

In addition, the EVIL (UNCLEAN) SPIRITS which make up the demonic, TORMENT man–as they always have. They mostly do this torment while housed in a human host.

BUT, not always.

“And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He [Jesus] answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.”

So, while the world calls these entities “demons,” God’s Word calls these entities “evil spirits,” “unclean [or “foul“] spirits” or DEVILS.

REGARDLESS of what one calls them, they create a number of problems for man–including MODERN man.

“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”
–Luke 13:11-13

And MODERN man–who is a DECEIVED creature–not only cleans up the demonic: MODERN man WORSHIPS demons!

In particular, man worships devils (demons) during the end times.

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils…”
–Revelation 9:20

NOW, demons cover the earth, looking for unwary souls.

BUT, the world–which is temporarily ruled by Satan, who is the PRINCE of this world–does NOT want man to know about his adversaries.

One cannot find a solution if one does not know the problem.

To help along this on-going campaign, the world ‘cleans up’ the demonic.

This is done by not dealing with men honestly.

For CENTURIES, men told stories of elves, gnomes, fairies and other ‘magical’ beings.

In almost EVERY case, these were other names for demonic entities.

These stories helped serve as a WARNING to others who might come in contact with demonic beings.

ANYONE who is familiar with the collections of folk stories known as “fairy tales,” can KNOW this because in almost EVERY story, the elves (who were NOT the benign helpers of humans) especially were tormenting the humans in their ‘fairy tales.’ Sometimes, the humans left offerings so the demons would leave them alone. Sometimes, not.

At any rate, for CENTURIES, man KNEW that elves, gnomes, fairies and other ‘magical’ creatures were demonic and meant them NO good.

This has changed in the 20th century. The stories of J.R.R. Tolkien featured ELVES as being HELPFUL to men. This is not true.

A famous witch once made the statement “I come from a family of witches. While you were learning the 23rd Psalm, I was reading Tolkien and CS Lewis.”

Tolkien was only PART of the ‘clean up’ which went on.

Disney turned a fairy into a cute, little teen–instead of a TORMENTER. It gave this FAIRY a cute name (‘Tinkerbell’) and voila!–Moderns assumed fairies were benign and would help you.

The world will continue to clean up the demonic.

The world continues to do this by dismissing ANYONE who has had contact with the demonic–regardless of what evidence or proof exists.

An IMPORTANT point for the reader to remember: There are no “MAGICAL” creatures: there is only the power of the demonic.

Meanwhile, the demonic will continue to torment unwary men.

IN THIS REGARD: life, during the end times, will continue much as it has for centuries.

Satan is the ENEMY of Man, NOT His Friend

Satan is a liar: a manipulative liar.

BUT, Satan APPEARS to be a sincere friend of the reader, who ONLY wants to help.

Which is it?

As usual, God’s Word gives us the TRUTH of the matter.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”
–1PETER 5:9

“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
–Revelation 12:12

Satan is NO friend of ANY man: Satan is man’s GREATEST enemy.

The workers of iniquity would have their adherents believe that Satan is the enemy of GOD. He is NOT. Satan is PRIMARILY the enemy of MAN.

Yes, man sins (Sinful behavior usually gets a boost from Satan).

BUT God provides a way out from under that sin.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
–1JOHN 1:9

IF man will only confess his sin, God will forgive.

HOWEVER, Satan is in the mix–so Satan tries to convince man that sin is NATURAL.

IF man listens to Satan, then man DIES eternally.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
–Romans 6:23

To the reader: DO NOT LISTEN TO SATAN!

CONFESS YOUR SIN.

DO NOT TRY TO JUSTIFY IT in any way.

CONFESS YOUR SIN and LIVE!

JUSTIFY YOUR SIN and DIE!

Remember: Satan is NOT the friend of man!

Satan is man’s greatest enemy: listen to Satan and DIE ETERNALLY!

The choice is completely the reader’s choice.

WHAT does the reader believe about Satan?

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

Fighting Through the End Times Requires MORE than Battles Against Just Flesh-and-Blood

There is a SPIRITUAL component to the end times that the US government officially DENIES.

