NORTH KOREA: North Korean election goes exactly as you’d expect – It’s amusing propaganda that the recent North Korean election was held with dictator Kim Jong Un receiving 100 percent of the vote. But here’s something to think about. Most readers easily spotted the North Korean announcement as propaganda–that of the unsophisticated, ancient type to which Americans in the 1920s and 1930s were exposed. But how many readers spotted the linked CNS article as propaganda? It’s a more sophisticated version that Americans have been getting for the last 60 years.
It’s seamlessly integrated into American newspapers, advertising and newscasts everyday and helps the government keep an iron control over the population–regardless of the abuses suffered by “We the People.” The vast majority of Americans mistake this later improvement on propaganda as “news.” But Americans are too smart to fall for that primitive propaganda the North Koreans are getting. Most Americans have been taught the clumsy, mostly-Communist retro-version is what propaganda looks like. And that fact in itself is another example of propaganda.

Bridal Eschatology – (Repeat) Important article about what’s taking place in many American churches today–which is a return to a movement which was rooted out of the Church in the 1950s. But now it’s back and it’s growing exponentially.
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
He believes he is preparing an army of Christians who will triumph during the soon-coming crisis of the Antichrist’s global rule and the Great Tribulation. He preaches a self-identified apostolic Christianity characterized by intimacy with Jesus as bridegroom…. He declares that… Jesus is waiting for the church to prepare itself as the pure Bride of Christ and to ready itself to launch the last-day divine war to drive evil from the earth and cleanse it so that it can be filled with God’s love and glory.
These are very attractive doctrines for those who are worried about the end times. Who wouldn’t want great earthly power in the name of Christ instead of suffering for the name of Jesus? Who doesn’t want to see great signs and wonders unleashed because of prayer? Who wouldn’t rather call the shots instead of trusting on the Lord?
This movement provides a blueprint for a coming apostasy so great, so far-reaching that it will look like a great end times revival–about which the Bible is silent but which many have proclaimed as if it were biblical. Whole churches will enthusiastically fall away to great power, signs and wonders–and into the waiting arms of the Whore of Babylon.
Bickle envisions that the end-time forerunner church will be an advanced “apostolic” movement. They will experience “greater things” than the apostles themselves. They will function as the last day Moses who through prayer releases God’s plagues on the Antichrist, the end-time Pharaoh. Bickle emphasizes that during the end times, Moses’ miracles and the miracles of the Book of Acts will be combined and multiplied on a global level as the praying church looses God’s judgments on the earth. This is why Bickle calls the Book of Revelation the “End-Times Book of Acts,” meaning that the Book of Revelation reveals the acts of the Holy Spirit that will be demonstrated through the end-time praying church.
What this apostate church will do is seemingly rout the antichrist through the miraculous power of prayer. In reality, what they will be doing is ushering in the real beast–and cheering wildly at each of their triumphs over a carefully-constructed counterfeit. And make no mistake: the Bible affirms that there will be power and signs and wonders unleashed.
BUT these miracles and signs and wonders do not occur within the framework of the Church of Jesus Christ. They take place in the satanic counterfeit–which will have been very cleverly constructed after centuries of planning by the dragon.
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
One has to be careful what one asks for: Those desperate to see signs and wonders and miracles will indeed have their wishes granted. And soon.
Very, very soon.
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
The aforementioned Scripture should cause a solemn soberness in all Christians.

Seven apostolic spheres – It’s interesting that the Dominion Theologists/New Apostolic Reformation/IHOP proclaim that they will spread their militaristic, war-like version of Christianity to what they call the Seven Mountains: family, church, government, schools, media, sports, technology. This is said to be the Seven Mountains that will reclaim the culture.
It has been mostly liberals who have been keeping an eye on this phenomena over the last 15 years. Once upon a time, when this writer would see liberals voicing concern over a theocracy in America, it was thought to be a good example of hyperventilation on their part. To the contrary, it now appears they were the ones paying attention.
David Barton advocates Seven Mountains Dominionism
Interestingly enough, the Whore of Babylon, an end times satanic church described in Revelation, also is connected with seven mountains.
“And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”
It’s long been thought that the seven mountains referred to “seven hills”–as in Rome. However, the Greek word used for “mountain” is not the same as the word used for “hill.” Hence, the accurate translation that the Whore of Babylon sits on seven mountains.
Maybe it’s all just a coincidence?

OBSERVATION – This writer carries on a wide variety of correspondence, talks and discussions every day with numerous people, both in and out of the country. Just yesterday, it was remarked that discussions about end times events are most difficult among certain of those professing to be Christians.
Part of civil discourse is handling the inevitable disagreements and points of discussion which arise. In fact, this is the very core of discussion. If everyone agreed, there remains very little left to discuss.
For the most part, discussion has become an almost impossible task with this certain Christian segment. When the discussion runs counter to their perceived take–even when it includes Bible verses–they get angry.
In some cases, very angry.
In some cases, angry to the point of rendering any further discussion impossible. About any subject.
Which is unfortunate. More could be said about this particular religious group–and perhaps more will be said at some point in the future.
For now, we are to pray for our brethren. And so we do.
Daily.
Twice daily since the realization of how very short the time is.
