#1 in a series – Demons: What does the Bible have to say?

The Bible has much to say about demons and their interaction with Jesus Christ. The gospel of Matthew alone has 11 different instances in which Jesus interacted with a human that had a “devil,” “demon” or “evil spirit.” [Matt 4:23-25, Matt 7:21-23, Matt 8:14-17, Matt 8:28-34, Matt 9:32-34, Matt 10:1-8, Matt 11:16-19, Matt 12:22-32, Matt 12:43-45, Matt 15:21-28, Matt 17:14-21]
Of all of the miracles performed by Jesus Christ, all but one had been previously done before in the Old Testament. That one new miracle which Jesus performed was the casting out of demons. There is no record of anyone in the Old Testament performing this miracle.
In fact, the Bible says that “casting out devils” was part of Jesus last commands to his disciples.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Christianity acknowledges the existence of demons and evil spirits–as do many other religions.

“Stanley Ann Dunham traveled the world in the employ of several different organizations including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Ford Foundation, and the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii. A bit of Stanley Ann Dunham trivia: her passport records for her years prior to 1968 were somehow destroyed by the State Department–even though the State Department does not normally destroy passport records. Isn’t that strange?
Maybe it was just a coincidence that Stanley Ann Dunham happened to be in Indonesia and Pakistan at a time when the CIA’s presence in those countries was especially strong. Maybe it was just further coincidence that Obama’s mother was always employed by foundations or organizations known to have strong ties to the CIA. Maybe it was a coincidence that Stanley Ann Dunham was married to the one guy who was the go-between for Mobil Oil and the newly-installed regime of General Suharto when she was in Indonesia. After all, Obama Sr. was at one time employed by Shell Oil. Maybe she had a thing for oil men?
According to old friends who grew up with Stanley Ann Dunham, she became a serious student of Communist and Marxist theories back in high school. One profile even named a few of her radical teachers and administrators at Mercer High, where Dunham attended, whose classrooms formed part of what was called “anarchy alley. What sounds strange is that this avant garde, supposedly idealistic Communist-thinking student of the Left, met a major oil company executive during the radical 1960s and, not only found him NOT tobe a repulsively evil money-grubbing capitalist pig, but was so taken in by his Big Oil company/military charm, that she married him.
Okay, so maybe that’s not coincidence: maybe that’s just the power of love.
Maybe it was just a coincidence that Stanley Ann Dunham’s pre-1968 passport records happened to be destroyed. Maybe it was a coincidence that Stanley Ann Dunham lived at the Hilton International in Lahore for five years–the same swanky digs used by her son in 1981 when he visited the country as a penniless youth.”
What’s the only conclusion? Barack Hussein Obama is a child of coincidence.
Is Kim Clements a New Age Prophet? – If you are unfamiliar with Clements, he’s one of those many guys running around on Christian TV insisting he is an “apostle.” How do you know that these guys are apostles? Just ask them! They’re not shy about telling you! There’s also a group of self-appointed “prophets.” Here’s a tip: if you need a business card with “prophet” on it, look for another line of work. Even if you are making money now in the “prophet” business, the Bible says the time for all that is drawing to an end. Do You Know Jesus?
Who was Soapy Smith? – One of the Old West’s biggest conmen, gamblers and criminals. If Soapy were alive today, he would likely be plying his trade in Washington DC–or on Christian TV.

Texas Brags, California Lags – We’ve seen this script before. Build up a state, suck in people from the states that have deserted from America–and then the promoted state turns renegade. New York, California, Florida, now it’s Texas’ turn.

It sure did. After 2001, ANYTHING could and was justified in the name of “fighting terror.” It would be stomach-turning if it weren’t so tragic.
Vince Flynn Dead – An author of heavily-promoted “thrillers” which glorified the CIA, domestic spying and surveillance technology. Flynn was a part of that vast web of deceit that reassured Americans “It’s okay. They’re spying on you to keep you safe. And look, it’s exciting to read about too!” Will be missed by his publisher until they find another guy to promote. 1966-2013.
License plate locations tracked, details stored – All of you “paranoid” readers who felt this has been going on for a long time, stand up and take a bow. And quit telling everyone “I told you so.” They’re not listening. They still have their heads in the sand.
FORBES: Glenn Beck is the new Oprah – Beck is the New Age king of the world. Oprah was well rewarded for leading millions of women down the New Age path. Beck is being rewarded for leading men and Christians down that same dark path to perdition.
Video: Paul Ryan’s Incoherent defense of Amnesty – Paul Ryan (R-WI) is one of those darlings of conservatives who never take the time to check voting records. Ryan voted for almost every single program that Obama proposed in 2009. In 2010, Ryan then attacked the very programs he voted for in Congress a year earlier! Bailouts, Stimulus I and II,and practically every program Obama proposed, Ryan supported. “Budget cutter” Ryan also supported Medicare expansion under Bush.
It was an incredibly brazen act of political subterfuge. But Ryan could never have pulled it off without the help of a co-conspirator Corporate Media AND clueless conservatives with no memories and/or little research skills. Paul Ryan became almost overnight a “budget cutter!” Ryan is feckless, soulless and a New World Order stooge. Little wonder he’s incoherent at this stage.

It’s a hard world–and getting harder by the minute.
The Culture of Death surround us. It’s everywhere one looks. It’s in the newspapers, on the streets, on the TV, in the movies, on your smartphones. It follows you into your cars on the radio.
Violence, death and destruction: and that’s just what’s in the news headlines.
Modern Americans are surrounded by the Culture of Death. They are mostly desensitized to death–especially the young. Life is cheap–and getting cheaper as you read this.
June 28, 2013 was just another day for the Culture of Death.

CULTURE OF DEATH: Is there a solution?
Is there a solution to the Culture of Death? Fortunately, there is.
“When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.”

Do you know Jesus?
He is the only solution for the Culture of Death. Almost 2000 years ago, Jesus came to earth, became man and died for the world’s sins: yours, mine and everyone in the world today.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive eternal life–which is exactly the reverse of the Culture of Death!
Don’t hesitate: death can be sudden–and it is final.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