The United States may be the ONLY country which spends a LOT of time and money and other resources convincing its citizens that the demonic is nothing more than a scary bedtime story.

As famed horror writer Anne Rice once put it:

“And no nation or tribe to my knowledge has not acknowledged that there are many invisible beings, and that they divide into good spirits and evil spirits, according to how they benefit man.”

OF COURSE, Ms Rice conveniently forgot to mention the good old U.S. of A.!

The USA (as befits a nation which has challenged the basics of God’s Word from the beginning) has assigned the demonic a part in the ‘scary story’ section.

(One cannot do battle against those entitities in which one does NOT believe.)

Aiding the mis-steps have been those ‘famed Bible teachers.’

The Bible tells us that demons are fallen angels who joined Satan in his rebellion against God and who were defeated and cast out of heaven along with Satan (Revelation 12:7-9).
—What Does the Bible Say About Demons?

OF COURSE, the Bible is COMPLETELY silent about demons being ‘fallen angels who joined Satan in his rebellion against God’ BUT, the churches of Satan will help out in ANY way they can.

IN FACT, God’s Word tells us that the fallen angels are in CHAINS until the day of judgment.

” And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”
–Jude 1:6

“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment”
–2PETER 2:4

So according to God’s Word, the fallen angels were NOT out roaming around, seeing what mischief they might get into: they were in CHAINS, in DARKNESS, awaiting the day of their judgment.

SO, fallen angels are NOT demons–although they can perform evil deeds for all those who plead with them–such as Satan, the dragon BEFORE the battle of Armageddon.

” And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
–Revelation 16:13-14

Demons are evil spirits, created by God for His purposes. The reader (who has been RELENTLESSLY misled that demons are servants of SATAN) can KNOW this, as God’s great end times army is composed of little more than demons.

“A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?”

Q: What kind of soldiers are NOT injured by falling upon a sword?

A: The soldiers who make up the demonic army of God Almighty!

Demons (the Bible calls them ‘devils’) are in reality, EVIL (unclean) SPIRITS. We are told as much in Mark 5.

“And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.”
–Mark 5:1-12

In Mark’s fifth chapter, the entity within the possessed man is called both ‘an unclean spirit’ AND ‘a devil.’

What does all of this mean for the end times?

The battles of the believer will NOT ONLY be against flesh-and-blood, but against the demonic as well, BUT particularly Satan (the dragon).

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”
–1PETER 5:8

The spiritual component will be VERY apparent during the battles of the last days–and there will be NO ‘bystanders’ in such a time. ALL must choose a side.

To all who do NOT believe in spiritual beings, woe to you as you find out differently in the days before Jesus returns.

To all who DO believe in spiritual beings: GET READY!

One will need to keep all of his wits about him when the demonic comes calling.

Unfamiliar Information About Familiar Spirits

All of the world is agog over “The Mayfair Witches.” It is a HEAVILY-PROMOTED television production which covers the three HEAVILY-PROMOTED books by Anne Rice which make up the tale of the family of witches known as the Mayfair Witches.

The TV story is about the family of witches and their wayward servant, a familiar spirit named Lasher attached to the family for CENTURIES.

As with the books, the TV show presents the familiar spirit as a GIFT to the previously-powerless witches–instead of the ‘abomination’ which God’s Word labels such spirits.

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12

“Abomination” ORIGINALLY had to do with the sense of smell: it was an evil so wicked that the behavior gave off an unpleasant smell to God.

So, according to God’s Word, consulting with a familiar spirit (a type of spirit which attaches itself to a person or family) is an ABOMINATION.

BUT, according to the world, a familiar spirit is a source of POWER and/or PLEASURE to the person consulting it.

Because those who consult with familiar spirits are reluctant to share any information about the PROBLEMS associated with such entities, that information may be UNFAMILIAR to many readers.

IF one reads the Mayfair witches stories, MANY of the Mayfair women suffer tragedies, which they do NOT blame on their familiar spirit. The family even makes up tales to explain away misfortunes and emphasize the trinkets and sexual favors which are provided by Lasher.

Lasher manipulates the women of the family for CENTURIES for his own evil purposes, but the women of the family provide cover for the wily spirit because they enjoy the trinkets and sexual dalliances provided by their familiar.

