May 23, 2020 – End Times Prophecy Report

The Lukewarm Churches

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
–Revelation 3:14-16

Almost 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ revealed his reaction to the lukewarm who congregated at the Leodicean church.

They made him puke.

The reason Jesus gives for his nausea (besides the lukewarmness)?

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked”
–Revelation 3:17

Wonder what Jesus would say to the lukewarm who congregate today in the powerless, compromising American churches?

DOES the reader believe he is “rich and increased with goods“?

OR, does the reader believe he needs to acquire many more goods in order to feel that way?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

Sunny Days, Fear and Unfinished Thoughts

It’s funny how a conversation can begin in one place and end up in a completely different place.

Late afternoon and two middle-aged men are walking down an old dirt road.

Their discussions had wandered here and there, touching on MANY different topics. Since these two men had known each other for years, at times their conversation covered things that had taken place in the past; sometimes, the topics were of a very general nature; sometimes, they touched upon those things considered “silly.”

In other words, their conversation was not in any way very organized or orderly.

The topic then turned to “FEAR.”

So, it was surprising when the younger of the two men stopped suddenly, spread his arms wide and declared,

“You know, almost all of my days used to be sunny days. When I was younger, you know? Most weeks had a lot of sunny days in them. But now, it seems like the days are almost all overcast. Does that make any sense?”

“Does this have anything to do with fear?”

“I didn’t used to be ‘fraid of NUTHIN’! I think it was because my days were mostly sunny!”

“And now that your days are overcast, you get frightened easily? I’m still not sure I understand.”

“I’ve been wanting to tell someone about when I was younger: when my days were mostly sunny. This seemed to be a good time. That’s all.”

THIS was most surprising: it was not like the younger man to wax poetic.

The conversation that day continued until the two men found themselves back at their cars.

After a few pleasantries, they both got into their cars and drove home.

But later, the older of the two men couldn’t help but think about what the other man has said about his “sunny days.”

SOMETIMES, he thought of that conversation as a part of a larger whole. Did it mean something other than what it was claimed to have meant? Was he missing something?

He even thought of several questions to ask the next time they were talking–just to try and be more clear about what was said.

SOMETIMES, he wondered if his friend had been trying to say something else.

Was he trying to say something bout fear?

About missed opportunities?

About the way men see things more optimistically when they’re younger?

SOMETIMES, he thought, “Maybe I’m making too big a deal out of this?”

But he really didn’t think that was true: after all, it was HARD to not think about it.

In the end, he FINALLY stopped thinking about what his friend has said that day.

In the end, he FINALLY had his mind occupied by newer and more important topics.

And no, he never did get to the bottom of the whole thing–if there WAS a bottom to be gotten to.

HOWEVER, he did think it was a good example of

Studies

No doubt the reader has noticed the dozens upon dozens of STUDIES on which the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) daily reports.

These supposedly objective, rigidly-scientific studies cover almost ANY topic known to man. For example, during the last 24 hours a few of the , studies which have been reported include:

Before the entire coronavirus shutdown, a great many studies addressed whether COFFEE was good or bad for a person.

And this last list highlights one of the features of the highly-promoted studies: there is a GREAT amount of disagreement with the results of various STUDIES.

One study says THIS.

Another, says THAT.

Which is one of the great advantages to paying much attention to STUDIES.

“Scientific studies” are one of the few times that an opinion becomes “evidence” based solely on what that one study claims. It is not important how much evidence and observations contradict a study, the study is often treated AS IF it is a voice of truth on the matter.

Particularly by the Corporate Media.

ANYONE can find a study which supports their opinion on any number of things.

Which is one of the beautiful advantages to publishing so many different studies with so many different results.

Readers pretty much ignore the studies with which they disagree–and quote the studies which support their opinions.

It does not matter what practical experience may have demonstrated over the years. In many people’s minds, it’s what ONE STUDY supposedly “proves.”

For instance, a regular, heavy drinker can see the ill effects that liquor has had on his health, as can those who come in close contact with him.

BUT, he still carries around a yellowed scrap cut from a newspaper twenty-five or thirty years ago which reports a study which declared a regular drink can increase your life span.

Which he shows to ANYONE who starts to give him a hard time about his drinking.

It was the same 50 years ago with smoking cigarettes.

A regular smoker could see the bad effects smoking had on his health. But he told anyone who would listen about how his brand of cigarettes was “preferred by 4 out of 5 doctors.”

Still, for all of the disagreements of the studies and their results; for all of the misinformation passed off as “scientific research;” for all of the unhealthy habits they have kept alive; there is ONE positive benefit to all of the studies which have been–and continue to be–published.

They help keep the paper companies in business.

DOES the reader believe studies contain new information?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