When something untoward happens to a woman of the family due to Lasher’s wrongdoing, the women claim that Lasher is unfamiliar with the ways of man and does his wrongdoing by mistake, due to a ‘childlike innocence.’

The careful reader will KNOW this is NOT true.

BUT, that’s the storyline of the “Mayfair Witches” which presents a familiar spirit as a blessing instead of a CURSE.

It is a deception carried on by evil spirits which enslave various unsuspecting folk.

It continues today through the end times and the Mayfair Witches are merely a re-telling of a sad, sad story.

The WORLD presents the familiar Spirit as a blessing. God’s Word presents the familiar Spirit as it is: a CURSE.

Man Entertains Thoughts Which Are NOT From God

During the course of a normal, usual day, a man may entertain THOUSANDS of thoughts.

Some are organized into distinct sections.

Some are not.

Some are pondered because they might lead to material gain or some other advantage.

Others are considered “stray thoughts” which ‘pop up’ into our heads and we begin thinking on them BEFORE we really become aware of what we are doing.

IF one carries on a fairly constant, internal conversation with God, then one can easily ascertain that SOME of these thoughts come from the LORD Himself for our edification.

By the same token, IF one carries on a fairly constant, internal conversation with God, then one can ALSO easily ascertain that SOME of those thought do NOT come from the LORD.

Who puts those thoughts there?

Perhaps Satan himself.

Perhaps some who labor in league with Satan for NO good end.

Why does God allow His creation to struggle with such stray thoughts?

Perhaps God wants to see how man will react to such thoughts?

Man might turn away from such tempting fruit OR man might latch onto such fruit as a way to ‘outwit’ the God who created him.

Because God inhabits EVERY point in time–past, present and future–He KNOWS how each man will react to ‘stray thoughts.’

BUT maybe He wants to see what He already knows to be true, confirmed?

During the course of a normal, usual day, a man may entertain THOUSANDS of thoughts.

IF one carries on a fairly constant, internal conversation with God, then one can ALSO easily ascertain that SOME of those thought do NOT come from the LORD.

The reader may let this piece serve as a gentle reminder:

Beware of stray thoughts which suddenly appear!

HAS the reader ever had a stray thought from who-knows-where?

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

What Happens to Devils and Demons When the Last Days are Finished For These Servants of God?

Although God’s Word mentions the ultimate end of Satan (the dragon), Satan’s man of sin (false prophet) and the beast (of Satan), as well as almost everyone else, great and small, it does NOT declare what happens to demons (devils).

“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
–Revelation 19:20,20:10

Demons (devils) are a creation of God and make up a significant portion of God’s end times army.

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”
–Revelation 9:1-3

These ‘locusts’ are NOT insects as locusts [which are insects] have NO king.

“The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands”
–Proverbs 30:27

YET, these ‘locusts’ of God’s great end times army DO have a king.

“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”
–Revelation 9:11

These ‘locusts’ are also described in Joel’s second chapter.

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?”
–Joel 2:1-3,7-11

Their appearance is described in Joel.

“The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. “
–Joel 2:4-6

Which very closely resembles the appearance as it is described in Revelation.

“And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.”
–Revelation 9:7-9

To any who may have doubts: God Himself declares that he created ALL things–including devils.

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”
–Isaiah 45:7

So, these demons (devils) serve the God who created them during the last days.

To that end, they make up a significant portion of the army of God which afflicts Jerusalem.

What is their ultimate destiny?

Are they rewarded for their service?

“For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.”
–Joel 1:6,11

BUT, there is no mention of what happens to these devils ANYWHERE in God’s Word, though it does suggest that God will deal with them in a Godly manner.

“In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.”
–Zephaniah 1:9

Perhaps it is more accurate to portray these devils as being USED BY God to further His ends, rather than ‘servants’ who totally do His bidding.

So, while God’s Word does NOT explicitly detail what happens to the demons which make up much of God’s end times army, it does implicitly suggest their ultimate disposition.

HAS the reader ever thought of demons (devils)?

OR, does the reader believe the many stories of man concerning these demonic entities?

It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
